Premo is one of the best hip hop producers of all time. On top of that he knows and remembers his history and been around since the 80s says a lot for his legend status!!!!

I remember cause I was buying 12”s heavy during this time. Plus this beat is his 93/94 style. He wasn’t doing beats like this too much in 95 aside from the Group Home stuff.
