@@nesgimp6099 You're welcome, and good luck! I think you'll do just fine 👌 Glad you found the video helpful, that's what I'm here for. I have a Facebook page @ Stampf_Gaming where you can post pictures of your project as well.
@@rstampf Dude I just bought a 1500mAh from RGRS for the GBA it comes with the board glued on the top. I just did minor cuts and use a light dremel on a crappy shell. It is literally the perfect fit. I really feel like this might be the way if I can find a way to get the USB-C mounted on the bottom. I just really didn't want to cut the entire battery compartment open but I will have to see when i can get it all put together. will post pics when I am done.
Well I've got everything in place. But when I solder in the battery wires the tp4056 board just goes to scorching hot and idk why. Any ideas? I'm stuck now no boot or anything
This definitely shows where to cut. I'm sorry you're having a hard time following. Take another shot here www.retromodding.com/blogs/tutorials/game-boy-color-ips-lcd-installation-guide

I’m a few years late but what ips screen is this? The link in your description shows up as 404
Was the Pokémon Gameboy part of the kit you bought or did you just switch to one you had?
Just switched to one I had. You can still order them on ebay as well.
@@rstampf thanks for the answer. I’m just trying to muster my courage and do a screen swap as well your video was very helpful.

Could you add the same battery mod and battery (3.7 1000mAh)from your pocket video to the color using the same TP4056 pcb?
Yes you can. You'll have more room to work with as well! Definitely post pics when done 🤙

Looking for a video to show where to cut and this doesn’t show because your not explaining where to cut and the video is on fast forward doesn’t help
