I was kind of hoping you would make the Rumble 800 Head similar to the combo version. Would love to have just a 800 Watt Rumble Head with WiFi and Bluetooth access. Along with preloaded tones and the freedom to create. Just would make my rig easier to move so I don’t need bass pedals.
I owned a V3 rumble 200 combo, and had 2 main problems with it. The vintage switch was way too drastic, and the XLR out was post-eq only. Glad to see that you’ve addressed both problems!
i picked one of these up last week for a gig on the weekend and it was actually pretty good. very punchy and loud . a nice tone but great dynamics . better than my ampeg/crown setup which was much more hifi but more flat dynamically . the little rumble really slammed .
I've been practicing out of a Fender Rumble 40, and those buttons are really great sounding. I play with everything at 12 and all three buttons engaged, and dial in the rest of my tone on a preamp pedal. Couldnt recommend Rumble amps more tbh
I didn’t think I would enjoy this head, but after hearing it I definitely do now! Also, Fender please release both a American series Jaguar bass expanded colors for the Players series Jaguar bass! I would kill to have a Played series Jag in white!!!
When will Fender add modeling and FX to their Rumble head series? I absolutely love my Rumble 500 head but adding modeling and FX would be a “killer app”.
I am a proud owner of the combo rumble 200.But searching for a bigger set. Is the rumble 800HD a perfect match with my new rumble 410 or should I look for the previous model - rumble 500?Need a good rock sound and clear defined mid tone to cut at any gig.
Really considering this as a desktop amp for DI-tones straight into my interface for recording. It looks bigger than expected! Does this need to be attached to a cab to not «overheat» or can it work on its own without a cab?
I have the 800 hd, with 2 2x 12 with horns switched off. There is no way I can use the amp with a flat eq as these guys do. It is so boomy and heavy it is too much. I have used several basses from the American Jazz deluxe with active eq, with this bass I had to have the bass eq at quarter to 12 low mids the same, hi treble right down and it was still too much top. This was even with it rolled off on the active eq. I also have a jazz with dimarzio pups, still roll all the bass off, hi mids at 10 to 12 still very bassy and toppy. I can get a sound that I like but with so much eq rolled off the volume has to go way up. Something not right with the voicing with the amp and the 2 2x 10 cabs. I had the same problem with the rumble 200 I had before, that is why I got the 800 as the 200 could not keep up with the volume of the drums. Mine with the same bass and cabs sound nothing like this demo with the same eq.
I had a Rumble 200 V3 head until it developed an (apparently) unrepairable fault and I really REALLY enjoyed the tone I was getting from it. I absolutely loved pushing the distortion channel with the vintage tone pallet engaged. It's a shame that the only Rumble head on offer at the moment is 800 Watts. I can't see how I'd ever need that much in a live setting with monitoring. I've had to settle with a Markbass head that just doesn't sound as good for the same price point. Honestly, I want to upgrade back to a Fender head at some point. On a related note, I bought a good mid range Ibanez bass but it just doesn't sound as good as the incredibly cheap imitation P bass I used to play, so at some point I'd really like to get myself a really nice "real" P Bass. Depending on how my career works out, I might go for a custom shop instrument as I do have some ideas about what I want and I think it'll be worth saving up to get it. If things go really well, I might go for a Master Built instrument ;) EDIT: Plus, I've got the Rumble V3 410 cab and only the Rumble heads fit perfectly into the foot holes in it. That's not the main reason why I bought it, but it is incredibly unsatisfying to play other brands of amp through it when they don't slot in together so nicely.
Looks like a Rumble 210 to me. While the cab can only handle 700w, it is is an 8ohm load. Because of that, the Rumble 800 head is only putting out 400w. To get the full 800w from the amp head, you would need a cab with 4ohms OR 2 8ohm cabs (which equals 4ohms) hooked up to the amp. Edit for clarity: Rumble 800 head runs 400w at 8ohms and runs the full 800w at 4ohms.
I bought the Rumble 500 with the 115 extension and it sounds good but the master volume also controls the line out. So, if you want to adjust your stage volume, you’re also affecting the signal going to the board. Totally useless on stage.
Sounds good, not that into the gain in the higher settings, sounds a bit farty and top end for my taste, but I'd likely have a different OD pedal in front of anyway and not using the built-in gain.
Dig... would be a great addition to my rig, and a backup to my ‘78 Studio Bass when I lug that old girl out ... I just picked up a rumble 200 combo that I’m really digging. Looks like I might have to sell my tonehammer 500!
@@matteocristini6221 Looks like it doesn't have a compressor but that's not a big deal. I'm impressed with the tone. I always felt you had to only buy amps made by companies that specialize in bass gear. Years ago I paid mucho $ for an SWR rig and look at them now, out of business.
Disappointed the guy just held that P-Bass and didn’t run that through the amp. Very disappointed, because the amp sounds too anemic for an 800 watt to me.
Portable and light, yeah but it's so nasally. There's no real guts. I've tried to like the Rumble series, in fact, I've tried to like Class D amps but I just can't get the sound I want from them, Rumble included.
Which feature excites you the most about The Rumble 800HD?

