- update 10/12/12016: with update 2.13, the unprecedented second pop-up (one for store, one for breakthrough) seems to be interfering, so it isn't working. Probably worth checking again when the breakthrough pop-up disappears.

This glitch allows you to buy a promotion for any character directly using power credits.
So what's the big deal? you may be asking. Clearly it's useless for most characters that you can buy directly in the store. Many characters in the store are cheaper than the cost of a challenge character.
The big deal is that you can use this technique for any characters that you normally cannot promote directly.
Do you want to promote your Ares or Cassandra Cain Batgirl? You can buy promotions directly instead of waiting for the next time they are the Season Reward.
Do you want to promote [challenge character] that you picked in a challenge booster pack, but don't have him/her unlocked. Instead of buying multiple challenge packs hoping to get him/her, pay the price of the current challenge character for the promotion.
Do you want any of the console unlock characters promoted? Prison Superman, Batman Beyond, Arkham Harley Quinn (probably the only one who is worth paying directly for promoting fully), N52 Flash, Knightfall Bane... you'll be waiting a long time to pick up any of them in the booster packs.
update 7/6/2015: hat tip to +Yusuf Lawal. This does not work for The Killing Joke Joker, since he still costs Alliance Credits.
As we mention in the video, here are some key points to remember:
1) There must be a current challenge.
2) There must be a promotion with a pop-up that includes a button that takes you directly into the store (in the video, it's the announcement that the MOS pack is leaving)
3) You must have enough credits to pay the price of the character that you want. (incorrectly stated in the video as the price of the challenge character) This is the limiting step, as these announcements are sporadic and not often available.
4) This only works for promotions. You must have at least one copy of the card so that you can see it in your collection.
5) Do one on-line battle before starting to ensure that your WBID has your most up-to-date progress.

This glitch still works today with the Red Son pack being discontinued during Zatanna Challenge. The important thing is to clear data WHILE THE GAME IS RUNNING. This will auto-close it. If you close it, THEN clear the data, the pop-up occurs before you log in. Also, you must be quick enough to hit settings before the pop-up loads. This has been my experience.

Good news everyone! I can confirm this still does work after the newest update 2.6.0
Better do it quick tho because the BNMM challenge is almost over and there is currently a pop up stating that the Bleed Out Pack is only in the shop for 1 more day.
I just got Metahuman Flash the current online challenge character to EVII !!! I foreal am so excited now I can stay out of the hacking dog fight which is MP. BTW this new Flash is beast I am so glad you guys posted this video. Thank you for the info! keep up the great work guys.
This is amazing. It allowed me to get Prison Superman and Batman Beyond to E VII. I unlocked Cassandra Cain Batgirl today so I guess I'll also use it later ☺.

Do you know why you were banned?
Creating a new account doesn't mean losing all your progress.
If you did something so that one of your parameters triggered the ban (e.g. too many credits, unreleased character, level or promotion exceeded the limits, etc.), creating a new account won't help you unless you fix whatever triggered the ban.
If the ban was for something more arbitrary that has nothing to do with your account progress, you can create a new account and keep all your progress.

Create a new account.
Open Injustice.
Log out of your previous account.
Log in to your new account.
Go on-line and fight a few MP battles.
Your new account should now be updated with all your current data.
Sometimes it's glitchy and you may need to create the account over. No rhyme or reason to it. And if there is something in your progress/data that needs fixing first, you will be automatically banned in the new account if you don't fix whatever is messed up.
20 million credits or less should probably be safe. 1000 recharges or less should be okay.

It is not at the cost of the challenge character. It is at the cost of the character you're buying. Both ares and static cost 241,000 credits so you felt it that way. The fact is you can buy any card and that card will cost it's actual cost. You can buy a bronze and it will cost only 8000-12000 as for normal bronzes and not the cost of the challenge character.

+Christian Ged Bagay Yep. Like we lay out in the video and in the description, you just need to wait for the right circumstances: a pop-up with a button that takes you into the store, plus a current challenge.

