the front left coin vanish under the card has always baffled me. I perform several matrix routines but the coin is clearly visible when it is covered with the card until the card is removed at the end of the routine
vernonclassic I have and they are outstanding but have you got any idea about that last coin? it's clearly visible the last time it's covered with the card which is not touched until it's lifted to reveal the coin has vanished
If you look carefully at 1-43 you can see Paul lift the card up slightly as he uses his thumb to lift the coin and press it underneath the card, thereby making it 'disappear'. Still a brilliant trick though.
At .25x speed the front left coin clips through the index card for one frame before being covered again. Pretty good editing for the time period/tech available
The man was brilliant ... everything he did was magnificent
Without the Bandana I got it figured out...Brilliant One coin slight of hand...perfectly executed. An amazing performance...
Really cool to see one of the true Master's perform so beautifully
These spectators back in the day seem like a tough crowd lol
Fantastic presentation.
He's so good.
Beautiful coin magic
It's incredible but true.
Excellent.
The best.
unfortunately, you'd never get away with performing a matrix routine on prime-time Saturday night tv these days!
Why not?
@@thequadcitymagician "No answer", came the stern reply.

I think it's an artifact of the recording.
It is visible and that's what got me stumped. Clutching a bit here but the coin looks thinner. Perhaps a split coin that gets picked up later?