Still a cool amp overall, just not what I was expecting.
Something that excites me is that a gig bag is included!
Based on the demo, it has some incredible versatility. What’s the price point?
The aluminum chassis and 2ohms speaker load. Great Job!

This is a good way to test headphones
Leo and George sure put a lot of talent into the show...rumble on

Don't get me wrong though, I pretty much worship the American performer jazz and precision basses!!!
Fender for life
I didn’t think I would enjoy this head, but after hearing it I definitely do now! Also, Fender please release both a American series Jaguar bass expanded colors for the Players series Jaguar bass! I would kill to have a Played series Jag in white!!!
hi... I am missing the input gain control... when will I know it is correct? thank you :}
I'm really thinking about getting a rumble head of some sort because they actually sound really nice.
I'm curious how many versions of the Rumble 800 head are there? Is there a difference between the Rumble 800 and the 800HD?
How does this compare to the bassman 800? Or even the orange terror V2
Should have used a Pbass
....
Can it be put into a Rack case? If so, how many spaces does it take?
Is it voiced differently to the V3 500 head? The only thing that seems Different is the pre/post Di and the greater output power...

I’m in LOVE

I want. I need.

Probably you can because is D class amp.
How would this head do with an 8x10 cabinet?
Fender is amazing ! ❤️

WHAT IS THE FUNCTIONALITY OF THE FOOTSWITCH ?
WHAT!!?? SPEAK UP I CAN'T HEAR YOU!!!
Hello. Can you use the rumble 800 head with the 2x10 cabinet AND a 1x15 cabinet at the same time?
Yes!
I had a Rumble 200 V3 head until it developed an (apparently) unrepairable fault and I really REALLY enjoyed the tone I was getting from it. Yeah!
You have my all attention
Yes please!
2019 and still no effects loop mix knob. :(
What cabinet is that? That looks like a Rumble 210, but the 210 can only handle 700w according to Fender website.

Would this head be better than the super bass man 300W?
What headphone would be good with it?
Any really.
Sounds great. What’s the Cab?
Niall's Bass Tones v3 2x10”
Does this head work safely with just the bassman 410 neo cab?
Adolfo Villegas absolutely
it would have been great if you had a separate Master volume and DI OUT volume
I’d say the magnetic thing would help on a mega shitty bar gig where the stage is a bit wobbly at parts.
I bought the Rumble 500 with the 115 extension and it sounds good but the master volume also controls the line out. So, if you want to adjust your stage volume, you’re also affecting the signal going to the board. Totally useless on stage.
Kenny Prescott
I agree
Would this be powerful enough for a death metal band, and sound fitting in a jazz band
😍 fender🖤
What kind of bass does the guy on the right play? The blue one
Alex MacSween fender American performer precision bass
like it !

Hey, the camera's over here......:-)
Compressor?
It should have a built-in limiter/compressor, no knob to adjust it though
@@matteocristini6221 Looks like it doesn't have a compressor but that's not a big deal. I'm impressed with the tone. I always felt you had to only buy amps made by companies that specialize in bass gear. Years ago I paid mucho $ for an SWR rig and look at them now, out of business.
Tortilla Man I checked the schematics on the user manual, there indeed is a non adjustable compressor before the power amp
Vintage button = Ampeg.
Just sayin.
Fender really out here making the bassman obselete?
Its close but not that close.
The Bassman, yes. The Super Bassman, not so much. Still a great amp!
Fender Growl
There are just so many better options...
Which ones?
This or an Aguilar rig
Ustedes no podrían hacer una línea de guitarras y bajos como la yamaha silence 200😊☺😀😂😍😭😏👍👏👏👏👏
😍

That would be $1100 bucks thanks
My Trace Elliot had "the button" way back in 1989 ! and now everyone is copying Trace lol
That was not natural
Damn it! Why Indonesia?? Why?????

What sound do you want?
