Can you believe it? With less than 2$, you can have Vietnamese fried rice with a combination of shrimp, chicken, or a choice of shrimp or chicken with egg, Chinese sausage and mixed vegetables. This video shows you what Vietnam street food - Crispy Fried Rice with Meat ADDED 2 Fresh Eggs and Minced Vegetables looks like.
FYI: Growing up with a father of Vietnamese descent, we always had a pot of cooked rice at the ready and when we had leftovers (which was often), my father would make breakfast fried rice in the morning. This is my take on a childhood favorite.
Crispy Fried Rice with Meat & Fresh Eggs. Great breakfast for less than 2$. I'm feeling grateful!

Hands down i can honestly say vietnamese makes the best fried rice
The "crispy" comes from the bowl shavings mmm :p
Literally a real "fried" rice. true to its definition. fried till it cant be fried anymore.
Every stir and spin some rice fall out .... if you collect those you can cook another plate !!

i’m vietnamese and i like this video
Unusual cooking style... well unusual to me.. dry pan, and similar to a wok but looks much thicker and cooker much slower then using a wok burner. And nothing stuck to the pan!! Looks tasty
Yeah. This wok is pretty heavy. They have cooked a lot on it so do not need to add any more oil :)
That's not the best dish in my country. But it's good enough for my breakfast :)))
Cơm chiên bỏ đồ chua vào chiên , ở trong sg chưa thấy bh
Looks incredible!
Fried rice looks good
For anyone westerners wondering, the exact number of flips of the rice is 37,436. If you do it less than that it won’t any good. If you do it more it would be overcooked. Every Vietnamese person knows this.
Quá hay ! Ko lắc chảo mà vẫn đều.
tres bon... I need a wok like that one and ship it home via United Parcel or DHL. :)
give me your address:)
looks good nd healthy
Yes. Full breakfast for me

Bro he scraping the shit outta that pan
Hmmm extra metal flavor scratch off the frying wok.
Billy Lee just additional iron supplement on the house.. I'm pretty sure its as safe as the burnt substance on your everyday grill.
They also cough on the rice , to boost your immune system.
Id pay extra if i knew that..gotta love freebies.
Better than teflon and non-stick coatings
Billy Lee you were right thats what I'm thinking too.
0:53 Aw :(
LOL he mixed the rice and egg before the egg had solidified. That rice will be gritty now

Please tell me he seasoned that while he was cooking? There are few things I hate more than bland fried rice.
KaiserX111 Yes it was seasoned, happened quickly but yes liquid seasoning and fresh herbs were added during the process.
I Imagine after he cook , grab the plates then he fell to the floor.. restart cook😂

We love exotic & organic food
Stop killing the rice😂
Lol □■□■
The hardest part of cooking fried rice is stirring...really take a tool in your wrist..
Now I know why it's crunchy 😅
Because of the metal shards?
Buena receta y el ingrediente secreto es aluminio xD
Cơm chiên dương châu
If it were sauce it would be different. But is it really necessary to stir it a thousand times?
People R. Animals yes it is. Stirring makes rice, eggs and ingredients mix well together, more tasty but not sticky. Cook seasons a bit of salt and eaters add soy sauce as much as they want
owh, if indonesia called singapore fried rice coz with out sweet soy sauce.
use the scissors again, that was great. stirring the rice is so cool, especially when the pot makes noise. proud moments for the chef indeed. enjoy! #saltandpepperplease
yeah i also was surprised to see they didnt add any oil to the rice. looks delicious though.
i think they added very little oil during the process ( not at the beginning)
This is what I call rice abuse. He really smashed that rice to pieces. Also a great way to increase your iron intake lol
Vietnams yeaddd
andame ng tuktok na nagawa n! kuya a kawa
Fried rice with IRON

0:54 LOL
great
Cheers for exotic & organic food!
how come it´s crispy?
ngon qua ngon
Cheers for exotic & organic food!
Lack of heat lack of oil... it's only a normal mum's home made fried rice.... the way you cook explained why the black surface of your wok has gone.... you stir fried your wok not the rice.....
Where is it...?
It looks so unprofessional compared to my local fried rice restaurant
Did you uh stir enough?
yes. 3 minutes of stir
That wok has been used so much that all the black coating is gone.
yeah. And it has been used so much that you do not need to add cooking oil
you can know frm the way he cook
Not every pans are coated especially in Asia they are as you get them the black marks are from years of cooking
Did this guy ever clean the wok and put garbage in the bin? Big hygiene problem.
damn, Crispy Fried Rice with Meat so yummy and how much you buy this plate, when i come to hanoi i eat Crispy Fried Rice at small restaurant like this and i forget the name restaurant and the waitress say to me is cost 50,000 vnd 1 plate fried rice , she try to ripped me off, i can't believe it so expensive....i eat in Saigon not expensive like that..lmao
she did not rip you off. I am a local girl. I paid 50,000vnd too. Of course, the price is different across restaurants :)
It's normal for a restaurant. For better ingredient I can pay up to 80 or maybe 200.
How much
Ever heard of oil?
30% eventually ends up flying out
Who ate all the metal from that pan?
หายอยาก....
which animal meat was used in this?
