2024 and still listening to this classic. Remember being a teen walking in to Hot Topic when it was the real shit, this song on their speakers and right away buying the CD. Great days!
I was looking for this song (from this video; ua-cam.com/video/g8Nr3RpUE0w/v-deo.html ) but it was listed as 'Fireball Ministry - Daughter of the Damned' in the credits for some reason. Thought you might have been as well
Слушаю эту замечательную группу и мой любимый альбом Confusion Bay, уже как 14 лет подряд, просто заслушал его до дыр и никак не надоедает. Вот это я понимаю, какую качественную раньше музыку делали ребята.🤘😎 P. S. Lars Vognstrup the best vocalist all times!👍
Obviously alot of people failed seeing the point of the video, and few have really commented their views and opnion on the video. So here is mine; I believe what Raunchys idea with this song and video was to depict the society we are living in now, with all the violent and their trying to give us a clue on where all this violence comes from. And you can see how that kids childhood is (he dont have any responsible parents givin him any love when he was a baby and he didnt manage the world outsid
Confusion Bay is one of the albuns most heard in 2005, although meet the band in 2004, hahaha! The vocals of Kasper Thomsen is unique, impossible not to excite with their melodic and growled vocals. Raunchy is a band that deserves a lot more recognition. Hopefully with the new album they can grow more in the scene.
Don't you just love the way he screams your socks off? This video and this song and this band kicks soo much ass! They certainly deserve 5 *'s from me :O)
The Video is about how Psychopaths are made by society. The parents have no feelings, he gets teached by Tv, his only love is taken away from him. he coverts his bad feelings by killing that cat. If he's grown up(or is it that strange looking boy?) he runs amok. therefore he gets Deathpenality. Even now he has no worth for his parents. Raunchy are voices in his head I think^^ They die with him. But maybe I'm all wrong Oo
i had this sing on a metalhammer mix-compilation cd copy and this song was on it. i couldn't find this band anywhere and one day i found them accidentally. BEST SONG!
When Raunchy was really cool!! I loved _Lars Vognstrup_ on vocals. I prefer him over _Kasper Thomsen_ . *Velvet Noise* (2002) and *Confusion Bay* (2004) are their two best and two of my favourite metal albums also.
Damn... Probably a music video with the lowest budget ever... but most powerful and thought provoking ive seen in a long time. It just shows that if the band has a message, they will find a way to get it across, money or not.
It annoys me greatly that Confusion Bay is not on Spotify :( It is in my eyes their greatest album by far. Strange thing is tho, this song was there before. Then it was removed for some reason.
Well... To be quite fair I like most of the bands you guys have mentioned, and Raunchy is my favourite band... But I must say, Avenged Sevefold and Disturbed... Well they may be pretty famous and commercial and whatever, but they still do have some pretty nice songs.
Had other buisness there as well, but when you can find a store such as Fona with a room marked as "Metal" its like entering a candy shop with too little cash to buy everything you really want. And holding the album in your hands and putting it on your shelf is a great feeling, fudge buying it from the internet ;]
The best metal music comes from Scandinavia. Denmark, Sweden, Finland... its the most creative and original shit nowadays. And I'm from South America. We have alot of work to do to catch up. The only thing we are known for is Soulfly and Sepultura.
For anybody who doesn't understand the story, the baby is born. it is frustrated by the fact that the parents do not acknowledge it (1:17). Later, he sees his parents watching something violent. He learns to take out his frustration through violence. He finally gives it a try when the girl with the cat leaves him outside and kills the cat out of rage (2:10). He later continues to take out his rage by killing (2:35). When he is being punished, his parents do not arrive because they are deadbeats.
It's about apathetic & neglectful parenting in our impersonal modern society: How starving a child of love & attention can frustrate their up bringing & alienate their outlook on relationships. It's an ode to the turmoils of Gen Y.
2024 and still listening to this classic. Remember being a teen walking in to Hot Topic when it was the real shit, this song on their speakers and right away buying the CD. Great days!
it even doesnt just sound as good anymore. Everybody over produces and it sounds like shit
Man, the visuals in this video look so simple. But they really frighten me and make me quite sad. Very well done.
I was shocked by the cat part
A few years back I was searching for this song all over the place. Now I found it on accident and I still love it. Awesome!
From a Vurtne PVP video???
What?!

This Song is so badass. Every time when I feel bad, I let it fly.
I love this song and this video.

One of the best videos I ever saw! Not just senseless shit like most of the others are.
Raunchy is a magnet band for great vocalists - each of those 3 guys have very distinct and great voice!
Great song and awesome video - the story it tells is very sad but very true. Does anyone know who did the drawings? He did a really great job.
one of my favourite videos ever...
saw them yesterday live... AMAZING!!!
Takes me back to monsters of metal part 2
This music video makes me shiver!

+Diogo Batista Kasper is not singing on Confusion Bay though. He's on Death Pop Romance, Wasteland Discotheque and A Discord Electric
I blew it, hahaha! Who sings is Lars
And funny thing, Kasper already left the band too!
Mike Semesky is doing a pretty great job though.
Eichro I did not know that , but I will check How did Mike.
+Diogo Batista i saw Raunchy last thursday! THEY ROCK!!! :D By the way... I'm a fan since 2002 ;)
This band absolutely blows up In Flames, late Soilwork or Mnemic. Most under-rated band ever
They're on par with late mnemic
Mnemic mnemesis is probably somewhat better
Raunchy and Mnemic are both unique. In Flames and Soilwork are very much sold out on complete commercialism.
Amazing song and amazing video with some actual meaning 🤟
I muzyka i video....ostro jedżie po jaźni!.....Naprawdę poruszające nerwy i uczucia!Great!....
Don't you just love the way he screams your socks off? This video and this song and this band kicks soo much ass! They certainly deserve 5 *'s from me :O)
THIS VIDEO HAS NOT BEEN MORE RELEVANT THAN NOW

It annoys me greatly that Confusion Bay is not on Spotify :(
It is in my eyes their greatest album by far.
Strange thing is tho, this song was there before. Then it was removed for some reason.
+Warlordnazdreg Confusion Bay was published by Nuclear Blast, which may be the reason behind it.

Watching something violent? That TV looked blank, I think the point was just to show how they were mesmerized by the TV neglecting the child
AWSOME song great danish band
i like the message in this song
This is what happens when extreme cases of neglection occurs. Wich is the moral of the video, this goes much deeper than you would think.
the best!
This is song of my childhood.
