Yes, if the husband is going to be there during business hours. When she applies, she still needs to do a background check on him as if he is an employee if he is living there, and licensing will do a risk assessment on him and tell her what to do next regarding the situation.

I'm glad you ask! No, that is not correct, you just have to have 2 years of experience working in a childcare center, licensed/registered home, or working with children directly (like in a school). You don't have to have previous administrator experience; however, you do have to meet certain educational qualifications.

Texas Childcare Licensing would still require you to go through the application process. Depending on the certificates, they may count towards your professional development or education requirements.
Yes, you can. The only way having CPS called on you will conflict with getting licensed is if they found that you were abusing or neglecting a child in your care. Merely having someone call and the allegation being ruled out is not enough to hinder your licensing progress.
You must have at least 1 year of experience in childcare if you have a childcare degree from a college and have at least two years with a high school education and an administrator's certificate.

If you want to be a listed family home which process do you go through?
Are you sure you just want to be listed? Being listed means you can only keep 1 child at a time.

Yes, you can but it depends on your lease agreement. Licensing does not control or even check for that.
