    Thank you Ashley for taking your rings off before forming the turkey meatballs! I always get weirded out on the show when people handle raw meat with jewelry on (doesn't seem very sanitary, plus it gunks the rings up).
    Can't wait to try the recipe!

    Could you make the meatballs ahead of time and freeze them? This looks super yummy, but with the extra set-up in the fridge time, it's still a little time intensive for my family on a weeknight.

    • @MrCinpro
      @MrCinpro 2 роки тому +3

      I would just make them the night before and put in the fridge. Then all you have to do it start cooking the lemon juice would keep nicely. May want to hold off chopping up the herbs that make the decoration and just cutting enough for the meatballs. Hope you get to try it.

      Nikki I think you definitely could freeze them ahead of time! I never tested that, but I think you could pop them in the fridge to thaw during the day, and then proceed with the recipe as written.

    This is the same way Asian lionhead meatballs are made but they are three times bigger. You can mix up a sauce very easily of soy sauce oyster sauce sesame oil toasted sesame oil, garlic, and sugar. I prefer brown sugar you can add ginger as well if you happen to have it. :-)

    I tried this and thought it came out dry. It needs some kind of sauce, imo. I used basmati rice, which cooks on the quick side. Meatballs were very tender though! Are the meatballs meant to be 1 T exactly? I used a 1T cookie dough scoop, and ended up with more than 20

    Within the last couple weeks, you guys put up a video of Skillet chili with rice, and I swore I saved it to one of my personal folders. It's not in that folder now, and no amount of searching on UA-cam, nor going back through my personal watch history for the past has found it. Would you please either put that video back up, or post a link to that video here? I promise that once I find it, I will remove this comment. I would just vanish like that is beyond me.

    Looks yummy and am interested in trying a vegetarian version? Also, sorry to be picky, but maybe we should tie our hair back when we are cooking and preparing food? I try to do that even at home because who wants a hair on their plate? I don't mean to be critical but during this pandemic I've become more aware of the importance of hygiene!
