Gonna talk a bit about this video. What initially started out as a test to see if we could actually make anything using Rainbow Six Siege quickly turned into a nightmare and a half.
>No ability to adjust the FOV below 60, all zooms had to be done digitally.
>If a friendly player moves in the center of the frame, their icon appears above their head, even with all HUD elements turned off.
>Due to this having to be recorded live, ALL sound effects had to be inserted manually. All footsteps, gunshots, atmospheres, voices, and foley. This took fucking weeks.
>You have to have more than one person on the enemy team no matter what if you intend to kill someone. If you have only one person, it immediately shows the 'round over' screen when the last man on a team dies.
So yeah, probably not going to use this engine again.
thanks so much for doing it so i dont have to lol. i tested it and the problems you mentioned just made me wait for the (somewhat confirmed) cinematic tools. but finally theres an awesome cinematic in this very tense game. [also wanted to have fuze IN the cinematic so...]

I don’t get why games don’t use these type of sounds, would be much more cooler and enjoyable
There was a glitch that would allow you to make your gun invisible, but still able to use it. So if you had an ACOG, you could get a zoom without having to crop your video and reduce your overall resolution.
Did you employ this at all in the making of this?
Wasn't aware of the glitch. Suffered instead.
There’s actually a glitch to make yourself invisible. Sometimes the game itself is just broken.
Ah now there is a replay mode. sad times
Definitely can see the challenge making this with the limits from the game engine itself, but wow this editing was phenomenal! You guys pulled it off! Great work!
Pacing feels similar to John Wick here, would love a John Wick styled story in GTA V
You ever thought about using battlefield 4 to make things in the same style?

Evan Royalty find an empty one. There’s tons of empty servers. You could start a discord or whatever to have random people fill in the slots and be background actors

With the new Battlefield coming out that might be conducive to some SCP stuff you did . It would be really cool of like a Keter class threat started doing horrid stuff and thr Foundation was having difficulty containing a threat and boom, twister happened and yaaaaay, everyone is dying.
I really enjoyed your SCP stuff. Looking towards more for that. Even cooler would be an actual show of containment, breaches, and stuff. Maybe you could be the guys.

Rainbow Six: Siege; an Honest Trailer (still would be better if Ubisoft pulled their heads out of their ass and stuck with what they originally showed at E3, but their track record is laughable at best with quality)

Turned off all the HUD, and used Fuze's ability. After that, I cropped out the remaining HUD with a letterbox.

Really cool but I can see that you don't wanna do another one with those hurdles - even though GTA isn't free of obstacles either. So frustrating at times.
