Only the BBC can take a Rock song from the 70s and Alien footage and make it sound classy.
+Ellie Louise Queen is always classy...
bimer2000 I've been a Queen fan for years and I can confirm this to be true.
+Ellie Louise If anyone could do it, it would be Murray Gold.
+Ellie Louise So true haha! The original is the first song I ever heard, Fred would be proud of it.
+Ellie Louise this was inspired by Postmodern Jukebox i bet. their channel is gold
Freddie Mercury would be damn proud of this cover. Damn proud.
Doubt
New Ideas Are Scary Then you really don’t know the kind of person that Freddy was, darling.
@@Jim_The_Fish You knew him personally?
Definitely ❤
@@boiwifeyasmr4U you knew him personally? neither of us knew him personally to say if he would be proud or not of this cover
So glad to hear them bring this back for Hell Bent. It was great to hear Clara listening to it in the diner.
Holy hell I never noticed
That's like a realization on the level of Matt smith saying he finally knew where he was going, the long way round, and the capaldi saying that when he got out of the confession dial
@@rowan6489 it's the same as series 4, in the episode daleks in Manhattan one of the songs being performed on stage was made in the 1920s and then in series 5 the song can be heard again in a space bar sometime In the far future
HaloGalaxy Its at the end of ‘End of Time Part 2’ when the doctor sees Jack and Alonso 🙃
@@halogalaxy5612 Series 3, and the specials after series 4, respectively*
Series 5 was Matt Smith‘s first series
Missed opportunity to have a scene of the doctor with his sonic at "gonna make a super sonic man outta you"
This cover is so good. Im coming back after years of Peter's departure, so nostalgic!
Me too. It's my favorite cover of this song. I listen to it at least once a week!
2:00
So Strax is the "sex machine"?
No Mr Tardis! YOU are the sex machine
Never realised how fitting the lyrics where to doctor who, im starting to wanna think Mercury was watching doctor who while writing it
I'm surprised you didn't make a Shaun of the Dead joke.
Yes, indeed, MrTARDIS, you are da sex machine, my friend.
***** Such a fun comment.
All those in favour of this song to be on iTunes say "AYE"
AYE!
AYE!
Aye!
Aye, come on people!
AAAAAAAYYYEEEE
Applaud both Foxes and the Doctor Who crew for making such a beautiful cover and an amazing episode!
Nice way to make a trailer !
Time and time again I come back to this video... season 8 made me fall back in love with the show and this captures its vibe perfectly. It's what got my friend to give season 8 a chance!
s8-10 are the best of nu-who
Batman has a bat costume, Iron Man has a iron suit, Supersonic Man has a sonic screwdriver. So Freddie Mercury wrote this song for the doctor ...obviously.
MrEveningsun Maybe he met one of the doctors before he passed
don't talk about American Sc-Fi here.
@@Super_Mario128 Are comic heroes considered Sci-fi?
Aalso supersonic women yup your right on theory
the lyrics actually say supersonic woman…
Such a lovely jazz. One of the best covers ever
Don't Stop Me Now Lyrics
Tonight I'm gonna have myself a real good time
I feel alive
And the world I'll turn it inside out yeah
And floating around in ecstasy
So don't stop me now
Don't stop me
'Cause I'm having a good time having a good time
I'm a shooting star leaping through the sky like a tiger
Defying the laws of gravity
I'm a racing car passing by like Lady Godiva
I'm gonna go go go
There's no stopping me
I'm burnin' through the sky yeah
Two hundred degrees
That's why they call me Mister Fahrenheit
I'm trav'ling at the speed of light
I wanna make a supersonic man out of you
Don't stop me now
I'm having such a good time
I'm having a ball
Don't stop me now
If you wanna have a good time just give me a call
Don't stop me now
'Cause I'm having a good time
Don't stop me now
Yes I'm havin' a good time
I don't want to stop at all
I'm a rocket ship on my way to Mars
On a collision course
I am a satellite
I'm out of control
I am a sex machine ready to reload
Like an atom bomb
About to oh oh oh oh oh explode
I'm burnin' through the sky yeah
Two hundred degrees
That's why they call me Mister Fahrenheit
I'm trav'ling at the speed of light
I wanna make a supersonic woman of you
Don't stop me now
I'm having such a good time
I'm having a ball
Don't stop me now
If you wanna have a good time just give me a call
Don't stop me now
Don't stop me
Yes I'm havin' a good time
I don't want to stop at all
Wasn't everyone just born knowing the lyrics?
Thank you I need this I know them kinda but not to well 😅

I want this as an actual music video I can save on my iPad. This is a great rendition of one of my favorite Queen songs. Good job guys!
