HOW TO ROLL 35+ TIMES! - Live Craps Game #39 - Palms Casino, Las Vegas, NV - Inside the Casino

- Here's an EPIC live craps game from the Palms Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. The player rolling the dice is Joe R. (aka "Big Shot"). He is a subscriber to my channel and in some of the Dice groups on Facebook. When I told him I had just recorded his roll, he was really surprised and excited, and subsequently gave me permission to tell his story. Through our face to face at the casino and messages on Facebook, the following is the story of his EPIC 50 minute roll....
Joe and his friend (in the yellow shirt) were on vacation and hitting a number of casinos around Vegas and Laughlin. By the time I got to the table and started recording, Joe had been rolling the dice for about 25-30 minutes.
His starting bankroll that evening was $1,000. But, by the time the dice came to him this time around, he was down to his last $100. He went all in, including $10/$10/$10 on the ATS. His normal initial bet is $78 or 81 across with $50 in odds on the point. But, now he had something less than the norm to work with.
As he rolled, he would press then collect on each hit, sometimes collecting two times. He says he was fairly conservative with his pressing and not parlaying, as he was in recovery mode. His 6 & 8 where only at $300 each. The example he gave me of his aggressive pressing was $18, 30, 66, 150, 180, 420, 900, 1800, 4200, 60000, which he says he would have been able to achieve on this roll. Any heavy betters at the table, which there was not, would have made a small fortune.
He said the table had a bouncy surface and lively pyramid rubber, which caused him to struggle at first. The rails were quite high for a big guy like him, so he employed a two-finger overhand grip (2 middle, plus thumb) and tossed into the hook. He settled in on an all-7 set (mostly 6/4 1/3 and 6/5 1/2 depending on the point.)
He tossed the dice for a total of about 45-60 times during his turn (I managed to capture 34 on video), and hit the ATS once (not in the video) during that time. In all, he hit about 8-12 points.
When it was all said and done, he colored up with $7,000, and held the dice the entire time from that $100 low to $7,000. Of course, he tipped the dealers about $200.
As for his friend, whom we can see pressing hard in the foreground, he bought in for $500 and colored-up at around $5,000. His initial bet was either $78 or 81 across. Got 6 & 8 up to $120 each, 5 & 9 up to $100, and 10 to $150 before regressing to quarters across somewhere in the middle of Joe's roll. He then parlayed every other bet, every other hit until he had $900 on 6 & 8, and $500 on every thing else (which you can see in the video).
Joe wanted me to mention that he's had several dice tossing classes and believes it's the ONLY way to establish a good foundation. He would like to give credit to Dom @ Golden Touch Craps, Heavy @ Axis Power Craps, Howard Rock & Roller, Koganinja777 and Beau the Dice Coach!
I wish I had been able to get Joe's ENTIRE 50 minutes on video. But, what I got, and the story behind it, is pretty EPIC in itself. Hope you enjoy it!
Until next time.

