Canada Road Trip: BEST Things To Do In ALBERTA, CANADA!

- In this video, we share some of the best things to do in Alberta, including Calgary, Drumheller, Edmonton, Banff, and Jasper!
Welcome to Alberta, Canada!
From boreal forests to vast prairies and high mountain peaks, Alberta is an incredible province to explore. This is Canada's fourth-most populous province and one of only two Canadian provinces that are land-locked. This is also our home province and it was very fun to be able to experience Alberta as part of the Road to 150 travel series.
We rode a gondola to the top of a mountain, walked on a glacier, hiked to various waterfalls, canoed a glacier-fed lake, had fun at the second-largest indoor waterpark in the world, hiked into a canyon, learned about dinosaurs, rode on a steam train, and learned about Canada's star music talent. We also went up into the iconic Calgary Tower, rode the world's largest indoor triple loop rollercoaster, and drove the world-famous Icefields Parkway. We packed a lot of adventures into our short visit and can't wait to explore the province deeper.

Canada's Road to 150 was a 150-day Canada-wide multi-media road trip celebrating Canada's 150th birthday by exploring the uniqueness of this country provincially and collectively while answering the question; What makes Canada special?
We drove to and through every driveable province and territory, showcasing Canada's natural beauty and regional attractions while interviewing Canadians of all cultures and backgrounds, including local celebrities, immigrants, refugees, and everyday rural and urban Canadians. Our aim was to dig deep into what makes Canada such an incredibly inspiring country while showing off the best of Canada's tourism to Canadians and to the world.

Canada looks like heaven. Beautiful relaxing place with breathtaking landscape and nature. I love Canada and its friendly people. I hope I have the chance to visit this great country someday Greetings from the UK xx
I live in Canada! It’s a nice peaceful place and there’s lots to do here! If you ever come to Canada,I hope you’ll like your stay☺️
@@jenniferammirati161 hi
Awesome Canada.. ❤️
Ik right bc I live in canada
Cheers, bud! We'll have open arms when you get here. This is old though though maybe you've made it over by now?
Oh my god, Alberta looks so beautiful and amazing!!
It is :)
It’s such a wonderful place and I’m blessed to live here!
@Chadwicked B Welcome to our beautiful province of Alberta. Just stay out of BC if you put Alberta plates on your car
@Chadwicked B Oil patch is pretty slow. Once the economy picks back up though, you could get a job in oil. But yes there is lots of jobs in the mills, retail, meat industry, maybe even parks canada in Jasper National Park or something, etc. We just spent last week in Jasper, AB came back on sunday and I want to go back! Could live there for good.
@Chadwicked B That means you've never seen the Alberta Rockies? My god man you're missing out.
I am from India. The more I read about Canada more I love Canada.
I have great respect for Canada and the People of Canada
I wish you all the best.
The people of Canda are just amazing
It's my dream to visit Canada one day.
Great to see the videos.
Thanks for sharing.
You guys are amazing.
We will meet soon but God know when. Love you all
This comment is very nice. I live here and take it for granted, thanks.
I love Alberta ..my home 🏡 ..glad to being Albertan
I'm jealous... I'm from stupid Belgium lol
I’m glad to be Albertan to😁
Same it’s so peaceful here
Born in Alberta. Also lived in Ontario and BC. Now a senior. Did my bucket list trip to the Maritimes last summer - before Covid. So fun to go through your videos, because I have been most of these places. So glad I did. I believe every Canadian should see ALL of Canada. You do a good job - but the Badlands do not show well in video - they have to be seen in real life. BUT respect them. NO picking samples, or climbing on them.
How much does it cost to come down to Canada all the way from Nigeria
@@qdscene1265 too much your better off staying home lol
@@qdscene1265 you can do a worldpackers volunteering job, so it wont be that expensive
@@valeriaserey7720 How please kindly explain
Born and raised Edmonton Alberta and I’ve never seen a video that reflected so well in my beautiful home province. Never lived anywhere else love it and I am proud to be a Canadian!.
Thank you! That really means a lot. We'd actually like to do a video for Edmonton but the tourism board is oddly very hard to work with....
can u give me some tips for Alberta
i am here for tour..!
Sure thing! In The mountains the weather is a little more extreme because you are higher up so when it will get either really hot or really cold. there is not really an in between. In Alberta weather is vary unpredictable and random, you would have a nice sunny day and in two minutes it could be poring rain! But there are a lot of things to do is Saskatchewan it is pretty barren but you can expect a bit of wind . I’ve only been to Toronto once and only for a few minutes so I cannot say the weather.
Now as for attractions as of right now many things like the world water park and galaxy land is shut down but you might get something anyway I don’t have time to go on so good luck on your visit!
AJ AY don’t have one sorry?
Just curious, why do you want my information ?
Wooow,, what a rocky mountain right there,, its nice to through up a drone up up up
haha it would be but they are banned in the Rocky Mountain parks. All of them
The videos made by Must to Canada meets all expectations and must deserve a Netflix or Travel channel show because at the end they understand the elements of keeping the viewers engaged till end of each video
Thank you! A Netflix show would be great :)
EDMONTON!!! Thank you so much for highlighting and showing how amazing our city and entire province is.

