Fall is upon us, and bodega shopping is inevitable. Bodega is basically New York's way of saying "corner store." Anywho, this look will definitely help you for your late night emergency toilet paper run, your atm withdrawals, or even to eat a sandwich.

i prefer black sweatpants so that no one can tell i've spilled/rubbed sandwich remnants/grease on myself. but hey, props on the light gray--it shows that you have confidence in your eating prowess!

agreed. most of the people who frequent my go-to corner store are either my teenage boy neighbors and their friends or really old men who are buying coffee and/or playing scratch tickets... sometimes both.

This look is so on point. And so versatile. From walmart to the bodega and even to trader joes. The perfect and most neccessary fall look for when you're just trying to pick up some pumpkin Ace Cider.
I feel there was a missed opportunity to accessorize this ensemble. A nice chunky food stain would really accentuate the neck and also allow for some possible nostril-assaulting aroma. Food stains are totally in right now. Be brave and clash for added attitude - spagetti sauce on a pink shirt; yoghurt on a yellow shirt. The possibilities are endless. Express yourself.

I'm really feelin' this outfit top to bottom. I really love the make up too, because then it's like, "Who spends that much time on make up and wears that outfit? Is she that lazy?" It adds a huge component of mystery and I'm really into that kind of look for fall.

I've said this before but I'll say it again, Akilah is not only genuinely funny and charming and smart but she's also beautiful and has the personality to actually be a UA-camr.
My favorite part was the bonnet, of course. I would have gone with a black satin headwrap. I think it's a bit more scary but the bonnet gets the job done as well.

It was a tough decision but I have to say my favorite part of the outfit was the hair-bonnet a great alternative to the patterned silk-scarf that I wrap my hair with. Your black bonnet is like hair camouflage. :)
