  • Sig Sauer’s P365XL vs HK’s USP - this one chambered in .45ACP.
Two guns that look dramatically different but I will score them in 7 categories to see which one wins.
    Thanks so much for watching.

35 oz full-sized DA/SA 45ACP vs 21 oz compact striker-fired 9x19. Hmm. I guess they're both autos with manual safeties, and they both have that weirdo rail type I avoid like the plague. I wouldn't compare them, but I can see why you might carry the smaller one and have the larger one for range and home.
A closer SIG for comparison for the USP 45 might be a P220 Legion 45ACP, both in terms of size/weight and price. A closer HK to compare to the P365 XL might be the VP9SKS optic ready.

Yep, HK was one the first DA SA polymer guns (maybe I'm wrong)
And a comparison between this one and a 92fs/P220/cz97B would be interesting too.
But anyway this video was a pleasure to watch.
It's always interesting to see someone love his guns and make a comparison between what he have in his safe

Interesting for sure... My two carry pistols are Beretta 92X RDO Compact & Sig P938 Legion... I could still end up with a P365XL, although I'm currently leaning towards a "all metal" piece that in between those two. Good video.

HK is by far the best gun manufacturer, I have a P30L with over 37,000 rounds true with no mal functions or jams.
It is nothing short of astounding, like all the other HK products I own

That's my next HK. When I bought a P30SK V3, I did what I always do, field strip and clean it making sure to get all the cosmoline out of any new gun. The quality of the machining and the fit and finish were impressive under my ring-light magnifier. Then I loaded up all five (because I buy extra mags of course) 15 round mags with a different load. 115 gr FMJ WWB. 115 gr DoubleTap +P Gold Dots. 147 gr DoubleTap +P flat nose FMJ. Underwood 124 gr +P Nosler JHP. Underwood 68 gr +P Xtreme Defender and drove to the range. I shot them all, aimed fire, not mag dumps, but fairly rapid. No malfunctions. I expected no less from HK, nor should I.
Anyone that says a gun needs "broken in" is either buying poorly-designed guns, or guns made with poor QC, or they're not getting the cosmoline out of them before they shoot them. Guns should just run right with any in-spec load and any type of bullet that conforms to the spec.

"Undefeated in 2 world wars", I assume you mean the .30-06, not the 45ACP? As individual firearms go, handguns don't win or lose wars; rifles do.

You are correct. Rifles win. I probably should not have said it that way. Thanks for watching!

@@TheArkansasGunGuy Well, to be fair, they were along for the ride. In the long run, artillery probably won the first one and bombs/artillery the second. Especially those two bombs.

I would never trust my life to a polymer SIG pistol. An all metal P226, P229, or 1911. YES. Definitely. But not a P365. I'd trust my life to ANY HK da/sa hammer-fired pistol. ANY ONE OF THEM. I own seven. No apologies. In a world of compromise, some don't.

My bro-in-law has a 1st gen M11/P228. Excellent pistol, but wanting a smaller and lighter 9mm, and being sold on SIG because of his M11 and having shot a friend's P226 a lot, he had his eye on a P365X, but with a thumb safety because he said he didn't want to AIWB a striker fired pistol without a manual safety. I said you like DA/SA, you should think about that but smaller than the M11. Get a good small DA/SA and you wouldn't even need the thumb safety to AIWB with that DA trigger first shot. How about a P30SK V3? Nope, too big, too heavy. I sent him some links on the recalls. I hope he didn't buy one.
