he took my ante but still paid me for the ante bonus.
Maybe my dealer screwed up.
You're right, she should have been paid even though she lost. The ante bonus is like the pair plus bonus, if your hand qualifies for the bonus, you get paid no matter what the dealer has.

Just an observation, when Steve won on the quads and the button didn’t light up for you both, the casino should owe you $5 each. Because when Devon took your original bet off, Then when he called the floor the pit boss said to place $5 on the button so it would light up. Then Devon took the other $5 off as well as your original bet.
I hope I explained that correctly 😅
The $5 doesn't stay on the table. It 's not really a bet, it is more like a payment to qualify for the wheel spin

Dealer made a mistake for Danielle first hand when she lost against a bigger straight. Regardless of whether you beat the dealer or not , anytime you get a straight or higher , you automatically get the ante bonus. The dealer owes you $20.