Special events bc we know where the fun is!
I lived in Banff and I miss it every single day from the last 20 years that I've been away from it
I don't blame you. Such an incredible place. Where did you move to?
We are back in Peterborough Ontario. For now......
Ahhh cool. We're tempted to try out the East, but like Halifax, or Van Island, but it's toigh to leave the rockies
I lived in Banff and Jasper for most of the last 20 years, I now live in BC's Okanagan Valley, near the Rockies' western edge. The nature in the Rockies is fabulous of course, but there are some negatives to living there that visitors do not see, for one, it is hard to make a decent living unless you own or manage a business, or are in a gratuity (tipping) position. Second, you are constantly bombarded by assertive and confident tourists from all over the world staying there for 1 or 2 or 3 days who often seem to think they own the place, and ask all kinds of questions about the people who REALLY do live there, many of those questions being rather silly and sometimes obnoxious, and if you serve those people in the "Guest Services Industry", you still have to be nice to them and not tell them how often arrogant or even occasionally menacing some of them are. One of the most common questions is: "How do you people manage to live here with all those "Ferocious Bears" around" when in reality, I have been threatened more often by "civilized tourists" across hotel front desks than I have been by "wild bears" on mountain trails.
just visited Alberta last week and it is breathtaking.
wooou, after watch this video, I will like to visit Alberta
Come visit! It's our home province. So much to see!
cool rocky moutain, friendly country and kind people👏
Please please please do NOT walk on the hoodoos!!! Or touch them!! Stay on the trails that are marked out for you. So many tourists have destroyed the hoodoos - we are down to only handful because of people just walking wherever they please and scraping at the rock formations. Drives me nuts to see people milling all over the area, ignoring the paths. Let's preserve these amazing rock formations before they get completely destroyed forever!
Ya I was shocked they didn't edit out the footage where she literally pulls a piece off the hoodoo.
who cares!
@@AnthonyMorvillo Um, clearly the individual who raised the concern...
D Y these are the people who care more about rock formations than human lives
I agree with you on your comment.
Awesome video of Alberta. As a proud Albertan, this video does show some its true beauty. Best province in Canada!
Please check out tourism Alberta for more places and things that are available to any vacation.
I hope that you do more video's of all the beautiful provinces. Just so much to see and do while on vacation or visiting friends and family.
For sure, we have an episode now for each province and territory except for Nunavut, which we hope to do sometime soon!

Seems like Alberta is the most beautiful place to visit in Canada!
Us Albertans like to think it is :)
Wow you guys pick amazing spots. Love the train and the lakes WOW
Thanks gilbert! Yeah we try to make it as varied as possible. Still tons of places we missed but those are definitely the highlights :) we had to do good for our home province :)
When ya coming up here?