Incredible roll. We all pray to be at a table where someone does this!
Couldn't agree more. Just wish I had been in the game.
I watched a guy roll all numbers and 50 times and didn't bet anything cause I was on edge for him the whole time didn't wanna mess him up
Years ago on an anniversary trip to Tunica, I was new to gambling but lucky enough to be at a table like this. Bought in with 100, left with only 1200 a few hours later. I say “only” 1200 because if I knew then what I know now, I would’ve walked with 10k. Been looking for a table like that ever since!
Palms casini like Everything old fashioned and like greek italion smell to it. You know. Like better if you a void the balding people jajaj. Lol. Lol. Nothing fun to do around there. Buy a soccer ball instead
What's amazing is that the table stayed so quiet, not drawing alot of attention to disrupt his focus. Your video was very inspiring for controlers and the content in the description was as well great video thanks.
Mark Simonetti Thank you for your nice comments. Much appreciated.
Couldn't agree more. Great work. Much appreciated
I’ll say it again, the best way to explain any craps players reaction to this video is.......get ready for it...........”I got a hard-on!” watching this!!!!
Yea I can’t stand when players scream and cheer when you have a hot roller. Drives me nuts.
The shooter was an absolute robot, which is how you beat this game on the right side. Every roll was a carbon copy of the previous one, an impressive physical feat to maintain over time.
Darth Vader INDEED! Such a joy to watch!
jedi knight shooting
@@InsidetheCasino I wonder, which numbers was he using at the beggining. The second dice always had a 5 in the inside. I could not see the other numbers.
@@lindabeal5353 For those trying to win, the usual dice set used after the point is established is a V-set, which is 3 on each die oriented so that they look like the letter V.
I hear it take about 10,000 hours practice to master the technique. If enough people do it, craps May be slowly phased out at casinos.
This gentleman is a true study in dexterity discipline. I come back to this video from time to time just to remind me of how the game should be played and for the Box men I gotta say they are trained professionals. They immediately recognized the mood swing of the table and kept that going for the benefit of all.
What a shooter!!
Indeed!
Thanks for watching.
I like calmness at the table and the casual conversation you had with the lady next to you. It was great to watch and hear
Awesome rolling. I was just at the venetian and hit all the numbers, they call it "boom or bust" there. I had $5 on the low, 5 on all, and 5 on top. $15 bet paid out $1,200. I was the second one to do it that night. Good times
I love the cameraman explaining that the prop bets are basically suckers bets to the woman who says "yeah you're right..... gimme the hard 8.... and hard 10"
Really makes you feel like you are there! And I loved reading all the details in the description too. Well done to both shooters! (the dice and the camera)
THANKS! Glad you liked the video! There's more to come!
Love the man that kept pressing... killed it.
Rubenf Frias Yes he did. It was cool to see in person.
@@InsidetheCasino I bet they were a team LOL
Wow that was absolutely amazing controlled shooting. That one guy was pressing up like crazy. Good stuff!! Thanks for the video!!
ffbowler300 Yeah he was.
Thanks for watching. Glad you liked it.
I would have too lol. Wish i was on that table
Only an idiot wouldn’t be pressing with this guy shooting...no shitting, I think I could have made $2500-$5,000 if I was at that table. When a shooter is hot, bet the farm....and know when to get out or lower you bets.
Well done Sir.
Every time I think about giving up on dice control, I see a video or I'm at the Casio and run across a shooter like this gentleman and get energized to practice.
jaxxbee12 DON’T give up! It takes A LOT of practice and dedication to get good. You can do it!
I’ve been banned for life from shooting at one casino. Maybe that tells you something.
if your friend Big Shot is watching, I would like to congratulate him on this beautiful long roll.. Seems mechanics are the key.. the set is just the start to produce a result based on your mechanics.. Well done Joe R! Respect !!
Very true words.
@Thomas Mead 😅
That long huh? And you still haven't figured it out that dice setting works?
I watch this video every few days. This was amazing. The story behind it is incredible
Yep. Pretty fun to see in person!
Thanks for posting. I've never seen this happen in real life. I'm glad to know that people rolling like this is a real thing.
Pretty cool isn't it! It's just like any other skill. It takes A LOT of practice and good lessons to become good at anything, even dice control.
I've done it. I shot about 20 times. 2 Asian guys were giving me $25 dollar tips everytime I rolled. haha They won around 11k from me.
Yes, indeed. A true DI in action is a thing of beauty. Looks like a 6x set dropped in the same place every time. He has his landing zone and all the mechanics. Couldn't see the dice hit, but the fact that they didn't jump back out into the table 99 percent of the time means he was probably just touching the wall with them and they were dropping dead. Wonderful. Thanks.
Actually, he was playing all 7 sets. It's explained in the video description.
Very astute of you. Pretty sure, he was landing right at the base of the wall.
I watch this video every week. I Watch all your videos. The story behind this roll is INCREDIBLE. Man i love watching controlled shooters. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥💯💯💯💯💯
Yep! This was fun to watch in person!
Yessss! Now that was great. I knew when I saw him toss the dice that this guy knew what he was doing. Great video.
M Carter INDEED! Glad you liked the video!
I once saw a guy who grabbed the dice and did the whole line them up and do the controlled toss. Or at least he tried to do it. I think he rolled 3-4 times, and each time it was a point made followed immediately by 7 out. I think he needs to go back to dice college. This guy did great. I thought the guy in the yellow pressed up his place bet a bit too aggressively and not taking enough back. He's at a higher level than me, I've never more than $500 on the table at a time. At the end, he left about $3000 on the table.
Good video.
The fact that everyone at the table stayed calm and quiet, they kept the “flies on shit” idiots from running over and buying in mid roll ;)
Mike Schelling That’s for sure!
🔥🔥🔥🔥
Palms is now a station casino and still has low foot traffic unlike pre 2008 or so when the Maloofs still owned it and the crowd is reflective of the local , older crowds which helps in that aspect!
Todd 808 hope it stays that way my friend! My favorite tables are the non tourist traps just like you.
