I SAW A TWO TONE PISTOL.It was an old one because it said pat.pending on the slide. It had an alloy frame and a chrome slide, barrel, hammer, magazine release button.
I got one of these as a gift and I find it to be a nice little piece for my (small) collection. .25 ammo isn't cheap, but I'd trust it over .22 for EDC purposes. I've noticed that mine has had issues with stove-pipe jamming and more so light primer strikes, but with a cheap firing pin swap that should be straight. Good gun for little money.
A company called Heritage Arms also sold these little fellows. However its hard to find info on them under that name, so if you know someone who owns one with Heritage markings, tell them its the same as these, as its much easier to find parts for them.
they do in fact make two tone .. you can google image it .. mine is black frame white grips with silver /stainless slide .. i loves these small guns !!! :)
just purchased a GT380. After last round is fired, the slide presses hard against the rear of the follower. so hard in fact,... This jams the mag and will not release. I must push follower down thru gun until the slide is able to travel forward and free the mag. Is this how the gun is designed? If so, how do you add a mag. with the slide locked rear?// many thanks, does yours work this way??
The reason there are two separate numbers - one on frame and another on the slide - is because gun parts could be sent to the US of A but a complete gun could not. So, The mfg in Florida could make the frame which had to have numbers for Fed Regs, and all the other Italian parts were sent with Regs and numbers for the slides. ( In a nutshell)
The problems mentioned by Mr. Swain are probably due to old springs. Wolff carries both recoil and firing pin springs for this pistol. Swap them out, as I did before trying my GT27 and you'll probably find it to be as fine and reliable a mouse gun as mine.
I have had a couple of these and they both refused to feed properly. Not a feed ramp issue but the magazine itself. The mag follower is at not steep enough angle and the lips are misshaped
I acquired one of these and being a fan of transfer bar systems, I'm curious as to what the best way to carry this gun. Is one in the chamber un cocked safe enough? Its a novice question, but i haven't seen a lot of info for this gun
I have the same gun how I carry mine is I rack on in the chamber on safety with the hammer back just in case I have to put it on fire to shoot it.very nice little pistol to have
Polish the feed ramp-it will amaze you how great it feeds hornady hollow points. My friend had one, once I polished the feed ramp it just gobbled up hollowpoints. The feed ramps are very steep so it hinders feeding.Tripple K mags are not that good to me.If these magazines had a metal floor plate they would be more durable.Im selling a set of grips now off the pistol I worked on-on ebay now.
I thought mine didn't work either but come to find out mine has a massive trigger pull I had to REALLY squeeze HARD to get it to fire I just thought I'd let you know that I know it may sound like a bone head answer but I never had a gun with that type of trigger pressure and thought it wouldn't shoot and thought it could possibly your issue to if not sorry to mention it LoL
I inherited my grandfather's Tangfoglio Giuseppe 25 ACP. Anybody know where to buy magazines? Also just a heads-up about the done Italian craftsmanship: As soon as I got it home from my FFL, one finger was all it took to break the fucking Magazine release lever. Piece of shit. Probably going to cost an arm and a leg
I have one i've had now for 40 years. Has always worked great.
I have one just like it for at least 20 years. Great little gun
I bought my Tanfoglio GT27 25acp in 1985 still have it great little conceal gun and always worked.

The excam gt-27 that i have is the same just with darker woodgrain on the grips.
This gun looks identical to the Heritage 25 ACP, any relationship between the two?
In addition, mine is a two tone with mismatched serials as well.
Thanks, just picked one of these up myself, how's yours shoot? Gonna try it out at the range next weekend.
i have the fie titan great little guns
i got the same gun from my uncle that pasted away,,mine is made in italy,is this a quality gun or a crappy thing?

hey bud, so if I have the exact gun, what exactly do I need to "look up" to find a clip for it.?
clips are easy to find ebay
Check out numrich. If you find fie titan mags they will fit as well and I think one other gun that's just the same.

Two years ago and nobody answered.
Keeping one in the chamber with the hammer down - un cocked - is safe for this little pistol.
