Another funny music related part of this iceberg that the video glosses over: “the poopshitters” is not just a still image. It’s actually a UA-cam channel pretending to be a super successful band (and is hyped up in the comments like one) but all of their songs are bad and goofy covers of pre existing songs and it’s peak. They’ve been actively posting for 4 years, which is a comical amount of dedication to a strange and obscure joke and I have so much respect for it

1:45:23 SIXBONES It's basically Sans and Papyrus from an alternate timeline where Papyrus suddenly starts to decay and Sans begs Alphys to inject Determination into his soul. This ends horribly wrong with Papyrus starting to melt in front of Sans, Sans hugs him and tells him that he will never leave him alone, causing them to fuse together like the Amalgamates...

never liked the "chara abused asriel" interpretation, though i dont blame anyone who had a sort of similar traumatizing experience as a kid, but the point is that theyre a KID and didnt know how to healthily cope with what they were going through. not a perfect person, and certainly acted in ways that hurt asriel, but everything points to them actually caring about the dreemurrs and monsters, to the point of committing suicide to save them from the underground

@@morgan4574Not really? Certainly, there's unhealthy and even toxic behaviour, but "abuse" implies a consistent desire to enforce control over someone for your own purposes.
This is not the case with Chara, at least when they were alive. Chara genuinely desired to save monsterkind, and simply did not consider that it would hurt Asriel. Indeed, Asriel did technically agree with the plan, only pulling out upon seeing the humans in the village.

44:40 Decided to look up the "Sans default dances and is called cringe" thing and here's what I found: If you look at Undyne's winter diologue, you get this:
* When suddenly, Sans scored a goal behind me!?
* Then he went over to Alphys, humming,
* And did some sort of... finger-pointy arm-crossy dance?
* Alphys pushed him away and told him to stop being "cringe culture"...
So yes, Sans scores a point and emotes before being called cringe

There's more to the "song coming from the sea" thing. In chapter one of Deltarune, if you talk to Onionsan, you can encounter them again in chapter 2, and they'll say something interesting. How sometimes at night, they hear a piece of a song coming from deep underwater, and that they think they heard the full song sometime before coming from the sea, but can't remember.

THE KING IS BACK. hey i need to tell you something quick about one of the points in the iceberg, specifically the "Chara is abusive" if i remember correctly.
The Chara Morality Debate™ is something that still rages on to this day and choosing an alignment in the fandom is definitely something you gotta do with full knowledge of every side because if you don't people will talk their butt off trying to convince you of their side.
i have a feeling you will most likely get recommended "Who is The True Villain of Undertale?" by Fleur Marigold and while i would recommend it as well; HOWEVER, keep in mind that they were a 17 year old at the time, apparently had undiagnosed autism and it might be a bit outdated.
i personally have elected not to care, unless if chara shows up in deltarune.
there have just been a lot of internet fights over this topic man.

NUMBER ONE: "Chara shames Asriel for crying" .... yeah that's a thing that kids do (not all kids) but there's a difference between " stop being a cry baby!" or "come on Asriel big kids don't cry!" and if Chara said something like "oh you don't wanna do it so you wanna be a dumb cry baby or do you wanna free monsters" or something like that idk if that example was manipulative enough but you get the point calling someone a cry baby is manipulative but not in every case if anything i always saw this line as Chara repeating something their parent or sibling said to them because they thought it was normal.
NUMBER TWO: this kid...."FLoWeY said that CHarA mAnIpulAteD tHE mONsteRs" nope Flowey said that it's because you made them love you that they are here frankly he could have phrased this better but this ties into Flowey saying something like after the photo shop Flowey fight "if you had gone gone around not caring about anyone then you wouldn't be feeling like this right now" or something that was just off the top of my head but you can fact check the quote if you want its like 80% accurate also saying "you made them love you" has a lot of different meanings that are far more solid like A. assuming Flowey meant that he thinks you manipulated the monsters he could just be wrong and projecting traits he thinks Chara would have on to Chara because he has those traits and he always assumes that Chara would be on his side in everything because they were friends he does this a lot in the genocide route to the point it's almost obvious if you look at it with context B. Flowey just means that you convinced them to be your friends even when they wanted to kill/harm you I.E papyrus Undyne Mettaton Muffet and basically every monster in the underground this point honestly is grasping at straws ngl also they kinda bring up point A kind of but just gloss over it into
NUMBER THREE: Asriel sees frisk being nice to them and assumes that they are not Chara because Chara is a fake friend or something ok so Asriel says that frisk is not Chara as soon after you beat him but before you hug him meaning the genuine act the kindness here was saving their friends and Asriel we can rule out that its because you saved your friends because he is unaffected by you saving your friends he doesn't even have dialogue about it but if they think he realized that frisk is not Chara because frisk saved him then here is where we rely on a point made in "who is the true villain of Undertale?" that holds up because frisk and the player do not know about the memory shown to Asriel because frisk was not there and we are not supposed to know that yet then the only option left is Chara Asriel or Napstablook the only people who could even do anything besides the player and frisk in that battle obviously its not Napstablook so could it be Asriel? sure he could just be remembering saving Chara or whatever even tho I'm pretty sure in the context of what he says after that doesn't make sense but then if Asriel just remembered that defeats the point because then frisk basically just called out to Asriel and he did the rest no genuine act of kindness there but if it isn't Asriel its Chara so Chara (the person "who coULd not pRefORm SUCh an act of kindness") is the one who shows Asriel the memory and saves the day while being dead and without a soul btw so they should care even less about Asriel then this theory states they do also ASRIEL IS LITTERLLY TRYING TO KILL THEM and they still deicide to save their friend yep seems pretty manipulative to me ngl (Also the bit that basically says that Chara was using that fact that they where abused to get what they want pisses me off)
NUMBER FOUR: Chara kills Flowey because they don't need them anymore i could just leave this point be because at this point Chara & frisk are at level 20 (more levels make you feel less) and Flowey is not Asriel and is also a murder but Chara actually does not insta kill Flowey or Asgore they hesitate meaning that its a up to the player to click to continue murdering everything Flowey is already dead after you slash him Chara just continues hitting him when Chara is in control they auto attack like with sans where his dialogue is cut off (pun intended) by Chara attacking him without player input..
Number Five: "frisk a pacifistic and generous person" TF YOU MEAN!?!??!?!?!? THEY LITTERLY DO NOTHING WITHOUT PLAYER INPUT THERE IS A REASON WHY PEOPLE MAKE THOERIES THAT FRISK IS DEAD AND WE CONTROL THEIR DEAD BODY TF YOU MEAN PACIFISTIC BY THAT LOGIC THEY ARE GENOCIDAL AND A MANIC WHY ARE WE PICKING AND CHOSSING WHEN FRISK DOES STUFF OR NOT WHEN A. THEY HAVE ZERO CHARACTER B. WE DO EVERYTHING FOR THEM AND C. Everyman is potentially a reference to 'The summoning of Everyman'. He is summoned by death as the literal embodiment of all humanity. He learns that all you are left with at death before God is your good deeds, something that ties in with the themes of Undertale. However in general use it just means someone who can stand in as any person, which could be what Toby named him as.

Hey king if your wondering why you didn't get everyone in deltarune chapter 2 it's because even if you recruit the monsters/darkners in chapter 2 if you have the gut to kill anyone of them you will lose the ability to recruit them forever in that run and if there already recruited they will be un recruited. I'm only mentioning this just incase you were curious about it.
The silvagunner music is a mixed bag, some of them are incredibly good, if you have a couple hours I do recommend you listen to them
