I highly recommend taking the brewery tour next time. Even if you’re not a big beer drinker, it’s fascinating to learn how it’s made. Combine that with the tour at Ocean Distillery and a tasting at MauiWine for the alcohol connoisseur :) Probably not all on the same day though.

Aloha and Thank You. Hardly "normal" as I never hear that word used on West Maui. We lost over 100 restaurants, and art galleries and the "soul" of Maui that will never be replaced. We're now 7 1/2 months in a hotel with several thousand others -- not "normal" for us. Best Wishes.

Aloha and Thanks as it's always good to see you here. Affordable in Kihei? I really can not think of a place. There's so much going on that it's truly hard to know from one day-to-the-next. So many residents, like us, are moving around a bit looking for housing. It'll take some "digging" on the Internet. I wish you the very best and thank you for coming to Maui.