Hey man, been watching your channel for a while. You have been a huge help for my injustice gaming. Thanks for that. Just got 3 copies of CCBG and waiting to promote her to e7. But I wanted to ask, was there a time when you tried this glitch and when you logged in to your WBid account, all your characters were deleted? I need to do this glitch at least 5 times to e7 her and Im scared that all my characters will be gone.
Also, with every data reset, does the pop-up re-appear? Or do I have to wait for a new pop-up to do the glitch again? Appreciate the help.
Christian Ged Bagay Yes, every time you clear data, the pop-up will re-appear if it's the right time for the pop-up.
We have never had a time, after clearing data, when our WBID lost all our characters. However, there have been sporadic reports from others (including one particularly bitter fellow) of losing all progress. That's why we have repeatedly endorsed using a third party app to save all progress. Our personal preference is for Helium (which does not require rooting), but we've seen lots of positive comments about Titanium (which does require rooting).

I got it to work once and now it isnt working anymore. When I hold down my thumb on the challenge character and the pop up comes, I hold it down like you said and then click shop now. It doesnt do what it did the first time or on your screen anymore. It just flashes regime hawkgirl and then goes to the store. But when you click on the character you want to promote and go to the tap view screen and then press back to go to the main screen it doesnt allow you to buy it......

Haha this glitch couldn't have come at a perfect time I recently got Cassandra Cain Batgirl in MP. so I thought after I completed the challenge I would be able to elite 7 her with credits like a normal challenge after completion. Was so sad when i found out i could not. Thank you so much to the glitch finder and also to you for demonstration :)

Just thought I should mention this but after I do this glitch. I don't know if you remember but I was the one that thought i found a new Red son glitch. anyways that's the way I get money and so now instead of getting 3 packs I get 5 packs now. 5 of each character each time and now im really making alot of money 1.5 to 2 million every three times i do it after I sell the cards. the only reason why I'm mentioning this is because it only happens after i do this glitch. its really weird lol

-2nd. go to settings then ill clear the data of injustice. then ill play injustice.
-3rd. ill log my Google play email add. then ill log my wb acct. then after that ill choose my previous save ofc.
-4th go to main menu and wait for the pop up. when i go there no pop up even i wait for around 20minutes

I tried on this on my Note 3, and I can't pass the part whrere you gotta hold static for 10 seconds. I did hold him for 10 sec or even more but nothing has popped up or anything. So I tested myself when I should press the screen and it was when he slowly appears. even then I tried, nothing happens.

im doing this glitch but no pop ups for me. after following all the steps mention above the only pop up that appear is the bonus xp gift after doing the clear data thing. im using 2.5.1 version. i need help. TIA
+Char lie Just checked now and it still works. Can you describe in more details what you're doing and what you see? Makes it easier to figure out where you're going wrong.
This is kind of BS because you will need enough credits to buy a challenge character you want, but since the injustice store doesn't have all the characters from all challenges you can't choose what you want. and you guys clearly showed we need to first win the challenge, then do this. But most challenge characters are more than 200000 credits which you could try your luck in the challenge booster pack. So there is a lot of good stuff and flaws.
DipBT 15 You're kind of missing the point.
As we've mentioned repeatedly, this is a glitch most useful for more experienced players, specifically because it is so expensive to buy each character.
Ares and Cassandra Cain Batgirl are not available in any packs. They are easily worth more than the cost of any offline challenge characters. Unless you want to wait for the next MP season where they are offered as rewards, at which point you can max out at 2 copies for a week's worth of play, usually more than 1.2 million points to land in the top 1%.
If you are missing a lot of challenge characters, of course the challenge pack is a better deal.
But if you only need 1 or 2, then it's a huge savings to specifically target one particular character. If you needed 2 more copies of a card, 500k is a steal when you compare it to the number of challenge packs you might need to buy to get lucky enough to get them.
And even if you were to use the flip technique or lock/unlock technique to pay a lot less for the challenge packs, it would still take a lot of time, with no certainty that you will get what you want.
Clearly this is not a glitch for everyone. But there are a good number of players who find this extremely useful.

You guys should try this again,if you havent recently. Not working the way you describe. The "claim reward" screen comes up,which seems to screw up the proicess

So this one weird glitch is happening to me, the daily reward bonuses keeps on repeat it's self and I can't play online because it drains it's power for no reason. Got any info on how to fix it ?

@bdckr shop now pop up just appeared but i the purchase button dont appear. in the video when you press the shop now button after you tap the background will be the challnge character mine is the regular background

And important point: We're not tapping the background. We are specifically touching and holding the spot where you *would* tap to see the challenge character's details. You need to hold it for 10 seconds (even after the pop-up appears) before letting go and then entering the store.

