#MockTheWeek #FrankieBoyle #JohnRobins
Series 15, Episode 11.
Watch the funniest Mock The Week moments here! We're uploading your favourite Mock The Week clips featuring Milton Jones, Romesh Ranganathan, Stewart Francis, Hugh Dennis and more every week, hosted by Dara O'Briain.
Mock the Week is a British topical, satirical celebrity panel show, that was created by Dan Patterson and Mark Leveson.
"Is it: aah, what are the chances?" is my absolute favourite James Acaster joke in the world.
Those are the answers I love.
Why? Because it makes you feel more intelligent than you actually are?
God damn I love these peaches
Second favourite after "RoboBongoCuckooCop."
'My milkshake brings what percentage of boys to the yard?'
The 3% that are gay
A good reminder for Americans to vote! You can’t trust a 3% lead in the polls. Vote now!
Also loved James Acaster’s answers!
She did win the popular vote tho so those polls were pretty accurate
@@Firenzell01 the polls also suggested she was 12% up in michigan, yet she lost it by 0.5%
@@Blazervitch Except that because noone thought Michigan would be competitive there was no real polling there in 2016. So the polls were actually pretty spot on - it's just that every poll has a margin of error.
@@DrZaius3141 yes but that is not an acceptable margin of error, the polls this year have been terrible as well
@@Blazervitch It is acceptable if there is not poll within 3 months of the election because people didn't expect to need it. And which poll this year has been way out?
One thing I might agree though is that in the US it's hard to get good polls because there is so much voter suppression happening. Republicans just don't want people to vote, often people may get purged from the voting rolls, you need to clear absurd hurdles in order to vote, polling places close down so you get extreme waiting times, voting happens on a work day so working people have harder time voting, etc. Everything for Republicans to cling on to power.
"It's world news, we make our own jam!"
Hugh really is the greatest 😂😂😂
Could you explain the joke, for a non-british not-English-as-first-language person?
@@lxndrlbr sure. The topic is world news, but Hugh's joke is that because Britain produces its own jam, the question Dara is looking for cannot be about jam
Hugh had earlier gone on a rant about domestic jam production. Dara was desperately trying to prevent Hugh from going off again.
I thought it was a reference to the opening song of the program. ("News Of The World (Read All About It)" by The Jam)
If James Acaster proposed to me, I would say "yes" - spider hands and all
"huh, what are the chances?" 😄
Am I the only one who rewatches these videos during lockdown? Don't know what i'll do without Mock the week or Graham Norton
Yeah if James proposed to me, even like that, I would instantly say yes.
John should have turn round and proposed to Dara
In Morgan Freeman's voice "unfortunately neither Sara nor Hillary ever got what they were hoping for"........
I’m just in love with James acaster
Hugh's jam rant is the best
Is it: What percentage of social media post contain truthful information worth learning?
Should get John Robins back. Really enjoy the podcast he does with Elis James.
Christ, I work for the company that operates Southern, I started giggling like a 4 year old in the middle of the pub
“Every day I propose to someone random…”
If James spider hands'ed up her water spout.. I'm sure we all know how it would turn out.
WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT TO ME?
What was the popularity vote on Boris Johnson before CO-VID?
I'm bothered by the fact they're not socially distanced.
3% is it how many people hate jodie whittaker doctor who?
No, that's the 97% 😉
The doctor who is meant to regenerate so gender is not relevant. JW has that androgynous look anyway and nailed the role.
Only 3% more like 99%
@@rebelraccoon9018 well I don’t know what you were watching in series 11, yes she may have nailed her role but with Chibnall doing the writing that was hardly difficult considering the scrip she had to work with...
@@CricketEngland "Hardly difficult" well according to you. We don't know the process she may have found it very difficult preparing.
Wow I remember when this was funny
I don’t want to be mean lol but why is Acaster so overrated? People laugh more at him just because it’s him saying something...
Milton Jones is the same, audience rolling in the aisles as soon as he steps up to the mic. It’s a shame because both are very funny in their own right.
