Like others have said you must check what the max ram speed of your set up is first otherwise you will have issues if you try to set it over the max speed, just because you have say 3200 ram doesn't mean your set up can handle that speed so, for me my max is 2966 but was running at 2666 for my MB (B460-H)and cpu(i7) combo which isnt a major boost in performance at a small increase but if you have 8gb or 16gb of ram then upgrading to 16gb or 32gb will be more noticeable.

Bro, I have a question because when I activate that and set it to 3200 (that is the maximum of my ram) it gives me a Crash in Fortnite, why does this happen?
You're the best! Thank you so much.😁
I set mine from 2100 to 3200 and it’s doesn’t let me boot in to windows. My ram is 64GB DDR4 3200mhz, no matter what I’ve tried I’ve had to reduce it to 2100, any ideas why?? 😭
Heck yeah 6400mhz. Thanks for this great guide!
OH MY GOD THANK YOU it finally fixed my uneven ram hardware reserves
Dude, thank you so much! I was so confused on why my PC kept blue screening. I hadn’t enabled XMP. God bless bro!

I have the ram speed set to 3200 mhz, but how can I know what is the maximum speed that I can select without having problems afterwards?
Hi when ever I put my above the auto it just freezes is that bad I know mine can do 3200 idk why it won’t how much of a different would I notice if I don’t do it
Little Tip: Update your BIOS
The time you uploaded this Video, there are few new bios releases for this board :)
1000% will try this as when i used xmp quick profiles i got the black screen. Been utilizing 5300 instead of my 6400 Max speeds. Fingers crossed this work for me now.
I just bought two 8*2 gb 3200 mhz ram while I had an 8gb 2667 mhz ram, and when I put it I have a cpu debug led which appears when starting the pc in the motherboard that is that I need to do?
What does the 46x or 48x behind the Frequency mean? For Example my DDR5 shows me multiple possibilitys in BIOS: 4800Hz with G2 and G4 and 46x and 48x (even more)?
Same idk which one to choose did u figure it out??
If I have 4 slots , will it optimize all4 ? Because at this very given moment . I’m getting blue screen and while testing to see which stick is messed up. I came across this video .. I checked my ram freq…. It was auto… so I’m wondering . Can that be the issue ??? 🤔 this is my 1sr build btw
did you connect the the 8 pin and the 4 pin for the cpu to over clock or was it just 8 pin by it self thank you
Dude..... bought an AM4 system within budget during covid... I've been under running my 32GB this whole time.... ready to upgrade to Ryzen 7 58003DX if Santa comes thru!!

Watched 3 vids and only yours hellped me 😂❤
that one isnt my issue but close enough for what ever reason ive got half my ram is hardware reserved and no matter what i seem to do it wont change ive spent 3 hours trying to fix it. ive updated my bios to the latest version which was a nigthmare since ive never done it before. then ive tried msconfig a million times and it just sets it to zero rather than 65536. ive even turned off page filing and not a single bit of difference. ive also been told that using different slots for ram helps but how im using all 4 slots for my ram
I had the same thing, enabling DOCP would result in a blackscreen on reset
I have 2*16 dual channel Gskill ram 3200mhz and I set it to 3200mhz but task manager and cpu-z show 1600mhz ??...any help ?

Np bro, do me a favor an hit that sub button.
i have 3200mhz ram on a z370 motherboard and I don't see an option to manually change it in bios. Only way to get the correct speeds is to enable xmp profile and my systems doesnt seen to like it.
Same
That walpaper is sick, could you provide me the link to download that walpaper!
You can get it from Wallpaper Engine. it's called "Japanese Town" on Wallpaper Engine. It's super clean.
I just changed mine today from 2133htz to 3200 htz and my computer started acting up, fortnit either wouldn’t load or would crash before getting on the bus. Worked fine again after I switched it back to 2133htz… Any ideas?
OMG thank you so much. I'm new to PC as I've just built one. Tried ma y times to enable xmp profile in EZ mode and it kept blacking out but thus method literaly saved me thanks

HELP :
I have 2x 3,000mhz Rams
XMP Profile 1 : 2800mhz
XMP Profile 2 : 2933mhz
But if i pick my own DRAM Frequency, i can use 3,000mhz no problem.
My problem is i have Profile 2 activated (2,933) and DRAM Frequency set to (3,000)
Should i turn xmp off ?
How do you find out what your max memory speed is?
On the rams sticks. Take look at it shows it
Or just look up your exact type of Ram and it should tell you
I love the live wallpaper in the background where did you install that from?
You can get the wallpaper on Wallpaper Engine. It's called"Japanese Town"
@@TechGrant thank you I found it
I have a question. I used to have a 8GB ram inserted. Now I have just inserted new dual channel 4X8(16gb 3200mhz) RAM and my pc is suddenly staggering. I've also noticed that by default the pc runs at 8GB of ram even when I only have MS Edge browser open? Does that mean the new ram isn't good or somehow doesn't optimize?
So your still on 8?
@@5jugg No, I already fixed this porblem lol.
