I can't explain how much I laughed and went "Ohhhhhhhh, I actually get what you're talking about." This made so much more sense to someone like me, that is still clueless about the whole makeup thing by 18. Good tip about the eye liner... I'm yet to do a good upper lash line. :P

First note: this is so great.
Second note: Honestly, I've loathed makeup for the longest time. I always felt that if I wore makeup that I was ashamed of my natural face, or that I was weak because I let society shame me into wearing makeup so that I could look like I was expected to. BUT this video is starting to help me see that wearing makeup only means what I decide it means, and that I shouldn't be apprehensive of being "caught" wearing makeup.
You don't even need make up. You're beautiful.
Finally a realistic makeup tutorial for lazy and cheap people like me that I legit needed.
Spiffleh that makeup ain't cheap though, it's all hella expensive but you can save a lot of money applying it her way instead of buying those stupid $20 beauty blenders and $45 makeup brushes (for one brush!) like I was suckered into doing....*sigh*...

I'm watching this in 2017, and the paroxysm of joy I just experienced because of the cuteness in your end-video jingle? Absolute.
I noticed that using primer helps keep my liquid foundation looking even when applying it, so it doesn't look caked up. I was suckered into buying it at a Mary Kay party along with a lot of makeup products. One time I didn't use the primer and I just looked horrible. It also keeps the foundation from clogging your pores. Which I never fully understood because isn't the primer going to clog the pores instead? I guess the primer is safer. Idk. I'm sure the Mary Kay lady would never lie to me.
I'm no guru though. That's about all I know about makeup. Oh yeah. I try to always use a brush so the oils from my fingers won't clog my pores. I was told that at the MK party so I bought a brush. I'm sure the Mary Kay lady didn't lie to me.

My friend who is a beauty expert would freak out about you blowing on your brush lol. Mascara you definitely want to replace. You have such a good glow on your face and use like nothing, I'm so mad right now haha. Also this is how I feel my youtube tutorials would go. This has been my fave ever.

I have a combination of stuff I got for free and stuff magazines bullied me into buying all stuffed into my make-up bag (which was also free). I think the last time I actually used any of it properly is probably about 3 months ago. Make-up is just so much work.
You're a pro, though: definitely some serious points for straight lines (that probably will become an elective at school soon, with the way things are going) and not making that weird putting-on-mascara-but-also-looking-like-you're-mid-sneeze face! LOL
