After having spent a lot of time in an original 57 speedster, I can say that they are definitely something special. But !! 180hp with the same curb appeal, with some sorted suspension, it would be fun
Beautiful Beck speedster.. happy wife happy life! My 57 Coupe is built by JPS and also equipped with all the above and is a real joy to own and drive. Great video!
I love your collection- I discovered you on Autotopia ( that should make Shawn happy lol). I have been enjoying all of your content. You guys mentioned a rally at some point- that would be very cool.
I love everything about this except the push to be valid. You speak well, relax, video is excellent, editing, etc. but take a breath, and be a car guy…And agree Beck is quality!
I’ve always loved this car. Yours is beautiful ! I’ve heard of Beck out of Indiana and agree that they are Awesome. Living in Canada, there’s a Co. out of Vancouver.. Intermeccanica. Also great company. Anyways, wicked car and hopefully one day I’ll place my butt in one 😎
As the owner of a 2019 Outback, I can attest to the smoothness and reliability of the Subaru. Plus, it's 2 cyl boxer engine and the water cooled engine has to be quieter and more efficient.
I can’t understand after all these years, they still don’t make the windshield wiper in metal look? Why the giveaway black? So much time and they still don’t see???
Hey Vinny . Nice Porsche you got there 👍🏽 im currently building one. Im going for the widebody outlaw look. Its going to be Porsche Guards Red with black accents if thats what you Call it. All chrome is powdercoadet black. The wheels are RH ZW1 11,5” in the rear and 10,5” in front . Satin black center, with gloss black lips and Gold screws to match the gold Porsche logo 😉 im currently doing the body work, and getting it ready for paint. For engine im also thinking about Subaru turbo so it matches the look. It will look mean, so i also want the power 😁. Anyway nice video, and keep Them coming, im here watching 💪🏽👍🏽
Stunning! I really like replica cars that are true to the influence of the mentor car. I also appreciate modern technology in classic style cars. Best of both worlds!
A couple of questions. First. Where is the radiator? The Subaru is obviously water cooled so how is it "plumbed"? How does air circulate? Second. Is it a multi-linked rear suspension unlike the fairly primitive "swing axles" of the original. I owned a 1960 356B Roadster in the late '70's. Slower than the "Second Coming" but a blast to drive. And it was dead reliable as it was my daily driver for years. Great video and a beautiful car. The only thing I would add would be the stainless "spear" along the side.
These have gone up in value. Now is probably a good time to get into one. As the originals push 400/500k, these replicas are holding and increasing over time.
I got rid of my Mustang years ago and want another sports car, this replica is high on my list! I am looking at the SAS replica because he builds a nice frame, uses a new his design floor pan not a VW pan and a Subaru drivetrain. My engineer car enthusiast mindset sees it as a superior engineered replica.
Thanks I truly appreciate you watching and the feedback! I'm trying to improve with every video and bring a wide variety of content. I hope you enjoy what we have coming next!
Hi from South Africa! 👋🇿🇦 Great video about a great car, love your enthusiasm! A Beck really shouldn't be called a replica so much as a recreation - their attention to detail and engineering are that good 🤩 What other engine choices are offered on the 356? Love the intro music! What is it, please? Thanks again! I've subscribed 😀
Owning an MGB I can attest that these smaller cars = bigger blast. And they go further per $. I've been thinking of grabbing one myself. Less work that my B.👍
😂 I loved this, thank you! I'm trying to step up the quality and content. Sorry about the audio during the drive. We got that sorted since we shot that video. Trying to improve with every video!
@VINGIGGS Not a problem, I know your videos will get better with time. Love the video of the new construction as well, with the spiral staircase in the lofts!!! Keep up the great work!!
Stop bashing EV's, I am sure everyone buying these cars know the pros and cons of these vehicles. Driving an EV is a totally different experience, you should give it a try too. It is an emissions elsewhere vehicle, good to keep the environment near you clean, but a cheap gas car should be kept at hand for occasions like these, then you will have the best of both worlds.
Haha, I just bought a 356 replica EV from Canada . It’s awesome battery pack gets me 130 miles, I love it and not having to change oil or adjust valves on a flat 4 every 3000 miles is the cherry on top
I did give it a try on a Tesla…pass absolute zero driving experience! It was weird because no sound, yes fast but who cares I want the mechanical aspects of driving a vehicle,i want to hear revs the exhaust, etc. I get why some people buy them but I view them as appliances, you use until battery pack is and then throw away.
EVs are the biggest scam. They’re only clean in first place world countries that use them but the countries that mine them Congo and China both enslave their citizens just to mine the precious metals for the batteries. You environmental activists are such hypocrites for dismissing and silencing the people of Congo and the Uyghurs.
I didn't hear hom talk about if it's air cooled, where the radiator is, what type of transmission is in it, etc.
IT is liquid cooled. Subaru motors are not air cooled. The radiator has to be up front. Manual tranny.
This car is what dreams are made of! Definitely my personal favorite!
After having spent a lot of time in an original 57 speedster, I can say that they are definitely something special. But !! 180hp with the same curb appeal, with some sorted suspension, it would be fun
What a great little car/video. Thanks for sharing!
Perfect spec Speedster. Needs a couple of brown leather bonnet straps with chrome buckles and a period radio (Bluetooth enabled).
Beautiful Beck speedster.. happy wife happy life! My 57 Coupe is built by JPS and also equipped with all the above and is a real joy to own and drive. Great video!
I’ve always loved the Speedster ever since the King of the Mountain movie
The car in that movie was actually a Speedster replica kit
I love your collection- I discovered you on Autotopia ( that should make Shawn happy lol). I have been enjoying all of your content. You guys mentioned a rally at some point- that would be very cool.
Lol I love this! Stay tuned for rally talk
Porsche is a two syllable word: POR-sha.
Yep
First learn about these cars watching Dr. Hollywood. Micheal J. Fox car in the movie.
That's awesome!
WHOOAAA! THERE'S NO ENGINE! Got ya! 🤣
This is a little off topic but would you be willing share the color code for the Camero in the background? Very cool.
Have you driven a restored 356a I have and I am telling you it drove great.
Thanks for the walk through 👍 Flippin gorgeous. Really nice job
Thanks for the feedback!
I owned a '77 Porsche 911 S. It felt like a go cart and so does my 2014 BRZ Subie that I now drive. Nice replica.
What a great car ! Love it ! Thanks for making this nice video !
6:30
Because years ago, people were smart enough not to pass on the right!
Hey Vinny ! How are you doing ? Amazing collection you have there !
It looks to be the "tamest" car in your collection, but definitely is iconic and looks fun to cruise around in!
Also have a Subaru powered 356 replica Vinny. Love the platform too! Beautiful Speedster! I think my body was from the same builder as yours.
Thank you! And awesome, thanks for sharing 🙏🏻
I love everything about this except the push to be valid. You speak well, relax, video is excellent, editing, etc. but take a breath, and be a car guy…And agree Beck is quality!
Beautiful car and great video! What’s the name of the company that makes them?