AGREED! A quite table with just a couple experienced players is the perfect atmosphere. I've had the best luck finding those conditions early in the morning.
just killing it with the 6 and 8 place bets! love it!
The Emperor It was pretty cool!
Best roll I've seen on video in a long time. Thanks.
My pleasure! Glad you liked it! Thanks for watching.
When I see such an incredible roll like this it always makes me think about the lady at the Borgata and how in the world could she have rolled 154 rolls for 4 hours and 18 minutes. I just can't believe it happened without me there, lol
Haha. So true.
That was just a story for publicity.
BEST ROLL IVE SEEN ON UA-cam 💯
I saw last week a guy hit 3 hard 8's in a row. He had a $100 all day and $25 hopping! It was my second most profitable craps game. I experienced an 1 hr roll. I started with 32 inside and finished with over $5K.
adaboy4z Congrats! That’s always a good feeling.
Don’t give it all back!
3 hard eights in a row and my $10 turns too $10,000 because I would have parlayed.
Great story. I watch this video before I go to the craps table. I took a lesson from Howard rock n roller in florida and the lesson makes a big difference. I now toss the all 7's set and if done right it works great as in the video. As many times as i have watched the video i could not figure out the dice set. that was the most helpful info of all.
The dice set the guys is yawing is mentioned in the video description.
set the dice. be cool. nobody going crazy with horn high this hop that a nice flow to the game. beautiful
Totally agree! So fun to watch.
The flow makes the game 👍
I prefer horn highs rather than some other bets, speaking as a dealer. Once you know the keys, you can pay any wager within a reasonable frame of time. But I agree, decent flow.
All the fun is getting boozy and acting like a jerk-off
Can't tell you how many times I've seen a shooter get into a groove and then some DIPSHIT hopping hard-ways and high low yo nonsense disrupts him and then it's a seven out. Every time.
This was just a perfect table to play on. He had enough room to shoot, sometimes people want to scrunch in next to you. Barely any prop bets playing sometimes all that action can slow things down and he was getting the dice back quick. No chips in his way to hit. I don’t feel sorry for whoever didn’t make bank at this table.
michael rodriguez I completely agree. Just wish I had the presence to jump in. But I was too busy making sure I got good video for my subscribers to enjoy.
Great video 👌😊! Also thanks for the detailed description...
My pleasure! Thanks for watching! Glad you liked the video.
You know he is about to roll for an hour if his stomach is on the rails lol🤣
I was in Biloxi MS about a month ago. I walked to the table and bought in $1000. There was one shooter in front of me. The table had been cold from what the players were telling me. So the shooter in front of me passed me the dice. I started off $81 across. I hit the ATS twice in a row, and I was 3 numbers aways from doing it a 3rd time. I had 10/10/10 up top. The roll was a 1 hour and 20 mins. I cashed out only $12,000 because I wasn't pressing as much as I should have. I'm a conservative player that normally starts high and goes low. I have my own system. So I would pull my bets down and start over which I regretted after the roll was over. But the set that I used on the roll was 4, 4 on top with the 6 to the left and the 2 to the right in the back. My grandfather taught me the game at a early age. I've had some great rolls in my life time.
allaboutfacts very cool! Thanks for sharing the experience!
Dam that was a great day at the craps table! Well done!
How many hour practice did it take you to master your craft?....and please send me you intinery the next time your going to a casino!
Were you throwing straight against the back wall or into the corner like our friend Joe?
@@5inthehole well I got to get a lot of practice growing up because my uncle had 2 gambling houses with some nice tables that he built. But I didn't start playing at casinos until 2015. It took me about 2 months to get adjusted and then from there I started being a consistent shooter. I already knew all of the combinations. I'm down in Biloxi right now and I had a 45 minute roll yesterday. But I was betting on everyone elses rolls prior to my shot so I had to make up my money and then profit. I don't play on Saturday's because the casinos be to crowed and the tables can't get any rhythm with a slow game.
Smart gamblers would skip their turns and let that sharp keep shooting.
That is a true statement.
@@InsidetheCasino -At some point the casino would shut the table down and ask the shooter, politely, to leave and never come back. I bet they already have his face on people to watch at the craps tables. They didn’t build those casinos with guys walking out with 7g’s of their money every night.....and almost all the Vegas casinos share this information with each other.
They barely do it tho
@@kimthompson6686 I've never had a casino make issue of dice control, it's more of an issue of shooters taking too long to shoot. This guy took a long time on at least 1 shot, I'm not watching the whole video. Wendover is the only city that banned dice control on plackards on the tables, even there; it's probably just because it takes too long. They make money on a hot roll if people are blowing money on sucker bets and ATS.
Our arms get tired and yall get mad that 3 rolls were a half hour but the 4th kne wasn't.
Yup totally believe in the dice setting theory and have had much success myself. Definitely worth taking the time to learn and perfect the craft.
TheBearFamily ...AGREED 100%!
Really enjoyed your video as well as the previous ones. Keep up the good work and your positive attitude. Tried to reproduce the roll and came up with back to back 20 rolls.
Victor Irving EXCELLENT! Now reproduce it in the casino! If you can do that, you’re ahead of the average.
@@InsidetheCasino I am in the process of building a 12 foot table to practice on. Then I will give it the ol one two.
Awesome! Good luck!
It was deffently a work of art watching this guy roll . He must have a craps table at his house for him shooting this Good .
Yes he does, and he takes learning and practicing this skill VERY seriously.
WOW!!! EPIC is right! Great vid!
Russell LeJeune Thanks. Glad you liked it!
Epic for sure. I wish I could see his landing zone a little better. The backstory in the description was really cool.
Yo-Levened Bread ...Yeah. I do too.
Glad you liked the video, regardless.
Looks like he was dropping the dice really close to the wall. Amazing control!
You need to land line 1 inch before the wall I been praticing this
I been having monster rolls on my shot. But I have craped quick. I need more practice. Because last 6 rolls 4 have been in the range of 30 to 40 throws before going out.
This video needs to be put in the smithsonium titled “how to play craps correctly” in the card catalogue.

