So to farm them you would need to also farm the trees with a sample of the soil where the mushroom grows around their roots, and hope for the best. cauliflower mushroom is actually a parasitic mushroom as far as I know and slowly kills the host tree. It's actually good for tree health if you limit their spread. Also as long as you harvest a mushroom after it had a chance to release it's spores it does not matter. At that point it probably has less impact than picking wild fruits and berries
mushroom foragers in eastern european countries would carry their foraging haul in wicker baskets as they gathered that way the spores could fall out and reseed the forest for the next harvest

Yes sure of mycologist Predroavaro. Mushrooms are very medicinal. This is why anybody familiar with psilocybin and any other kind of fungi will tell you, "They are alive." They have a very ancient wisdom. To my experience, all mushrooms have always said, "Pay attention to your life. How you think, how you feel, and what will you do with the information that you always knew, but now are seeing in this point of view." This is why mushrooms are so respected in tribal cultures. This mental health treatment works for me too. Half micro doses do the trick for me. At least a few days at a time with lengthy time in between. Never addictive. Thank you for sharing this point!
Yes he's Predroavaro. My daughter did straight shrooms in few days. Made her whole! after words, no more addictions, pains, ptsd and depression. It helped us.
Instructions unclear, now I have a swarm of fairies crawling up my arms trying to get into my mouth. GET. THEM. OFF. Just kidding. I was always told the ones that turn blue or purple when you break them were the “special” ones. Is that true? That cauliflower type looks cool, I’d be willing to try it if I found some. Much love from Texas.
I absolutely love the cauliflower mushrooms, I remember the first time my father bring it from his foraging trip, I ate some of it raw because it was so good. I had it maybe 2 or 3 times but I wish I had it some more. In the forests where we live they are very rare to find, and usually not in very big clumps, but I still absolutely love these mushrooms, I'd say my 3rd favourite after enoki and king oyster mushrooms.
There is a delicious "tripe soup" from cauliflower mushroom. In Poland we call it "leśny kalafior" (forest cauliflower) or "baraniocha", but it's polish scientific name is "szmaciak gałęzisty" or "siedzuń sosnowy" (lat. Sparassis crispa). This blue mushroom looks like blue Lactarius deliciosus. I recommend to pickle it in a clay pit. Just put to the ware a layer of onions, a layer of mushrooms and a teaspoon of salt. And repeat to the "peak" of the pit. Between the layers put some black peppercorns, garlic, allspice and bayleaves and, if you like, some slices of chilli peppers. At the top you can also put some dried dill flowers. All together press down with some heavy thing, I recommend a jar of water. After 5-7 days your "pickles" are ready.
I would appreciate it if you did not rip fungi off of trees just to draw on and throw away after. Fun fact, those fungi can live 30 years so they should be respected.
It's cool you can draw on that last one But I imagine you can grind it into a powder and put it in drinks and food that way? Also the blue one is beautiful and even if it wouldn't be super tasty it would definitely look nice as a garnish in dishes or maybe it would just be a fun mushroom to try who knows My even dry them and keep them as decoration

When I first saw indigo milk caps in the wild, I thought I was looking at a piece of ceramic tile that someone had thrown into the woods. It was too beautiful to pick.
You talk about that striking blue mushroom, in European fir forests there is a very similar bright orange one, I think, it's "orange agaric" in English. It looks so, so similar with its hollow stem and curled edge. It's considered among "good", that is, truly delicious mushrooms everyone collects. I mean, there are "meh" mushrooms lots of people don't collect even if they know how to cook them. Like fetid russula: it's plentiful, but nobody wants to deal with it, it requires lots of steeping and boiling, boiling and steeping, but it's just another russula after all that work.
Found the cauliflower today, there are so many growing this year in my region, I will freeze it since i cant eat that much of it :D Also found some saffron milk caps, they look exactly like the blue ones only in orange, and I actually adoree the taste of them.
Even if they don’t taste that great, I bet that sweet smell in the Indigo Milkcaps means they could be great if used for aromatic properties in certain desserts!
We have those indigo caps here in Germany too they look absolutely identical also tend to have a fruity smell.. but they are bright orange! The „sap“ kinda resembles blood :D we call them „reizker“
Absolutely loved picking up artisr conk shrooms and finding a thin stick to doodle on them. Though my parents were always telling me to be careful since mushrooms can be dangerous if you don't know what they are.. maybe that's why now I'm terrified of mushrooms 😂😭
In China we eat cauliflower fungi as a sweet soup combined with water and sugar chunks, and sometimes with dried fruit to make a delicious hot soup that is also sweet as well
most awesome thing about humans is if we get a basic skill (let’s say writing) it’s infinitely more times fun when we get to do it on or in the most random places

So the blue one can act as some paint and the last one a small canvas
Cool!
Found the cauliflower today, there are so many growing this year in my region, I will freeze it since i cant eat that much of it :D
Also found some saffron milk caps, they look exactly like the blue ones only in orange, and I actually adoree the taste of them.
Even if they don’t taste that great, I bet that sweet smell in the Indigo Milkcaps means they could be great if used for aromatic properties in certain desserts!
@Joebryan647 What about those applications?
@Joebryan647 You have a comment that just says “on Instagram and telegram”. What is on those applications?
At one point in time my dad used to "tattoo" onto that last mushroom using a wood burning kit. So many different unique fungi in the world.
We have those indigo caps here in Germany too they look absolutely identical also tend to have a fruity smell.. but they are bright orange! The „sap“ kinda resembles blood :D we call them „reizker“
As an Australian, with what happened recently (3 deaths and a murder inquiry) i think ill leave the mushrooms in the ground from a bit...
Absolutely loved picking up artisr conk shrooms and finding a thin stick to doodle on them. Though my parents were always telling me to be careful since mushrooms can be dangerous if you don't know what they are.. maybe that's why now I'm terrified of mushrooms 😂😭
My wife and I found some Yellow Oyster mushrooms vacationing in Iowa this summer. They were delicious.
When he said that it's also used for indigo dye... "That's the most Minecraft thing I've heard today"
Cauliflower mushrooms are really good. Had a soup one time and they were just like egg noodles.
I don’t really forage (in a desert and there’s not many mushrooms here), but I love the content. Nice to encounter on shorts. Keep it up❤
