Thanks Rob. I just recently lost my speargun because it pulled off the longline clip exactly how you showed. I will use the piece of rubber bungee to prevent this. Great tip!!
@@RobAllenSpearfishing Perfect, thanks. A lot of us don't use beeds just knots inside the rubbers, so if you can show it both ways it would be awesome.
Hi Rob, how can I remove a shark clip from the butt of a gun in case I do not want to use it? I tried un-screwing the screws from left/right part pf the handle but they got worn out. And a second question: I own a Sparid, but changed the shaft to 7.5mm and added a second 16mm band. Is there any other structural difference between a Tuna and a Sparid apart from the band/shaft setup? Thanks in advance!
Hi Christos, in order to take off the longline shark clip, unscrew both screws on the right side cheek plate. The left side are imitation. Once both right side screws are out, the 2 cheek plates can be removed and the clip will drop out. Then simply replace the 2 cheek plates. Re the Sparid, all the components are the same, no problem upgrading it to a Tuna.
Hi rob, just question, i am buying rob allen scorpia close muzzle and i want to upgrade/change it to open muzzle double rubber, any howto on that one? Thanks
You buying just the muzzle or the whole Scorpia gun? If the whole gun, easy to change out the muzzle but, be careful not to overload the barrel. The new Scorpia barrels are made lighter so designed for only one rubber. You can use 2 x 14mm rubbers if the gun is not too long.

Tinted mask glass: your eyes are basically not visible due to the tint (colored layer). Some fish react to human eyes (= the eyes of a predator) which can spook them away, so it can be very useful to hide your eyes (and your intentions hahaha) by a tinted or reflective mask glass.
What a lovely, elegant knot for a common requirement! Can’t wait to try that out myself - thanks for sharing
Please keep making these tutorials Rob, its helping me alot!

What size is that blue bungee rubber used on the clip
Our bungee rubber in 10mm OD with a 4mm ID. You can use an old 14mm speargun rubber, just cut it a little shorter.
спасибо,полезно
Thanks Rob

@@dieli9499 If you can choose, the Sparid is the better gun. You can upgrade that model, no a good idea to try upgrade the Scorpia.
Hi rob what is the main differance between a tinted cubera mask vs regular cubera mask
One's tinted.
Only the tint.