What a great roll and to think some lady at the Borgata dwarfs his roll by going 4 hours and 18 minutes. Incredible
Yes. It was a great thing to watch.
That was a thing of beauty!!! That guy has excellent dice influencing skills!
Sarge Viguy YES HE DOES! It was fun to watch. Wish I had jumped in.
Just saw this... Awesome control!
Finally threw my first ATS earlier this week. I can’t repeat what I screamed out but it was a long time coming!
What does ats mean
@@rxskrillait means All Tall Small.
Tall is rolling numbers 8 thru 12 and Small is rolling numbers 2 thru 6.
You have to roll all of them in the small or tall set before you roll a 7
I think the Tall pays 150 to 1 and the Small pays 75 or 100 to 1.
It's hard to do.
@@marywilson5192 thanks man
Love the channel I hit the ATS 3 times once at the palace station, golden nugget, and sante fe station 🎲🎲👍
AWESOME! 👍🏻

Nice dice control. Always nice to play at a table surrounded by players like this!
Great great footage, thank you. Flying over to LV this weekend from London...just need to repeat this! 😅

Update 2 weeks later how'd it go?
@@inhawaii4941 Had such a good time but sadly lost on most Craps sessions. Couldn't get a run going so either 3 point Molly or inside bets almost always went down. Up on poker though so a manageable loss on the trip. I'll be back.
I’m going after tomorrow.
Thanks Man! But when you see a hot control shooter, jump in and at least bet $110 inside press n collect. I was at Palace station and jumped in mid roll 20mins and the guy rolled for almost an hour. Indicator.. Look at there chip racks, tell your wife to hold the phone and jump in.Cheers!
Nevadan LV Yep. Kicking myself for not jumping in.
What a thrill to catch a hot roll!