I mean officially. I know I can do that but I'd like to pay bbc some respect is all.
Glitch Michaels
television license not enough?
Good point. I'm just saying that there are things that I would rather pay for.
Yep , I agree this should be released for purchase somehow. perhaps as part of a BBC charity album.
If you'd like to download the video for playback on your iPad, copy the link and enter it in clipconverter.cc and choose mp4 on the video side. Then download and import to iTunes! I understand you want to pay the BBC (and trust me, if I could I would), but it's a great song and video.
What I wouldn't give for an mp3 version of this _without_ the footage sound effects.
Got to the IAmFoxes youtube channel, it's shorter but I found it there :)
Thanks!
tardisplus
Actually I'll thank you now. :P
Thanks a tonne!

Nice to see you here Matt the Blobfish. :)
Next episode has a forest invasion. So all forest things might be that. Reminded me of The Screaming Jungle I watched from Season Onw
This song is just reminding me of a regeneration.
I feel sad for twelve now :(
You missed the face of Bo at 1:23.
PhoenixNorthstar No thats a dalek
I cried. Wow. This is an amazing cover.
***** did you really?
darrien persad Yes I did, Dar Dar Binks
Orient Express dressed in the 1920s - in walks The Doctor and his companion Clara in formal wear of the time. All seems normal until a hauntingly beautiful voice starts to sing.... Lyrics from a futures past. The Orient Express is in Space and everything is not what it seems. If you have not yet watched an episode of Series 8, watch this one. It is practically perfect.
Brilliant cover of 'Don't Stop Me Now' by Foxes that brilliantly represents and sets the scene of Doctor Who Series 8.
Particularly love the merry making in the video with well timed scenes and lyrics. e.g @0:56"...Defying the Laws of Gravity".
this feels so nostalgic now that peter capaldi is leaving...
The hurt is more these days
I’ve just started watching his run and I can’t believe it took me this long!
Final and ultimate proof that Murray Gold is an absolute musical genius.
One of the better celebrity involvements I've seen in a TV show. There was no pandering, it was short and sweet in the episode and the song is a brilliant cover. Fantastic!
SUPERB! Fantastic voice and Tribute. Hats off BBC! Love the looks of the new clips!
This video is ridiculously nostalgic. One of the best times in Doctor Who for me, seeing a new Doctor from the very beginning for the first time.
Absolutely criminal this isn't on spotify 😔😂
RIGHT?
Yeah was extremely disappointed they only put the instrumental version on the soundtrack
Yes a full version :), i was hoping for one
Anyone notice the new footage in this trailer? Theres a tiger and a shot of the cybermen from the end of the season
Die episode war klasse und die version des songs ist absolut fantastisch ❤
I loved this part....this episode is actually how I found out about foxes
I'm so glad they showed a little bit of the episodes to come
I noticed some cheeky preview clips for future episodes.
I will never get tired of this song!
Song: 🎶I'm a sex machine ready to reload🎶
Video at the same time: *Strax*
"Tiger tiger burning bright, in the forest of the night..."
lovely quote but i think Blake spelled it Tyger :)
What immortal hand or eye could frame thy fearful symmetry?
Haha is that poem about London to?
Um no, it's about a tiger. In fact it's 'The Tyger' by William Blake if you'd like to look it up. It's a bit more interesting than 'London's Burning' :)
A fellow Mentalist fan?
I am totally i LOVE with this OMG

I have watched this almost weekly for months and months!!!! Live the Doc, but absolutely adore Foxes!!!!! Second most beautiful girl in the world!!!
I like Capaldi :D
well did you hear he is getting another year
whats your source?
Yes I know :)
יונית וריקה my source is the bbc
Swarley Gibbs can i get it?
Can't believe this was 7 years ago
I remember I was a senior in high school when I first heard this version of this song when the Mummy on the Orient Express was first broadcasted on BBC America.
I left my world to wonder in this endless midnight sky, for space is just a starry night which no suns ever rise.
this is actually amazing, I never thought that anyone else could sing this song anywhere near as well as Freddie Mercury but this proves me wrong
That guy touring with Queen sounds pretty good
This should be on iTunes or spotify
Mummy on the Orient Express was my fave ep so far
Future episode content!!!! I loved this episode and this song is my fav right now!!
Anyone else think Foxes is just... kinda dazzling with the way she moves her eyes and body when she sings? It kind of feels like a pendulum...
Still one of most favorite video's/performances ever made. This one never gets old. You're wonderful Louisa Rose Allen
The Voice cracks are very cute
I really love this cover of the song alot
Who said you can't top the original song. This lovely Foxes girl has just done that. She has made a fairly good Queen song down right magical. I would never have heard this version if I weren't a Dr Who fan.
can you believe it this song is twelveclara's anthem
+Kariann Tan pratically this whole vid too lol
My favourite singer singing my favourite Queen song in one of my favourite episode of my favourite TV show. *explodes in happiness*
Why isn't this on Spotify ?
