  • Here I use a rear 160° mild Hawaiian backhand and aussie 20° forehand with flat being used in the first set and topspin (16:38) in the second. I added in a few reverse dagger grips and serves on the same grips intermittent throughout the warm-up so that it might be a more reflexive stunt in future matches. I used my darker blue 290g racket this time and lose 4-0 4-0 but managed to get in a few deuces and long rallies. I thought my serves improved immensely in this match. I wore luminous yellow so as not to get too addicted to pink! My opponent was named Mikhail Sapozhnikov. I admired the moon in with a dark blue tint in the night sky as if Ireland needed a space exploration program to make me more competitive against foreign athletes! I ate a lot of walnuts beforehand and mused whether a secret minty flavour in the nut could be a psychedelic quality to an otherwise neutral nut as if certain vegetables are only all-or-nothing in how they could outcompete sweets! After hitting a few fast serves I noticed it might have been the high ball speed and not my running that produced a tiny bit blurrier visuals in my first Turkish matches years ago!
