Also Matpat made a whole video (fnaf related) about giving proper credit, with the topic of Help Wanted official art using fanmade assets, and just talks about how now he credits every asset
Just fyi as for the ‘beef’ between matpat and Toby fox, there isn’t really any anymore. When Toby called him out Matpat started leaving links to the games they play from then on, and as of recent, Toby and Matpat have interacted after Matpat announced his retirement. Look at Game theories most recent deltarune theory for this btw
Back then, people (especially in the UTDR fandom) really hated him, huh? Now I bet some of those same people are going "OMG MATPAT, YOU WERE ALWAYS MY HERO. WE'LL MISS YOU 🥺"
1:11:50 Since the previous year, Toby Fox has been releasing Newsletters through the year, sometimes this Newsletters comes with a comic, so we could say that now we finally have official comics. (I guess)
Honestly I recommend you watch the "What I Got Wrong" video before the next iceberg and the "What Chapter 2 Changed" video after it. Both go into correcting errors made in the two videos.
I have a completed melody too but I think it was from a fanwork, or something not undertale related Edit: well, theres this: "Undertale Ballchime - Mystery", very similar to the melody I had in mind so I prob heard this somwhere, and yes it's by toby apparently for a game named "ItemHaver", and the song was found in an old website where toby posted WIPs Edit 2: "Item Haver Music - Mystery" that's the one, not putting links in case youtube deletes it, even if it's on yt
1:05:00, The main one I know is 'Dweller's Empty Path'. I don't really know much about it apart from that its an Undertale-type rpgmaker game with no real story mainly developed by Temmie Chang. I only know it because one of my favourite artists of all time, Camellia/Cametek worked on the soundtrack along with Toby and Temmie. Despite that, though, the ost isn't anything crazy, which sucks because Camellia and Toby's other crossovers all go hard as hell (Myths You Forgot, a Camellia track featuring Toby, and a handful of remixes of Undertale and Deltarune tracks in Camellia's style). I don't know whether the game's good or not though. Edit: Just looked it up and Dweller's Empty Path is actually an 'indirect sequel' to a game called Escaped Chasm, also by Temmie and also composed by Toby.
I find it funny how Toby made one post saying he thought Matpat did one slightly not great thing, and the fella making the iceberg video decided to make hating Matpat half of his personality.
There's a sequel to this iceberg by the same channel, that's also pretty interesting. It's pretty long, and it has a lot of dated theories that were proven wrong by chapter 2 of Deltarune, but i still find it worth watching.
28:05 also, Papyrus is the only enemy that doesn't move around, and if you ever pay attention, when enemies move more, their attacks get faster/stronger. And it's not that Papyrus can't move in a fight, because he moves all over in the Date fight. So, it's theorized that Papyrus is actually the strongest monster in the underground, as well as the one with the most precise control over his power, constantly holding back to not delete you immediately, and that the real reason why Undyne didn't want to train him to be a royal guard is because she fears what he might become if she did.
(he is also one of the only characters in the game to get Tired from fighting you on both Neutral and pacifist + if the whole "Papyrus dosen't move" thing was correct, it would mean people like Whimsum, So sorry, or shyren actually try to kill you which is just objectively wrong (shyren's movement also dosen't get any faster when you make her attacks stronger so there's that))
I'm at "that specific point on this video" and while I don't remember everything Toby's worked on himself, I do remember the most notorious like the Halloween Earthbound HackROM, a few songs he made for the Pokemon franchise (namely, Sword/Shield and Scarlet/Violet) and the heavy influence he had on Homestuck. And while Homestuck is not a game per se (it's more like a web comic), it does have official games like Hiveswap. But the whole Homestuck rabbit hole is another story, and it is LONG as fuck. I do recommend checking it out if you're interested, since the influence Homestuck had in Undertale and viceversa are very clear, but be warned it's a ton of content that would take a while to cover entirely.
If you're looking for a good video about the "beef" Toby had with MatPat, Goose Boose on youtube has a good video on it. A lot of the situation was blown out of proportion by the fandom if I'm being honest.

Toby worked on a web comic called Homestuck if you wanted to read it. It's a very long web comic and it's definitely not for a lot of people. Just if you were interested in more of Toby's work.
I'm pretty sure Toby helped make music for parts of Homestuck - I don't think he wrote/drew it like he did for undertale, seeing as most people just knew him by the Fwuradiation moniker for his earthbound game + the music
no he didn't write or draw for homestuck he did just make the music. However the humour is very similar to Tobys and Temmie did do art for the very final animation.@@disgustingsmell1970
It's okay, immediately after chapter 2, people were like "OMG KRIS IS THE KNIGHT 😱😱😱" which is a statement that I'm sure is totally true and won't end up being disproven later considering that not even half of the game has been released yet. 😅
@@imjustsomebunnyActually many have debunked that already, I mean Kris literally battles people who've already met this "Roaring Knight". Kris couldn't have created the cyber world dark fountain either since at the end of chapter 2 we learn that Noelle and Berdly had already started studying when it was created and from when we last see them at school we were always in control of Kris. Its also hinted by the closet's flavor text that someone was hiding in the closet at that time.
@@imjustsomebunny I know lol, I just wanted to point out that we don't need to wait for the rest of the game to release like you stated, its already disproven.
@toxicrepeter8607 You might think. But there are still people advocating for the Kris Knight theory despite how little evidence there is backing it up. It's all just circumstantial "well, they could have done this, or set this up ahead of time" and none of it really feels believable, and most of it contradicts what we already know. Like, some of these people want me to believe that this random teenager ripped us out of their chest, staggered to the library in the middle of the night to create the Cyber dark world, and then came home and ate an entire pie before going back to bed? And somehow Berdly and Noelle were able to do any studying there without just immediately falling in when it's established at the end of chapter 2 that darkness immediately subsumes an area when you open a fountain? And apparently at some point between chapters 1 and 2, Kris plugs in the TV as some part of their 4D chess move because they... just already know it's going to be relevant in the next Dark World? Or maybe Susie plugged it in to watch TV lol.
