On your video you talk about not connecting to the same color on the injector side you started with the green but on the pic at the end it shows all the same color. Help please trying to do same setup
Hi did this on the Crx , Xl swap with the f20b but I’m doing now is eg9 civic 1995 and I know I have to have this donde but like you said they are 8 wires n we got 5 wires to play with the 8 ones. I thank you because I was looking for one than plug-in like the others but we have to keep modifying some , thanks one’s aging.
I just bought a prelude for a project anyways, the dude kept poping ecus. its an ob1 h23a3 but i dont see a resistor box, i think you've just helped me good sir.
I had mine plugged into the deadplug with the plug I got off a DA and I've only found continuity between the yellow wires with black stripes from my injector side leading to the harness I got from the DA...
So...will these boxes work fine and mess up after they get hot?...i get a misfire after driving 30min or so. Ive changed entire ignition system and entire fuel system. Miss still comes back after driving a while..i can shut car of for 5 minand will run fine for another 20
If you have the year of the low impedance injectors, yes..here is the years for the H22's 92-95 H22 = 345cc Low impedance 96+ H22 = 290cc High impedance
+Nthefastlane I thought for sure though I pull it off of obd1 accord.. But it doesn't really matter as long as you get a resistor from either obd0,obd1 or obd2 it will still do the same.
sorry for the late post, I just dropped a mini MI swap into my 89 crx, engine and p28 ecu are obd1 harness, intake and injectors are obd0 am I supposed to run a resistor box ? I'm pretty sure I have one but I'm unsure because I have spark , and fuel going to the engine but it just doesn't want to ignite and when I spray starting fluid into my intake it starts up but shortly after dies out as if it's not igniting do you think this is due to the injectors ? or something like the Igniter ?
bro need help...engine does crank but cant start..when checking the injector connector..the ground one doesnt give anytg..what the common problems...someone say thats my ecu grounding problems....
Did this work for you guys? I hooked up the 4 yellow wires and turned the key so I could check to see witch injector is witch and my check engine light is dull. Ps, there’s more then 4 yellow and black wires. There’s 6 Please help I’m going crazy!!!!!! lol
@@PINIWEENIE718 same happens to me after i install the resistor start one time for 2 second and shutoff and never start again and im running a p28 on 2000 civic turbo
Nthefastlane what clips are you referring to. What I did is took my h23 from my prelude which had the low impedance injectors I assume cause the prelude had the risistor installed . I cut my injector wires that are red and wired them into the yellow wires that ran up to the civic injectors I didn't do anything else to the harness. That's Why I Was Wondering If I Made A Harness Like Yours OR If I Ordered One That They have, If I Could Just Plug Into The Back Of THE Civic harness Where That Plug Is Under THE Intake manifold. Hey thanks for replying, I really do appreciate it.
+Fili Tamayo I was just referring to the OBD1 injector clips have to fit the OBD1 injectors. But your h23 may possibly be OBD1 low impedance injectors already, so no need to change out the injector clips. Yes you can do it that way with all the red wires to the yellow wires also.
Nthefastlane so when you said to get all the yellow wires with black line on the harness that you got from the accord, how did you determine those were the ones to hook up to the one yellow on the risistor box. I get the part where you said to turn the key on to find your injectors after connecting to the civic harness. But I thought the colored wires from the injectors were the negative that go to the ecu. And the yellow with the black line were the ones to go to the risistor box. Mine are now red with black line of course cause that's what was in my prelude. Sorry I'm just a lil lost and just want to make sure cause I don't want to fry my ecu. My prelude is obd1 and so is my ecu that I'm using .
You should explain a little better how to wire it because the four yellow and black wires that u say to put to the one solid yellow wire on the resistor side is not correct. The four yellow and blacks are the injector wires that only have contanioty. Hope that helps everybody.
It's been a while but the colored wires with power such as brown, blue, red and one of the yellow/black wires all get soldered to the red/black wires off of the resistor. Then there is a group of four yellow/black wires from the injectors that all get soldered to one yellow/black wire on the resistor.
@@Nthefastlane hey this is what i did and the car start one time for 2 second and shutoff and never start again.. Im going crazy with this situation. Please help thanks

Just found this video, and it is EXACTLY what I needed. Thanks so much for the in-depth tutorial man. This is going to help me out alot. 🤘🏼✊🏼👍🏼
1st time checking out your channel......I like how you have a Bible verse at the bottom of the screen. Much respect and love .God Bless and Amen.

Now I know what those little silver boxes are, in the Accords :)

so i got a 1991 crx si obd0 with a stock resister box can i just putt the dsm injectors on i am running a b18

Far as I know 92-95 civics didnt have the box but 88-91 did if it was mpfi
What ecu did you use
Need more info on this
how do u find what wire is for injector 1,2,3,4?
Here is the easiest way: ua-cam.com/video/x3nqlXM6nOM/v-deo.html
Thanks much
If I have a jdm h22a in a 94 civic on a p13 stock ecu. Would I need to use one of these. ( I haven't started it yet, just did the swap)
If you have the year of the low impedance injectors, yes..here is the years for the H22's
92-95 H22 = 345cc Low impedance
96+ H22 = 290cc High impedance
It's a obd1 black top but I'll test the injectors to be sure nothing's been changed
Hey buddy i have question if i jave a resistor box on my car can i just change the injectors to 440s
Yes, you can lol but you need to have aftermarket ecu to compensate for the added fuel
OBD2 is 96-00. In the video you mention it came off a 90-93 Accord.
Yes but then I realized it actually came off of a obd2 I was trying to remember while I was recording.
+Nthefastlane I thought for sure though I pull it off of obd1 accord.. But it doesn't really matter as long as you get a resistor from either obd0,obd1 or obd2 it will still do the same.

Deliano Contreras I say with the obd1 Ecu shouldn’t have too is it in time and plug wires correct
Do you need to have the 4 yellow wires together first before trying to find the other wires?
how to unwire?
The injector resistor box is on OBD-0 88-91 Civics.
Correct, the ones with the green plugs are Obd0..This one came off a obd2 94-97 Accord.

Not trying to be a troll. Just making sure proper info
So you don't have to cut any wires on the harness. You just plug that connector you made to that plug on the civic harness.
+Fili Tamayo Yes, that is correct. As long as you wired in the low impedance clips so you can connect the low impedance injectors.

Constructive criticism, I believe you're pronouncing it wrong. It's impedance not impediance.

Why do this? Why not add an resistor for each injector? This seems like a lot more wiring work.
Just so you are aware - you are chasing away visitors with your bible quotations.
