I remember being a 19 year old boy, walking around in NYC listening this album when it dropped. I can't belive it's been over 10 years since then. This song sure takes me back.
Call it liberation or frustration, As it hits like a bomb Tearing you apart as you're first in line, Entering the zone Watch how it runs, a nervewrecking resistance Watch how it burns, a venomous script's getting formed You've travelled a long way to get here And now it's waking you up Walk straight for a final solution Walk straight, don't you be so cold Walk straight with clear resolution I'll state my case and make it turn Watch how it runs, watch how it burns And it's all a deception Break it and learn, there's no return For a presence like mine It's getting all clear now, all the things I know An elapse of conscious progress will My courageous insanity follows an infinite time I'll be attaching the world On my shoulders Without a look Inside Walk straight for a final solution Walk straight, don't you be so cold Walk straight with clear resolution I'll state my case and make it turn
Man I was 24 when I saw these guys live, can't believe how time passes so fast. Soilwork is a band that still resonates and sounds new no matter how much I play it. Just awesome metal that is timeless
2005 and 2006. When Come Clarity (In Flames) and Stabbing The Drama (Soilwork) were released. For like two years, these two albums were all I listened.
I love that you still have this video up!!!! i came across this video 15 years ago when you added it. I was looking for something else and came across this changed my world
I remember this whole album from start to finish, dont know how many times i listened to it laying in bed with my headphones on, wore my CD to the point of been unreadable, only 2 albums have achieved that, KoRn - Follow The Leader and Serpent - Cradle of Insanity. Perfection.
I still cannot believe how fucking amazing that album was..I mean for me the best is/was A Predator's Portrait, but after listening to The Ride Majestic over 100 times now :) I am not so sure anymore :)
Even though I loved Henri Rantaa, gotta love what Dirk Verbeuren brings to the drums on the newer Soilwork albums. It blends right in the mix, it's interesting and creative. Can't wait for the next piece to come out!
I remeber when my brother gave me a CD of figure number five on release, the first ever track that i heard was crancking the sirens, now im on 2021, still listening to these legends
my older brother surprised me with this album on my birthday when this released. we both grew up on slipknot and inflames and soilwork and he knew these guys where my favorite band at the time. at least until I found the album come clarity by inflames a few years later.
What a fucking banger of a track! Goddamn. I don't usually like clean vocals, but when men still sound like men when they sing clean, it works. So well!
After listening to Disarmonia Mundi for a long time and seeing the comments about them having the vocalist from soilwork, i finally decided to listen to them. I am not dissapointed.
In Flames will always be one of the greatest no matter what changes they decided on after Come Clarity. But for being a 25 year old band it's still pretty amazing they are still around. Hell a lot of these bands are still doing incredible after 20 years. Dark Tranquility and Dimmu Borgir are still making great shit.
this song is so great! words cant describe how well it goes with any situation, good or bad. This song has a very deep meaning to me and i wouldn't have it any other way, this band has great talent!!! EDIT: If you like this band you guys should check out the band "Disarmonia Mundi" the lead singer is the same lead singer from Soilwork
+Leandro Cabrera I noticed that. And this song sobers you as fuck , dayum. 'What have I become?' 'What has become with that little kid inside me?' 'How many people loves me? Or how much I love?'. Sorry if this post sounds gay to you all , but I dont care. Im somehow broken right now.
Wally Actually I was writing that comment when I felt powerless cause of cumulating stress (im at studies , and session of exams starts to devour my time and energy very quick). Especially I'm torn between letting go of them or keeping up , and I'm kind of those people who overthinks everything. Also in those worse times you think of those you love , of your dreams and what you doing with gift of life. Without people which keeps me there showing me that Im more than my imperfections I would say I waste that gift.
Soilworks never get the credit they deserve. Think they are one of the best song writers in all of Metal. So many good Albums but Figure Number five is a masterpiece. My favorite with Natural Born Chaos and The living infinite.
great video and song. They are one of my favorite bands. Speed is even better looking in real life. I have seen them 3 times and they put on one of the best live shows ever! Rock on.
I miss the female voice that says: "You're listening to "Nerve" from Soilworks fourth coming album "Stabbing the Drama". If someone still listening to it and got this version, pls let me know!
1. Leave your house. 2. Go to your local recordstore. 3. Buy the CD. Let's support the musicians who's spending all they're time travelling on tours, leaving families and friends waiting at home.
#Soilwork- "Nerve" ...they call it Melodic Death Metal, but it sounds more like Metalcore with keyboards to me. Just my opinion. Needless to say, I like it! > sj~13
Man sometimes you go so long without hearing a band you forget how good they are. This holds up like no other. 17 years? Just crazy.
Just came here to say the same thing brotha.. This whole album is timeless
This came up on my playlist and had to come say the same thing 🤘🤘 been a fan of Soilwork since like 2004, such an underrated band
Soilwork never disappoints.
"You're listening to the song Nerve, from Soilwork's forthcoming album, Stabbing the Drama"
Deniz Can Karaca
ahh yes, the good old days of illegally downloading songs.
Hahaha downloaded by e mule or ares
Almost sounds weird without it
Missing that part haha
lol childhood
I remember being a 19 year old boy, walking around in NYC listening this album when it dropped. I can't belive it's been over 10 years since then. This song sure takes me back.
Heard it in highschool. Was my anthem going thru that time.
Same feeling but Hamilton, ON :P
did you get out of NYC at least?
I heard about em in NYC as well(The Bronx) on Headbangers Ball and WSOU radio from Jersey
I did the same thing but in Boston
Soilwork is a masterpiece of a band
The quality of this album really can’t be over stated, it’s just flat out incredibly well put together.
This song is comfort and strength. Always present during adversities and transitions. Keep Moving on.
First song I heard from this band. A big fan ever since.
I was today old when I heard (of) this band.. this song.. good introduction.
@@Emhartain nice one!
Possibly one of the best mixed metal albums of time. I love the way everything sounds on this album.
the drummer is insane . Great music
He's Megadeth's drummer now.
Dirk Verbe.... I can't spell it 😂
this whole album was legendary, i never skipped any tracks
just left that shit on repeat
I hate this.
This was my first soilwork track.. they’ve gotten better and better and are without question one of the best metal bands ever
2:30 One of my favourite Peter solos
Best metalband there is! this song live was the best live-performance i´ve ever been to !!!
Hard to believe this song is this old. Horns up still banging!!!
Call it liberation or frustration,
As it hits like a bomb
Tearing you apart as you're first in line,
Entering the zone
Watch how it runs, a nervewrecking resistance
Watch how it burns, a venomous script's getting formed
You've travelled a long way to get here
And now it's waking you up
Walk straight for a final solution
Walk straight, don't you be so cold
Walk straight with clear resolution
I'll state my case and make it turn
Watch how it runs, watch how it burns
And it's all a deception
Break it and learn, there's no return
For a presence like mine
It's getting all clear now, all the things I know
An elapse of conscious progress will
My courageous insanity follows an infinite time
I'll be attaching the world
On my shoulders
Without a look
Inside
Walk straight for a final solution
Walk straight, don't you be so cold
Walk straight with clear resolution
I'll state my case and make it turn
WRONG LYRICS DUDE
Metal like this is the true diplay of talent and power, rock on!
Who's still listening in January 2021?!