I loved this rendition of one of my favourite, Queen songs! Well done Foxes! Seriously she was lovely, in this episode (yes it was a cameo, but still lovely) :D ♡♥
I love this cover, it seriously made the whole season for me.
this was the first I ever heard a queen song (beside we will rock you/champions) and I immediately loved it then I saw bohemian rhapsody and became obsessed with them
still mad I can't buy this song after almost six years!
Three things we learned from this video
Foxes has an incredible voice
This cover and video is amazing
Even the BBC ships Whouffaldi
One of my favourite songs made it n Doctor who, that's what makes it great
as a rule I don't care for covers but she did such a beautiful job. Yes I believe Freddie would approve
This is gorgeous. And the clips make me reminisce over the season so far seeing how far they've come :')
That episode was great
I just keep on coming back to this wonderful rendition again and again. A true marvel.
Ohh I miss Clara.
Same 😭
A beautiful porcelain doll........
Uh.
Waddayah mean "uh"? That's my impression of Clara: a beautiful porcelain doll. Especially when in Victorian dress. She is an exquisite beauty that brings tears to my eyes.
Sorry, just porcelain dolls creep me out...
Never watched Dr. Who and never heard of this singer, but that was wonderful adaptation of a great Queen song! Freddie would be proud, no doubt!
jagreb: you should watch Doctor Who
That glorious moment when your OTP has its own soundtrack.
Shoutout to the audio engineers that managed to capture the warmth in this performance.
She should of had more screen time, that was beautiful though. She would of made a great character.
wow and more wow. Awesome singer, fantastic rendition and fits perfectly into the series. More more more Foxes!
the timing of strax going yaarrgghh at i’m a sex machine lmfao bbc
That was funny.
I hope this will be a special feature on the Series 8 Boxset. Even though I've never heard of Foxes I like this version of Queen's Don't Stop Me Now, you could say it's the music video of Doctor Who Series 8.
This was unexpected but very nice
I love the lounge re-interpretation of the song.. Watched the Doctor Who episode tonight.. Very cool.
Basically an official whouffaldi video. Love it.
Still remember this like it was yesterday!
Wow, i like her voice. I would buy this song !
One of my favorite episode tbh!
beautiful take on a classic song by a beautiful girl
I watch this every week or so, as it always puts me in such a good mood. Add my voice of thanks for this being available. Much appreciated.
Finally a proper Doctor Who music video !
So Proud Of Foxes To See How Far She Has Come And To Appear & Perform On Doctor Who Is Amazing!!
I rarely like Queen covers but this is really good.
Absolutely bloody fantastic. This should be all over he radio stations and music channels. Foxes and those involved on Doctor Who have nailed it.
This could be 12's regeneration music
Yes, I bet it will be! :D
...seriously...
It's too early for him to go. Capaldi is too much of a big fan of the show for him to leave already. Even if Moffat wanted to write him off, Peter would start up a massive fuss (Malcolm Tucker style).
I said that earlier! Imagine just like Foxes wonders along and offs the doctor though XD
Also Capaldi has already signed on for series 9
Tonight I'm gonna have myself a real good time
I feel alive and the world I'll turn it inside out, yeah

tbh i think season 8 has been the best season since moffat took over. i love the doctor and clara but i wish danny had had a bigger role! and also i love this cover and although im not particularly a fan of hers, i think she did a really good job with this
I just saw this episode and I was wondering if there's a full version of this. THANK YOU BBC
Love it BBC!
This is a music video of Doctor Who season 8.
Larry Panozzo yeah! more doctor who music videos!
Flying Monkey please!
I am actually really surprised at how well this works...
Simply perfect.
Out of this world .... Well done ! Freddie would love it ....
Doctor Who is simply amazing
Perfect song to feature in this episode. When you think about it, its about Clara.
Strax the sex machine lol
Amir Agarwal - Sexy potato man!
i love this cover so much
I never looked at this Queen rock number, working as a swing jazz number but it does, wonderfully :)
Well done :)
ABSOLUTE CHILLS!
Thank you BBC for uploading this! Ever since the episode, I've wanted to hear a full cover!
I love Queen, I love Doctor Who... That was great.
This video just showcases how much I've loved this series so far :)
Makes Series 8 look like a feature film of sorts....
this was such a good episode. i loved the setting so much.
I simply must have this song, without all the sound effects from the show. This is an amazing cover.
The amazing Foxes mixed with Queen and Doctor Who. Sublime!
