Curious about how you mounted the tweeters in the A pillars. They look like they have been built up versus flush flat mounted. How did you accomplish this? Your camera recording audio sounds better than my Grenadier's stock setup, even with all the losses to get it to me through the interweb! Could you list the drivers you used too? Nice install.
Nice install. Can always upgrade sub control to DRC AC if owner wants presets for driver vs driver/passenger. Given all the BMW tech in the car, how close is the head unit to standard idrive? Would be even better if fed by a hi-res A&K DAP I guess (rather than lossy MP3 over CarPlay)?
Cheers for your input. In an OEM integrated car I don’t consider the DRC AC an upgrade. They can be problematic and they complicate the use of the system in comparison to the simple bass controller. Yes, of course, A DAP (not exclusively AK) will outperform any headunit on the OEM market but not every system/client requires so. idrive, just as complicated/clunky but useable and on a different skin.
@@Studioincar I like them but for a young, handsome bachelor it probably sends out the wrong signals regardless of the times coming from one of your fabulous music systems ! But I can appreciate the engineering and the capabilities.

Thank you. We custom make the pillars in-house and then retrim them to suit.