Entertaining and educational! Your video is a must watch if one decides to perfect the art of dice control.
That is a true statement! Thanks for watching! Hope you learned something. 👍🏻
And thanks for the video, please keep em’ coming they are much appreciated by all!

These are the type of rolls you live for as a craps player.

I made thousands at the Luxor 6 years ago with $5 on the ATS bet (all numbers)... Everyone was sweating their asses off waiting for that last number (3 craps) to roll and when it did the whole table EXPLODED! I will never forget that night lol They had to check the dice, the surveillance footage, everything before we all got paid out... Took about 25-30 minutes for everyone to actually get paid lol...
That would have been fun.
Nice can’t wait to go back

gold standard Indeed he has. He told me he practices a lot and has received some training as well.

I Love Casino's Craps. :-D
I need this kind of shooter when I’m playing
Kongdezzi Eastg8 Same here. He rolled for nearly an hour, hit the ATS and nearly did it a second time.
Hit the ALL TALL recently with $25 on it at Aria.
I had 25 across the top and just needed a 3 to complete it.....
7.... second time I’ve come that close
Still won 2000, 4s and 10s a plenty 👍🏽
NICE! Congrats!
More then me. I always try to keep $5 on each.
Won many times with $5 on each. Tried before with $10 and $25 on each but didn’t win. Seen guys win it with $25 each I was the shooter.

Reminded me of the Dominator !
Great roll, great video, as usual. You and Road Gambler should meet up and make a video of you both playing Craps.
I like to set my dice like that guy did, rather than random rolls. Some people poo-poo dice setting, but I believe it helps me, even if only slightly. I like Bone Thrower’s videos for dice setting.

Awesome roll

how did you film at the table? don’t they prohibit device / phone usage at the table?
When I first started watching the video and all he needed was the 4 to win the All Small and he rolled craps while betting the pass line and then followed with a 7 after that to reset the ATS, I almost quit watching the video figuring more BS. Glad I continued watching.
YEP! It was pretty amazing to watch. Wish I had his entire roll where he hit the ATS. It happened before I got there.
lay the 4 for half of your bet win to hit em all. so if u have a 222 you would win 350 so lay 180 and you win either way if you roll it or 7 out.
Amazing.
Yes it was! Just wish I had jumped in and played!
would have to been there for that dream roll
I was pretty cool!
Wow and wow!
Great content. Love your videos. Would have been awesome to jump in and press the inside based on how this guy was shooting. You are saying he shooting 30 min before you starting recording?
Kevin Stout YES! About 10-13 minutes into the video someone says that he had been shooting for 40 minutes. Then it’s mentioned later near the end of the video. So he was shooting for 20-30 BEFORE I started recording.
I would like to learn the shooters technique. He is just rolling and staying relaxed.
I really enjoyed the describing the ATS without saying ‘seven’
Before I read the description, I had a feeling he worked with Golden Touch Craps or the equivalent just by the way he threw and the accuracy. I have been working on it myself, but haven’t taken classes.
You are correct!
Golden touch is best about craps rolling technique my best rolls are golden touch technique some lasted over 40 rolls.
I just want to ask an important question and hope to get your answer. Did the shooter Joe shot the dices in a diagonal direction as his normal routine or just to change the things to upset the table?
He throws into the hook. As far as I know, that’s his normal target.
friggin epic
Yes it was! Fun to watch in person, too!
Guy in yellow played the right way. Took advantage of the hot streak and played to win. Gotta spend money to make money in dice

As a side note, the guy in the yellow shirt was the shooter’s friend.
Awesome