On this episode, Ed joked that he hoped John and Sara's relationship would last, because if it didn't it would be awkward when this episode was shown on Dave.
John and Sara later broke up, and after that, I saw this episode on Dave.
@bowblizz idk chief maybe you're just not used to seeing women in traditionally male dominated fields lol. are male comedians docile and submissive in comparison?
@@cecily222 That's a good point, I haven't really thought about it like that!
@@cecily222 you're right and you should say it
note to self: don't drink water while acaster speaks
I'm sure I got an aspiration pneumonia due to my watching James Acaster while drinking a protein shake
I've seen this clip up to James' spider-hands - probably from an Acaster compilation - but hadn't realized what a zoo it turned into later on; iconic!
Wow, a Mock the Week clip I haven't seen yet! And from the actual answer, I can tell it's not a recent one.
I mean, for mock the week clips on UA-cam 4-5 years ago is basically current😂
I can tell it's not recent because John and Sara are apparently still an item XD
What percentage of Mock the Week panellists are yet to appear on Taskmaster?
Poor Sarah, little did she know, she’d have been better with Old Spider-hands Acaster! 😂
Good old Pat Springleaf
Yeah, but Acaster would have gotten the rough end of the pineapple in that deal.
I believe she has now married an Australian
Been better off with Mr Bean
@@kevincorby435 that's a shame. I shipped her with James :(
Is it "What percentage of these videos don't have a punchline in the title.?"
ooph the ending of that just punched me in the gut
james channeling willem dafoe as the green goblin there
Is it how many MTW youtube clips don't give away a joke in the title?
Is it what percentage of Hugh's life has been spent saying shawadywady
James' what are the chances . Was the best
I love Hugh's jam news.
Is it, “how much of the human body is mucus during flu season?”
Ed’s first answer was on point.
Tagging Frankie Boyle when he isn't in it...
Good timing
I’ll take a 3% chance proposal from James....please.......
Well fuck, it's 2020 and the real question came as a depressing shock at the end of some delightful light entertainment.
In a Frankie Boyle stand up show how much is actually funny
Is what percentage of people think I’m funny than I was in grade school?
James is goated
Well this has aged well 😆
What is the percentage of times Hugh says, “Shawaddywaddy”?
what
He stopped doing that _well_ before this aired.
Why did they use the hashtag FrankieBoyle if hes not even in it? Are too many people searching for the legend himwelf instead of the guys on your panel?
I actually was never the biggest fan of Boyle on MTW. I just wasn't a fan of what came across as simplistically vulgar shock humor.
@reelkena pot meet kettle? these comment sections are always chock full of people complaining about how they don't think something is funny or that the show's gone downhill. if someone didn't find frankie funny, they're just as entitled to express their opinion about it as you are. personally i thought he was very good, but there's no denying that a lot of his jokes relied on shock value.
John Robins dodged a bullet there. Sarah Pascoe is great when she does stand up on her own, but her performances alongside him were so needy and cringeworthy.
Considering how small the gap is between Pascoe ditched Robbins after this how much dignity does she have??
Is it how many Mock the Week jokes make me laugh nowadays?
Not the same without frankie Boyle
What percentage of Britain are White
What percentage of Britain are not racist
The new series is "Terrible.!!!!"
Christ almighty, there is a talent gap at the BBC. What a desperately unfunny show this is.
@Damian 2000 Autoplay brought me here.
The only series with a worse scoring system than QI seeing Dara give the point to which ever side he likes regardless of if they are the best or actually get the question right.
Oh my god even with NAME LIKE CRICKET.... yOU STILL NEED TO GET A GRIP !!!
@@kevfromnorwichUKGGKev well that’s the scoring system on the show Dara just give the point to who ever he likes, their is no need to be bloody rude about it
@@CricketEngland Bruv.. it's a comedy show...... i was just being jokey. Relax man :)
Peace.
Actually get the question right? You'd probably have more laughs watching mastermind.
@@kevfromnorwichUKGGKev telling me to get a grip and in uppercase is not bloody well being jokey
