- This is a test of RC 1200 low impedance fuel injectors driven by a "resistor box" that can be used to operate low impedance injectors with an ECU that isn't designed for that type of injector. A resistor box can work acceptably well at the long injector pulsewidths you see when racing, but they work poorly at the short pulsewidths you see in daily driving.
Test voltage is 11 volts, which is what you probably have while cranking your engine, or if you race without an alternator. The 2.0 millisecond test pulsewidth is actually very long for an injector this big trying to idle. A 1200cc injector probably needs to idle at closer to 1 millisecond, which would make it's performance even worse that what you see in this video.