Alberta Canada is amazing and beautiful. 🤍🇨🇦3k
Alberta dressed in autumn colors, could it be more beautiful?
I know, right :)
I have never seen like beautiful landscapes!
Just watch your video - wonderful
Glad you enjoyed it
If you are in Calgary in the summer - go rafting down the Bow or Elbow river! So much fun and a great way to see the city
Yes 100%! This is the BEST thing to do, only if its 25+ weather though lol
Totally! In fact, we gotta get out there in the next week or so
Lady, your accent is surprisingly pleasing!
haha thanks :)
We saw some on the same places on our pass through earlier in the year. Lake Louise seemed less mobbed in the fall than in May - it was crawling with tourists in spite of ice still being on the ground.
We last visited The Royal Tyrrell Museum in 1986 so we were much impressed with the expansion and development of it.
We have picked up some great ideas from your visit. We will be going back this August when the Bearded Collie National Specialty will be happening along with the big AKC show at Spruce Meadows so we should have some time to cover some of the bits we missed.
Thanks yet again for sharing your experience. It is great that you are doing it while you are young.
Thank you! Spruce Meadows is about 15 minutes from where we live, yet we've never been there for any of the events. We definitely have to check it out some time. Yes, the Royal Tyrrell Museum is pretty incredible. This time we finally took the time to go explore the badlands too. Wonderful place.
Amazing Video. Great clarity, clear voice, good tone and very understandable accent. I only would like to suggest to write the names of the visited places either in the video description or on the screen so we can type them in google map and search for them easily. Thanks 😊
Thank you so much for these delightful episodes!
You're very welcome! :)
very cool and beautiful and fun staff to do. so much cool
and fun staff to do
Thanks!
nice BGM. And wonderfully done!
Your videos should win an award! They are superb!
Thank you so much! We hope so one day :)
YOU DIDNT VISIT MORAINE LAKE! That’s #1 recommended from me :)
haha yeah, we love Moraine lake too (we live in Calgary, so have been many times), but since 2017, it's become so crowded, that you have to take a shuttle to get there. Sucks :(
I want to go there too but I recently hiked to Bow Glacier Falls by Bow Lake. That lake is such a beautiful turquoise, it will take your breath away.
Colleen Owens next time you’re in the area, definitely make your way to Moraine Lake amd Emerald Lake :) much more turquoise than Bow Lake
@@katyoutnabout5943 my husband and I both want to go to Morraine Lake. We will be staying overnight in accommodations there 1 night if we do as it is too far to drive to. Bow Glacier Falls is a long way (over 3 hours) with a few stops. My 17 year old son only wants to go there now to hike.
Just the major tourist spots , they could of got more educated going farther south like fort macloud and buffallo jump ,and writing on stone,
What a place!
I LOVE ALBERTA
Thank you. It's my home province :)
Wow I want to go now!
Go!
Who doesn't want to go

Alberta look awesome and seem like a really nice place ! The nature look so different from the plains and mountains of Quebec !
It's beautiful for sure. Lots of things to do!
Alberta Canada is the very best Province that is second to none! There is so much more than this video could possibly to show. Possibly the best place on the entire planet. Happy Birthday Canada. Proud to be a Canadian!
Amazing, thanks for sharing beautiful video 🙏
I love entire canada and also love Alberta city live.
I Love ❤️ Canada
Really Canada is so beautiful....
Wow Alberta Canada is beautiful 😍
Galaxy land & world water park are so much fun. Nessie’s revenge (the purple water slide in the video) is scary though because the bumps make you bounce up & it feels like your going to fly off the side. Lololol
I'm lucky. I live right in the middle of everything shown in this review...I live in central Alberta
Wonderful place
Nice man. If I'd go live somewhere else it would be Alberta.

Congratulations Canada!

Writing on stone has the best HooDoos in Alberta, definitely worth checking out.
Always wanted to go there. Maybe this year but the campgrounds is always booked