It's a perfect album! I always go back to this and natural born chaos! Im glad they are still around but this line up can't be touched
Man I was 24 when I saw these guys live, can't believe how time passes so fast. Soilwork is a band that still resonates and sounds new no matter how much I play it. Just awesome metal that is timeless
That intro is just awesome...
It's one of my fav songs from one of the best albums ever. These melodies, the energy, good headbanging... Brilliant! 🎶😍
How am I not going to cheer up with this?? I can't resist. Long live Soilwork. lml
Listen to predators portrait great album dont get me wrong this album is the best one but the other is amazing as well
I love the mix of screaming and singing. Bjorn is a frickin' genious in my opinion.
Every song from Soil Work is awsome. man what a damn good band!
2005 and 2006. When Come Clarity (In Flames) and Stabbing The Drama (Soilwork) were released. For like two years, these two albums were all I listened.
This was the breaking point in Finland, when this band really kicked in 2005. Although some thought it was too well produced, like always.
Its difficult choosing the best out of all their albums. I just listend to their discography and every single album is amazing
one of their best albums
I love that you still have this video up!!!! i came across this video 15 years ago when you added it. I was looking for something else and came across this changed my world
similar story , bro :D
Perfect amount of screaming to singing.
amazing voice. interesting how the second chorus comes after the bridge/solo. great song
that guitar effect at the introduction..that remind me when I randomly play with my line 6 pod
I remember this whole album from start to finish, dont know how many times i listened to it laying in bed with my headphones on, wore my CD to the point of been unreadable, only 2 albums have achieved that, KoRn - Follow The Leader and Serpent - Cradle of Insanity. Perfection.
2022... This song still burns and invokes my nerves 🤘🔥🤘
I was 19 years old on my first deployment to Iraq when I first heard this gem. The rest is history.
12 years later and their fuckin better than ever!! The Ride MAJESTIIIIIC!!
I still cannot believe how fucking amazing that album was..I mean for me the best is/was A Predator's Portrait, but after listening to The Ride Majestic over 100 times now :) I am not so sure anymore :)

