Put the little gun on "safe" and squeeze the trigger half way. This will disengage the spring mechanism in the magazine and allow it to pull free without force. :-)
Hey I know your comment is really old, but my trigger on the rg3 doesnt come back on it's own, I have to pull it back into place if I want to be able to fire again. Is this a simple fix or should I just return it? Happy New Year
Correction Gun Nerd. The thing that pops out the front @ 3.17m, has a real purpose. Pull it out, and pull the trigger several times and the magazine will exit out back without firing the blanks.
How loud are the blanks? Does it sound like a real gun? Also does the muzzle flash come out the front of the barrel or the side holes(I guess you would call it side-venting)? Thanks!
I have one of these with a German name on it and a little engraved boat on the side. Any idea on if that's a pre 1939 era? Or price? I have all parts and clean but no box. Thank you for your post. Didn't know how to eject blank feeder until your vid.
I have the RG3 made in Germany but the box it is in is from another gun made in USA called a LORGIN L25BG. Is that not the box it should be in? Where can I purchase the blanks to fit the RG3 ROHM made in Germany?
I have one of those It was my Dad's This one needs a cleaning also.. But I was wondering where can I get the blanks. And what are these guns worth? 6mm?
I have one lying around somewhere. Have't used it in a while. Mine is newer. You have an older version, I imagine that your model is rare thesedays. Keep it well as it is a lovely collectors item (:
I have a RG4. Looking for information on it but only see the RG3 listed on Wikipedia and no oother info o photos of mine. Bought it at an auction. Thought it was some kinda pellet gun until I found this video.
The rg4 is the ..starter pistol..(gas vents from the top) of the rg5 (the rg5 is the gas pistol version gas vents trough the barrel) there is also an rg4s it takes a flare adapter to the top vent and can shoot signal and firework shells (7mm 9mm and 15mm) there both work like this on (Gerstenberger Eberwein Patent) Greetings from Germany
How do you remove a fully loaded magazine without firing off the blanks? What is the purpose of the switch next to the trigger on the left in front of the safety???
I found a Mondial Mod 1949 6mm Blank Pistol outside many years ago and now I would like to try to shoot it. The only problem is that the trigger is very hard to pull so I wonder if you have any tips on how I can fix it?
Clean it’s mechanical parts and Put the magazine in the right way.. the little stell ball should be on the right side of the gun... by the way it has a screw on the bottom of the grip to adjust the trigger pull
AAAAARRGGGHHHH..... what are you doing to that poor little magatzine in the video ? ;-) If you want to get the magazine out, just put the safety lever on "E" (for empty) and keep pulling the trigger until the magazine has fully re-emerged at the back end of the pistol. Then you can easily pull it out without having to use much physical force. The RG3 (and its bigger sibling, the RG300) shoot gas, signal and blank cartridges, and when a shot is fired, there's actually a lot of gas coming out at the muzzle. You don't want to put your finger or your eye or something else you care about right in front of the barrel when the trigger is pullled, so it CAN actually be somewhat useful in a self-defense situation at very close range. Röhm belongs to the Umarex Corporation these days, but they continue to produce the RG3 and the RG300. In fact, both models continue to sell very well. Cheers

on my RG3 Bought around 1953 in the UK, that fold out pin on the trigger guard permits my magazine to be withdrawn forward to unload.

I used to have a version of this starting pistol as a child in England. It was made/marketed as a Webley. Hours of fun in the garden!
Its a starter gun for sport events, it does however also fire teargas
An AngrryWalrus The gun was mde as a starter gun for sports events like swimming, it can shoot blanks, teargas or signal flairs.
I own an identical item in all black but it's got a Thalson logo where yours has Rohm. I wonder who the actual maker was.
I've got one identical to yours... No idea - inherited it....
Is not loud as 9mm ammo. And this gun is front fire and you can use it for flares with flare adapter. This RG3 must be old.

I have one also, it can also shoot tear gas bullets. Doesn't it look like the old 32cal

Used to have one I'd fire to call the dogs back when they'd often go out for miles along the beach.
I have one of those
It was my Dad's
This one needs a cleaning also..
But I was wondering where can I get the blanks.

6mm?
great gun, but is there any way to make the trigger less hard to activate (you kind of have to pull it COMPLETELY, for it to shoot)

They can be bought just about anywhere
Where did you buy the bullets
How do I get the mag out? Is loaded but I don't wanna shoot it...
It looks really nice.
They still make this RG3, and i can fire flares with RG3. How old is that one?

The middle switch will eject without firing as you pull the trigger, however always treat it as though it will fire
where did you order this from?
Good video. I own one. It's ok I guess to collect.
My grandpa has an old rohm rg2🙂
Hab seit heute auch eine! !

Es de Salva?🤔
how much are those worth i found one but i want to make sure he is not puting a too high price on it
new ones are about a hundred bucks
I have one like that but mine is older and that thing u don't know about is on the handle of mine
Does the sound wave or gas emission inflict some damage from point blank range?
is it a flare gun?
YES
it has rohm and rg3 on em

This is an older RG-3 - no "E" position, just safe and fire.
Tengo una pistola como esta alguien me puede ayudar en que precio la puedo vender gracias
Tengo una rg3 original cuenta con manual de usuario aleman ingles frances y español.
Orginal vintage 70s 80s no lo se, cal. 6 mm 6 tiros
How much was that
U want to bye one for $60
You are incorrect about your blank gun. It also fires FLARES. I own one.
The UK legal ones are top venting and don't have a flare adapter on the end of the barrel.
The ones we own are legal and used for boating/hiking applications. Cheers! Stay Safe, Stay Healthy
Rg3 runs then pistol offense
I thought it is a 6mm flobert gun ;p
I don't understand the purpose of a gun like this. I can get blanks for just about any pistol I own, but still have a useful firearm.
I am wrong in my comments. my apologies.
its not rohm
fake
Wrong it is a Röhm - RG-2 and RG-3 (and possibly RG-4) are virtually identical blank guns styled after .25 semi-auto pocket pistols...
