Some trivia.
The 2nd song [夜葉：罪と罰の螺旋――。]. is clearly a tribute song to NieR:Automata. The title is pronounced [yoruha], and the character yoruha appears in the NieR:Automata work.
The 3rd song is Makoto Shinkai's [Kimi no na wa...]. The third song was supposed to be the theme of Makoto Shinkai's [Your Name] movie, according to rib himself. However, what he wanted to say changed while he was writing the lyrics, and there seems to be almost no elements of the movie. As a remnant, there is a hand-clapping part, which is a tribute to the theme song of the movie.
The 8th song was inspired by Fate/Staynight HeavensFeel, and is presumably a song from the perspective of the heroine and rasbos of HF.
1:14:36[mato sakuran wa] I assume this refers to matou sakura, the heroine of this work.
If you are interested, I recommend you to watch Fate/SN HF. (Fate/Stay Night is also recommended)
The 9th track has very strong elements of DIR EN GREY. The elements of [Scheweinの椅子] are especially strong.
Tracks 11 and 12 are a pair of songs with a series of lyrics that tell a story.
The 13th track is actually a very old song, the prototype already existed in 2013, as is the ANOTHER STREAM demo No.4 ...for 2nd full that exists on kim's soundcloud. The melody of this song is also used in the last part of [腐蝕ルサンチマン] and the guitar solo is used in [嚮導BRING].
tips: Deepl is more accurate and more natural for translation than Google.
Thanks for the info bomb lol. I've seen fate stay night a bunch of times, so ik what you mean. Yeah my translation was a bit wonky, but no way i'm working all of that out on a first listen. Maybe after doing tons of listening and research on it. Musically it had so many feels going through it, which is the most important for me. Passion is king regardless of language barriers and such from everything else. :D

As much as some of these may be true, i highly recommend you to change the "trivia" statement. Unless you have proper source for what you saying, this is just self-based deductions. We know Rib:y(uhki) does Doujin stuff, but the focus of ICDD is original compositions, as well as the lyrics mostly talks about the own world of ICDD, Taihaisekai. Of course, references can sure be a thing, but saying "it's totally based on" is a hyperbole.
I love people reacting to Imperial circus but finding someone who reacted to the entirety of one of their albums is gods gift. I love this.

Also a fun fact is that in the last song is kinda represents a trip down to memory lane, cuz in 37:17 that "Daichi wo kerikake yuke ano chiheisen no hate e" is basically the same in 1:54:22, and the solo here 1:05:03 sounds very familiar to 1:55:16

I do have to say, I love call backs like that. If a band adds like an "easter egg" of one of their older songs into a newer one.
This track was ammmaaazzziinnng, definitely my AOTY, the best for me were 1,2,5,7,8,9,12 and 13. But all of them were extremely good. Like the ones that were re-recorded, fushoku ressentiment, yomi yori, bring eyes death invite, and shinbatsu o tadori, the originals were really good but the re-recorded ones made them even b e t t e r, icdd never disappoints at all
It was Nocturnal Bloodlust with Argos, but this definitely topped it for me. Honestly the whole album never had a bad song. Every song mind blowing. Glad you enjoyed it. :D I loved it too, had the whole thing on repeat for days.

if you like this, I think the vocalist rib's best work came from Vermilion-D: Alice Syndrome and their album ( 狡猾なる混沌の仔と至極たる黎明に捧ぐ葬斂の劇詩) which is a complete masterpiece from beginning to end
notable tracks are Rasen Fuchi (螺旋淵) and Koukatsunaru (狡猾なる混沌の仔と至極たる黎明に捧ぐ葬斂の劇詩)

@@befell.4097 I know man, I've read demon slayer in the past till the end and I almost hated it, the art was so inconsistent and ugly (except some panels) and the whole story was just...meh. So the anime with its brightful colors and animations + music is a much better way to enjoy DS (even if I think its mid).
I wouldn't mind watching an anime that features the girls from the covers

Trying to translate a fictional language in google translate is… hard. There’s a translation for the fictional language in the booklet from the album and has the complete lyrics.
Least I got some kind of translation which is enough for me. Gave it my best shot anyway.