I am trying this again because a pop up alerts the RS pack is leaving. It has not worked yet. I noticed you had it on airplane mode. Should I do that? How do I login while airplane mode is on? Also, the RS pop up appears before I login? Help, please!
FastDriver InanAgeraR That's the key. You need to log-in *before* the Red Son pop-up comes. You need to click on "settings" really quickly as soon as the game loads.
We are connected by wifi, so we just have it on airplane mode out of habit..

Maybe. We only do it on our own devices. But the problem is sometimes another pop-up interfering with the pop-ups that matter. Same thing happened during the Christmas login bonuses. But at least with that, we were able to come up with a work-around.
Actually character you are promoting comes instead of challenge character using for this glitch. I promoted Ares while there was new Lobo Challenge. And now he disappeared from my collection.

Characters disappear when you oversell them. We have used this glitch every time there was a pop-up and challenge, and have never lost a character. Our original video where we discussed overselling (ua-cam.com/video/49Y-igD_Kh8/v-deo.html) is more than a year old, and we understand the pitfalls and dangers of overselling even better now than we did then. We are considering re-filming it, but the Infinite Selling Redux video has the best information about overselling (at least until we get to refilming an updated warning video).

You're absolutely right, the problem is the Harley Quinn on the main page. Means you can't get to the Arkham Knight part before the pop-up. We'll need to wait for the Early Access pack to go.
why are there no pop ups showing on mine when i hit back just after restoring my save data?
Rikku Freak The pop-up has to show up on its own first -- typically it's a booster pack that is rotating out, or a new one rotating in. You need to see a pop-up with a button to go into the store plus have a current challenge before you can use this glitch.
Usually those pop-ups only appear once. The whole point of clearing the data is to make the pop-up appear again, since most people aren't able to anticipate the pop-up before it appears. If you could do that, you wouldn't even need to clear the data.
Any ideas on when a new pop up message will appear? Thanks!

I just tried this and the shop now ad didn't pop up
It partly works on ios..but at the end when you have to go back to buy Ares after doing everything the same,after pressing back it takes u to the main menu and not to the the buying page..can anyone help??
If i go to Ares through my collection (elite 3) and after pressing view it show static but with the stats and passive of Ares!!
What pop up did you use on iOS?

Same thing happend to me. It goes to the main menu at the end. :( in ios you have to reinstall the game to start the glitch.

Caleb Sanders Having a challenge is only one of the requirements. There needs to be a pop-up with a link directly to the store. Currently, there isn't one of the pop-ups. They typically come when the devs want to a new pack coming or an old pack leaving.

fluffhead7046 ahh... that was our mistake. When we believed that you could use this to buy Killing Joke Joker using coins. Unfortunately, probably because he is already in our stores, he still costs 60 Alliance Credits even if you use this glitch.
Our original thinking was this: if you could use this method to buy KJJ with power credits, you could sell him back for 18 alliance credits, effectively converting power credits to alliance credits.

Definitely not patched. There hasn't been an update since the last pop-up one week ago. And it was confirmed working then.

Last laugh tickets are harder on faster running devices but either way ive found more efficient ways for both scenarios for faster devices right after fight when xp gains about to pop up tap screen to force next button up quickly hitting power button then unlock while tapping quickly with index and middle finger together on next button this gets me about ten every time until my arms tired lol on slower ones you stall a little before next button force and before screen unlock

More in response to your other comment(s) (which no one else can read because they are "held for review" for profanity): Have you actually logged back in to your WBID? And did you pick the save that had more characters? (In other words, the save that was *NOT* the brand new 3 character save.) Because that should have restored your progress; otherwise you would not have enough credits to buy anything.
And did you create a back-up with a third party app (e.g. Helium, Titanium) before you did this, like we recommended in the video?
Because if you did either one of those things, your progress would not be lost.

I keep trying to do this with the new BNDD and those damn early access packs keep getting in the way and it doesn't work anymore.
Is there away around this or have you guys tried it since?
It has worked for me for any card up untill these packs. Please help if possible, it would be amazing to elite that monster of a card!
You are exactly right: the EAPs are the problem. We have not found a solution. We are hoping that they will go away at some point, like they did when the EAP for AKHQ first showed up. Unfortunately, it may be the new normal.
+bdckr gaming Dang not good news! BNDD is amazing unfortunately it will take around a year to fully elite now that this won't work because of the EAPs. I appreciate the response and all the fantastic work you guys do to help others with this game. Been a sub for over a year now and you never disappoint!
Anyways keep the great content coming and if possible keep us posted on this glitch/video if anything at all changes and if there is a way around those stupid EAPs. Thanks!
