I love that he was genuinely perplexed by Kobe’s change of pace. It’s like Kobe’s clutch factor gave him the same feeling as whiplash from an unexpected slap
Yeah Kobe Bryant had a presence about himself and he commanded respect natural. There was a reason why so many called him an alpha male, he just was that guy.
I love his basketball intelligence, when he was talking about Melo he really understands how different players have to change their game to enhance each other. Loved his talk about the media bs around Melo too. F the media.
He should still be in the league. Before the ACL tear injury, he was a great athlete and a good defender. After the injury, he was still a good role player. He hit a big shot in Game 7 against the Warriors in the 2016 Finals. The Knicks won that game he was talking about. It was during Linsanity. But Kobe was ridiculous in the fourth quarter.
Watched this multiple times already. Love the fact he’s down to earth, intelligent and can actually go back and forth and not just high. Love that he goes in depth. Best interview I’ve seen.
I used to hoop with Shump at GT.. If they gave him the same green light that they give others he would be seen as more of a great.. He was always a rhythm scorer... Decent with 5 shots, GODLY with 12... When he heats up, he's damn near unguardable
FnIggnent there’s a lot of guys like that in the nba. If there was a nba pickup game, it would be a team full of random players to win it. Their are a few guys that are just supremely talented, but aside from them nba is all about roles
FnIggnent finally someone yelling it as it is. Shump really used to cross Niggas up and wasn’t scared to take any type of shot. Problem was he was getting so few touches they just wanted him to defend and hit open 3’s smh
Bro I had zero clue how down to earth this man is 😭 and I’ve been a knicks fan since I found out what basketball was ( unfortunately) I’m definitely gonna listen to his album when it drops 🥇🔥🐐

I think he goes to Brooklyn again. Kyrie and Shumpert have a good relationship it seems. I don't see that KD wouldnt mind him coming off the bench.
Broderick Simpson That 4 point play in game 7 always gets overlooked. Just as important as the Shot/Block/Stop.
