I’m having a similar surgery (but more complex than yours) in 2 months and appreciate this info because I’m very anxious about the entire ordeal.
I’m so glad it’s helpful! I have a video coming up with tips I wish I’d known that should be really helpful. Major things: have a donut cushion to sit on (I know some of these surgeries are abdominal, so that obviously doesn’t apply if that’s the case.) And ask for stronger pain meds. I was only given ibuprofen and that was really not enough for the first 2 days.
