- This is a 2013 Corsa VXR with the generation 2 M32 gearbox.
A short video on how the gear oil is replaced.
Generation 1 box has a level / fill plug on the side and is 2.2 litres but it is recommended to increase to 2.5 litres
Generation 2 box does not have a level / fill plug and is 2.2 litres. 2.2 litres is fine for this box as the end casing has improved oil flow guides. - Авто та транспорт

Hi Brother yesterday i have cange the gearbox oil in my MK1 Mokka 1.7 cdti 131hp...drained almost 2 litres the same gearbox of the video and put in 2 litres 75w80 MTF BARDAHL and additive antifriction BARDAHL...the gear now are soft like butter.... Saluti dall'Italia

2l is not enough. You should add 500ml more

my friend i have (opel meriva b 1.4 turbo) 2012 with 6 speed . i think i have gearbox (m32-6 wr) is this the same capacity of oil ? i have to put 2 liters in ?
Does meriva b ,2010 years, have gen 1 or gen 2 gearbox?
Anyone know the sizes for these bolts so I can get it ready instead of taking a whole toolbox ?

Thanks for the video. A lot of people suggest over filling the box oil. Do you do this?
Only with gen 1 boxes. I have put my thoughts in the video notes.
If you service the box regularly and pay attention to any leaks or loss off oil then there is no need to over fill.
I have had boxes that have failed and when I’ve drained them, they have had 3 litre in 🤦🏻♂️ too much oil is as bad as too little oil

@@AMSVauxhall the overfill was intended to stop failure of 5th and six gear bearings, common fault on this box...and it does actually help as long as a good quality oil like millers or fuchs is used.

@@AMSVauxhallsorry Andy I couldn't see anywhere where the reason for the overfill was stated and wanted to mention that it helped stop failure of bearing for gears 5 and 6.