I don't usually like clean vocals, but when men still sound like men when they sing clean, it works. So well!
Love this song.
After listening to Disarmonia Mundi for a long time and seeing the comments about them having the vocalist from soilwork, i finally decided to listen to them. I am not dissapointed.
Soilwork and in flames just to fkn great
We dont talk about in flames in this house...

I love this band! Became a fan of them at a dark, dark time of my life though.. kinda haunts me, but gives me confidence for the future!
Thank God we still have Soilwork, DT... because In Flames is dead.
so true lol
In Flames will always be one of the greatest no matter what changes they decided on after Come Clarity. But for being a 25 year old band it's still pretty amazing they are still around. Hell a lot of these bands are still doing incredible after 20 years. Dark Tranquility and Dimmu Borgir are still making great shit.

One of their best songs
"You've traveled a long way to get here..."
Soilworks never get the credit they deserve. Think they are one of the best song writers in all of Metal. So many good Albums but Figure Number five is a masterpiece. My favorite with Natural Born Chaos and The living infinite.
Nothing against vocals or lyrics but I could listen to this one instrumental
The groove is sick.

Always liked Soilwork more then In Flames. Just a more well rounded band & better vocals too.
Damn I’ve been listening to metal for a long ass time!
10 years? This was released in 2004. UA-cam wasn't active until late 2005...
Lol videos actually existed before UA-cam
Lol videos actually existed before UA-cam
Hence my point it's more than 10 years old.
First song I heard of theirs, 6 years ago, now a dedicated fan. LOVE PANIC BROADCAST
The video is definitely not "with a clear resolution" 😂😂😂😂😂

How can one simply "forget" greatness?
Fucking LOVE this song =)
+Gary g Epic song for sure
Peter Wichers became my greatest influence, together with Buckethead, what a fantastic guitar player
#Soilwork- "Nerve" ...they call it Melodic Death Metal, but it sounds more like Metalcore with keyboards to me. Just my opinion. Needless to say, I like it! > sj~13
There isn't any core sound in this song though
yes, this is pure metalcore
Wow time flies I still love this track ....
Before Bleed
10x easier than bleed
theycallmechris0
Dirk could do bleed if he wanted to :)
