Is it "How many extra comments can you get on your video by putting an obvious mistake in the title?"
If the answer is: *“They don’t know the difference between 1.6 billion and 16 million”,* is the question: *“How do you know this BBC department has not one member of staff who has passed a maths or science class in their entire their life?”?*
Is it: why is SpeckleKen questioning someones maths when he should be questioning his own ability to write a legible sentence?

@@maniswolftoman Oh boo hoo. Your generation messed up the entire market. Our generation has to pay for your pension and hospital stays. Due to how your generation handled the economy, there is no money to pay for you. And your generation raised us. So anything you have to complain about us, comes back to your generation. But your generation is sooooooo good at deflecting blame away from themselves that this will probably go over your head.
@@paulliversidge7140 I'm not sure you need to do any maths to copy a number from the thumbnail, or from the video content for that matter.. Also, you missed an apostrophe in "someone's" so your English isn't as great as you think it is. Ultimately we all make typos and we can all edit our comments, MTW could also edited their video title if they wanted but then we wouldn't be here complaining and feeding the algorithm.

Yes, my normal answer in this situation is that it's a deliberate error to encourage clicks because it's obviously wrong and gives the clickee a seratonin boost to feel like they're right, but in this case that falls flat, it's just a shit error :)

@@germansnowman yes that is a bit of a smoking gun. On reconsidering, I think it might have been a genuine attempt at click baiting, when the title says one thing but the thumbnail (from the show) says another), so maybe they are taking that deliberate mistake and running with it, if the deliberate mistake was made in the title then why not repeat it in the description? As usual with these things, we will probably never know. Thanks for chiming in, though :)

I don't want to follow the pattern here, because 1.6 billion seconds, minutes, years is a very long time. How many seconds will it take you to read previous comments and realise this point has already been made?
Is the answer: how many UA-camrs saw the obvious error between 1.6 billion and 16 million and got so upset they couldn't even hear the jokes?
One can acknowledge an error and also see the funny side in things, just as you have done in your comment.

Having just stumbled upon this video and your response, I can easily say that this question is/was waaaaay underrated.
The question is - How many comments are there about the title being wrong?
I find it so funny watching this in 2023 knowing that the World Cup 2022 has happened in Qatar because of corruption and that it was the UK that ended up leaving the EU and not Greece

One of the things that kills me about this point in panel show history is the constant reference to FIFA corruption...here we are so many years on and has FIFA been held accountable? Nope.
Like ol' blighty itself, it's a prime example of how tradition seems to take precedent over eliminating the avenues by which *some* of us compulsively exploit good will; if that's what our constant turning of a blind eye to blatant villainy is supposed to be.

It would be one thing if ghey just mistitled it for the extra engagement from people pointing out that 1.6 billion is not equal to 16 million, but they even got it wrong in the description.
At least they are consistently wrong, which I suppose if you're going to be wrong on purpose is the best kind of wrong. Otherwise it's poor. They also use the current tense in describing the show. I'm going to go take a shower.
1.6 Billion wasn't the answer though, €1.6 Billion was. There's a very large difference between a number and a monetary value.