Oh man your car is gonna be INSANE!!!!!!!!!! Please send pics once you finish it. I'm on IG or you can email me 😍
Man, we want to see that, post some content if you can
In 1970 i was stationed in Charleston s c bought a 1959 CONV D PORSCHE. VERY RARE. A SPEEDSTER WITH ROLL UP WINDOWS!!! GOT IT FOR $500.
A beautiful automobile!
Stunning! I really like replica cars that are true to the influence of the mentor car. I also appreciate modern technology in classic style cars. Best of both worlds!
Thanks for the feedback and agreed!
Beautiful car,one of my favorites, could you put a tremic in it
Did you see the electric one? What did you think of it?

What transmission?
Specially Auto in NE TN offers new speedsters and cabriolets with the Subaru 2.5L for 37-42k. Add another 3k and you get AC and a 5-speed.
These have gone up in value. Now is probably a good time to get into one. As the originals push 400/500k, these replicas are holding and increasing over time.

It's a great car! Good luck on your purchase and enjoy the heck out of it
fantastic video explaining this car, makes me want one more and more. you got my subscription!

Gotta oil the hinges on those doors. 😆😆

Did you find the paint code?
Previous owner specd the car so I don't have the paint code
How much???
How much ?
🧐
What was price ?
I have it up for sale at Hillbank USA in Jupiter FL. Asking price is just under $60k
Owning an MGB I can attest that these smaller cars = bigger blast. And they go further per $. I've been thinking of grabbing one myself. Less work that my B.👍
I was confused when he said he had dual exhaust and had only single exhaust on his own car .
how much?
Porsche looks like a nice scoop of vanilla ice cream on a waffle cone!!! Lol, great video and beautiful car!!!

I hate fiberglass if it was made out of aluminum I'd love it
For the wife 😉.. It's all good, I too want one of these.. And my wife knows I'll be doing the majority of the driving 🚦
90% of the video is the guy.
...talking about the car 🤷🏻♀️
Lmao 💪
Wow.
Is this an air cooled engine?
The retro is on: Subaru, beetle
The colour combination works really nicely. If I owned it, I would put a red pinstripe down the sides. Something to contrast with the interior. 🙂
It’s Por cha
I’m 6’ 4”
Dare I ask?/
Why not just get a vw beetle...
Because a vw beetle is not a 356 speedster and not what my wife wanted 😂
Because a VW is a ladies car for people like you,
@@VINGIGGSGarageMIC DROP 🎤
way to much cam moving and shaking
That was an earlier video on the channel. I was still learning. Thanks for the feedback
@@VINGIGGSGarage appriciate your response and accept the critic !! have a nice day ! ....and its a rly nice ride !!!
Nothing original is on the same level so it’s better or worse is nonsense since it’s not even on the same level
An original is way cooler. The replica is a much better driver
Porsha. Not porsh.
Boy this guy really likes to toot his own horn. You should have bought the JPS speedster….
Weird comment
JPS is north of $85k and you need to drive to socal to pick it up. I’d take a Beck hands down
