Yeah decent back then but now…..not so much a much better experience is to download the console version using a ps2 emulator if you have an aya Neo or a steam deck - if you want a portable road rage and even hit and run 😉😏
Eh, there were much more graphically impressive games, than also ran quite decently. This game look O.K.....but all the destinations are nowhere and there aren't landmarks to visit, kinda seems pointless.
@@Xegethra I agree with your analysis; the GBA wasn't powerful enough to handle complex 3D environments and high polygon counts. However, in my honest opinion, if Crazy Taxi, Smashing Drive , Stuntman , Driver series, etc. could showcase a fully 3D rendered city then this video game probably could have looked better than it did. If nobody is working on a real version of the Simpsons Road Rage on the GBA/DS , then I volunteer to assist in the process of creating one in the future. 🙄😊😇🤷
Yeah this version’s graphics definitely haven’t aged well but in my opinion the ps2 version still looks pretty good and is still fun to drive around the world. But to me the best Simpsons game is still the legendary Simpsons hit and run so much detail and jokes from the show have been put into the different areas of Springfield plus the amount of different vehicles is so cool
🏆👯😆😋...thanks for the memories ! As a young kid/teen, I skipped over this version of the Simpsons Road Rage only to regret it years later. Obviously the console versions are far superior, however the mobile version had extra unlocked areas and *new* performance missions ! It is now the first week of February in the year 2020 and I still haven't seen any darn news of a proper sequel to the Simpsons Road Rage or even Hit and Run for that matter. 😨😫😤😛
I'm 13 and i grew up on this game. I now play fortnite and cod but I always play this game at least once a week. When im a dad in many many years I'm going to grow my kids up off these types of games where's there's no rage
One of my very first gba games when I was 5. Definitely meh compared to the console versions looking back at it, but watching this is making me feel very nostalgic
Bruh I remember playing this shit when I was 4 the last time oh my god the memories just game back I was just sitting there and remembered omg the memories are hitting hard rn
Gabriel Fantin the game boy was awesome but it didn’t do well with ports of console games as far as I know as I didn’t play to many games on the game boy that were based on console games
So back in the day the games I had were this game, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, Charlie and the chocolate factory and a 3 in 1 game with spongebob, tak and the power of juju and rugrats I gotta party
I enjoy playing this videogame, but you can't be serious and say that this is an improvement over the GBA version of Crazy Taxi...that featured a fully 3D city (with an extra unlockable city) !?
@@DmitriyK12 Control is key and Road Rage GBA has smoother controls compared to Crazy Taxi, while I still enjoyed both, they both have problems. Also Road Rage GBA has like 2 more unlockable areas, though sadly not 3d
@@PeruvianPotato I would like to see a Sony PSP or a Vita version of the Simpsons Road Rage in 3D plus the additional maps, actual voices, new drivers, from the GBA versions.
To clarify , from the GBA version I want the countryside and mountains maps & pieces of the menus. Also, I would not mind seeing a few more missions, performance or maybe head to head racing from checkpoint to checkpoint .
@@Xegethra yeah I agree while it’s pretty cool to have a kind of 3d Springfield on the gba the background seems to just be like constantly there the whole time not changing much plus I think there could have been more varied locations to visit like in the console versions
Man this looked better when I was 7
Can agree

This game was my shit back in the day.
Captain Motorcycle I feel bad for you
This take me back to 2006 when I was 8. Was so obsessed with this game
great game this fairplay
This game was good, considering the gba graphics and memory limitations.

It did what not even Mario kart could do... s l o p e s

Happy new year 🎉 everyone; one love !
@@DmitriyK12 yeah that would be really cool!
i remember i use to drive around to look at the details of the houses and stuff.. it felt some much more ‘real’ back then

Uber should use this to train new employees
1:59, I always found it funny the way Homer smiles and waves!
This and hit an run(xbox) were huge in my childhood
+Evan Knott same here
Yep
Still love playing hit and run today I just love the attention to detail that has been put into it and the large vehicle roster
Bought this at an airport in New York on my way home to ireland and when I was 4
same as my brother I think
the memories playing this good times!
i remember playing the xbox version but i never thought how nice the gba version looks until now!

My whole childhood....
My first game on my first blue gameboy advanced:)
The GBA version has a different Game Over theme from the console versions!
The console one is 5 seconds, while the GBA version is 3 seconds!
I forgot I had a gameboy advance
I'm having Mario Kart-esque deja vu here.
This is Childhood man 🤣👌
Wow. 19 years has been a long time.
Bruh I remember playing this shit when I was 4 the last time oh my god the memories just game back I was just sitting there and remembered omg the memories are hitting hard rn
SO MANY MEMORIES
I'd forgotten just how awful the GBA version of this game was.
+Captain Packrat i really don't think its that bad
i enjoy this game, even though some starting locations can be a bit confusing
me too, I think it's one of those few rare cases where the gba version is better than the console
The GBA version it's pretty nice, but it's far from better than the console original version..

mode7 pushed to the max

This could have looked much more horrible it's strangely good, though t would have made more sense it have it top down or isometric
Oh man I remember playing this at school..
crazy taxi simpsons?
Pretty much what this game was across all platforms.
My eyes!!! But yeah it is very impressive for a gba game, still the largest game world I’ve seen on the gba
I remember this 👌🏽
Surprisingly, this is a improvement over Crazy Taxi GBA, can't say the same bout the console equivalents

Nostalgia!
2001 the original why 2003 after hit and run ?
highest score for me in road rage: $16,000
I remember I didn’t get the point of the game and I just drove around and lost every time but I still having the time of my life
Pretty much a Simpsons crazy taxi game well the console versions, this is sort of….
I Played this so many times
They broke Mode 7
This hurts my eyes.
3D Driving, but seems incredibly flat! so doesnt quite get there for the GBA!
There's also hardly any buildings and no landmarks. The map is blank.

Mi juego favorito de la gba
I never realized how bad the graphicz were lmao
Yeah they definitely haven’t aged well 😳😳
And this proves that only games that aged "well" on GBA are Pokémon games.
porcodio i feels
The Console Version was better than this.
Oh definitely, still pretty impressive to have a sort of 3d Springfield in the gba version though 😉
this is us version
europe is better
Europe is overrated
What is the difference between the two versions ?
🙄😏
