Not sure if you're aware, but at the 1:45 mark it shows that the Dell is set to 'FPS' under preset modes... that mode is basically a blue light filter mode which gives off a yellowish hue, less vibrant colors and light blacks. I have the Dell monitor, and if you switch it to 'standard' preset the image is just as good as the Gigabyte.
Exactly, either the person doing this comparison doesn't know what he's doing, or it was made on purpose for the dumb folks to think Gigabyte is better) In fact, Dell's better, did this comparison in real life.
Thx for the review. i WAS seriously considering the Dell BUT noticed your negative comment regarding when you set brightness on high it becomes a white glow that kills the screen quality and colors along with bad viewing angles. Dell is having a sale on this G3223D for 350 with 150 Dell eGift card free. The Gigabytes M32Qs colors and details seem more rich, full and vibrant. Do you think this might be because the Dell has a lower 2560x1440 compared to the Gigabytes true 4k resolution? Could I get your opinion if you believe the extra 150 minus missing out on the 150 Dell gift card is worth going with the Gigabyte over Dell?
Totaly Gigabyte is better Monitor because of better Color, better Viewangle and integrated KVM Switch. a KVM Switch With HDMI is about 50$.but its not means Dell is a bad monitor; between these 2 Monitors I recommend Gigabyte for Gaming and Home usage, and Dell is great for Office.
amazing review! you hit everything i was looking in a comparison of these two, definitely earned my sub...i may have to spend the extra on the m32q for my racing sim set up..buy once and cry once, right? hah
Thanks for posting this I'm trying to decide on a monitor for gaming and editing pictures look amazing on the gigabyte but can't find it for sale in the uk apart from expensive second hand ones any suggestions for alternative similar size thanks.
You‘re welcome, I have 2 recommendations. I recommend to choose by attending to your usage priorities. If Gaming is more Important for you, i Recommend: MSI Monitor TFT OPTIX MAG321QRDE If Photo editing is your first priority, i recommend: ASUS ProArt PA328QV The colors are more accurate in Asus Pro art but, refresh rate is 75Hz that isn’t good for gaming.
I think Colors are sharper and more saturated in M28U, and more Natural on Dell. Yes i think between these 2 Monitors for Graphic Designers Dell is better
@@podlium Yes, the vignette effect is almost not noticeable after turning on UC. But the brightness will be reduced and the contrast will be worse. Gamma will also increase and need to be reduced.
Если бабки есть бери 4к - Dell G3223Q - я по жлобился думал и 2к хватит и пожалел потом ... Притензий нет к цветам и режимов куча но вот размер пикселя 91 ppi
1:45 Who are you trying to fool?) Gigabyte is in Standrad mode, while Dell is in FPS mode. Put both of them in standard and record a while, smart guy.

The author has an FPS preset in the Dell settings, and it yellows the picture a lot, if you choose the standard preset, then white will be white.

Which one is better for gaming? I can't believe this amazing video. I was just about choosing one of them for my Xbox. Thanks!
For gaming I recommend Gigabyte M32Q, because colors are Sharper and more saturated
There is also fi32q from aorus, it has same pannel like m32q but with better quality control
Me gusta 👍 muchísimo más el monitor Dell, por su claridad y creó que regulando sus colores se vería mucho mejor.

I am a designer. I also have a PS5 console. Is a Dell monitor a better option for me?

Hi, can you take a photo when the screen has a white background on dell g3223d? This is very important to me, please.
I have seen it its not true white. It has warm white to it
Does your Dell monitor have darkening near the edges (vignetting)?
Yes, like another IPS LED Panels
Have you tried "Uniformity Compensation" in settings? Does it help?

This gigabyte is a mess on 8bit, the other one carries 10bit color
I can’t find this gigabyte in Ukraine, I’ll have to look towards Dell
👍 I hope this damn war will end soon in your country
