Great video. I picked up a few rolls of Harman Phoenix as well, but haven't gotten a chance to shoot them yet. From videos by film photographers, I get the feeling that it works best with the morning/evening lighting, where the dynamic range isn't huge, and there is an area of emphasis in color. The film carries halation like the cinestill films and is super grainy too, so I'm going to be very selective about where and when to shoot it
Definitely being selective with where you shoot and what you but I think definitely shooting it is worth it. Would love to see your results when you get them back.
Loved it Ebi! Your shots with Phoenix are still some of my favourite I’ve seen so far. How do you film your POV? You got a digital camera hooked up on some rig or you using a GoPro? I think I saw a mic in the shadow somewhere in the vid.
Appreciate it. I use a go pro for most of it. Some iPhone shots here and there but POV is chest strap go pro and a voice recording over. Some audio footage is directly from the go pro.
Looks like you kept the M2. Saw your 6 Rolls video
A video on the lens I’m looking at also.
Look into the VX-201 light meter.
Yes I decided to keep it and it’s been really good to me. I’ll look into that light meter for sure. Thanks for sharing!
