Chase, I have a kinda meme build with this weapon. It’s a glass canon, hit kills most of the people I go against. No buffing needed, only the talismans. The funniest part is that no one expects that running R2. It’s so funny :) I took the build partially as an idea from your squishy build the other day, with the two broad swords. I’d recommend you to try that! :)
I think he doesn't show every encounter. You know, the ones with that guy spamming every spell in the game running around the coloseum arena with light roll. Or those with full bullgoat and 2 spikes.
I dropped it the first time after 450+ hours in the game and many runs - now I start a new run, just to chill (got everything, 100%) and this weapon is so awesome - the R2 is sick af and you can start the attack from save distance, meanwhile the R1 are so spammable, so you can use the talisman who buffs attacking chains - a great STR weapon and I love it (atm in Liurnia, finished Godrick with it first try) :D
Chase would you ever consider doing/have you ever done a vid meant to teach people some pointers about how to be better at PVP? I love it but am veeery mid and only win about half the time. Keep up the good work
I believe for PVP in Elden Ring the best thing you can do is be unpredictable. Most of the players still active are the ones that take pvp seriously so they've seen every meta and popular weapon + aow combo. Use something less known and w/l ratio goes up. Poise is the biggest problem when going off-meta though.
Honestly, just watching Chase's videos has made me better. He usually explains what he's doing and you can really learn the timings of a lot of weapons by watching him. It's also cool because since he's going through all the weapons you can see which ones you might want to try yourself, and look at his stats to see where you should be.
the fight where he gets down to 40hp makes me really want to see a vid where he loses. His endless positivity would mean more to me if I could see him losing with grace too.
It's a shame this weapon doesn't seem to have the typical FromSoft cleaver-specific move of pointing the end sideways, grabbing the blade with your offhand, then slamming it into the ground. Whenever I think Soulslike and cleaver-type weapons, I think of that move being their signature.
I cant believe how fast those 2 handed R1s came out! Especially with such a high AR like that which is normally reserved for much larger and heavier great weapons, actually disgusting lol.

Hey Chase love your videos! On a recent one you said soon you will run out of weapons to showcase. Doing some npc cosplay(like the starscourge one) invasions/duels would be fun and great content in my opinion. U could also do anime( like sasuke) or other games cosplay. Theres a really good dante(dmc) cosplay you could copy and annihilate everyone. Anyway you do you and have all the best :D
I've watched all of his weapon showcases, and I believe he's died about six times, maybe. If you really want to see him die you should check out the Coliseum videos he does with Lost and Prod, those are hilarious.
It’s not duels, but if you catch one of the invasion livestreams he does he seems to very rarely lose. But he’s lost a few during the weapon showcases before.

He posts losses, I can think of around 5 throughout the whole series. He had a couple thousand hours in DS3 and over a thousand in this game so he's in the top .001% of players, meaning he very rarely loses.

@@roshanemad-syring3943 so you will be underleveled for 150 and overleveled for 125 and anyone who is building for those metas are getting inconsistent data for how to build the weapons hes showcasing. And people he fights that are 125 are at a 12 level disadvantage, and people at 150 are fighting someone 13 levels below them. Two wrongs don't make a right, and its pretty easy to find people at the meta levels, the only thing this will do is make a third meta level of 137 which will split the pvp community even smaller.

That poke with dual lance looks really weird at close range. There needs to be a big "sour spot" in the hitbox so staying close makes sense.

This weapon is hilarious. I always tried dual wielding axes, but it looks like two-handing is the way to go.
I always feel like the range on the cleaver is just a bit too short for my liking despite it having my favorite R2 attack of any weapon.
Spinning slash always poise breaks me at 101p. I'm stuck till animation is done.
A neat little tip for the Iron Cleaver; At 80 int and set to magic, this thing for some odd reason gets a higher AR than any other axe in its class.

back up saves and resetting after you run out of tears is one way to have as many as you want. that’s what i do on ps5, probably better ways on PC.
