Hi Ellie! Such a great question and a need. Yes! You can definitely get a business loan to start this. I would suggest a microloan of some sort if you don't want to dip too much into savings, and there are other options such as partnering with local employers to obtain funding as well. Hi Latisha! Great Question. Alot of people will go this route, but it can be challenging to get a Landlord to approve a daycare operation in their home. If you can't afford a commercial property, there are so many other methods to still be able to get into a commercial property that is available. How can you get more than the required 6 kids starting from home? 6 kids is not enough for a lucrative income...in my state with home childcare the max number of kids you can have is 6.
