    The bad part about 24 is that b isn't the same in both functions, but r, s, and t are the same.
    The quickest way to do it is draw the two points, then see the only place the line is above the exponential function is between those two points, between the x (which are r) values of those two points.
    Think simple. Once you start finding points on the graphs, solving both, you'll see it's taking too long. There has to be a faster way.

    Main point in problem 21. is that the sum sys,the car was at rest.That means the car is stopped.Then accelerated,which means the initial value is o:the graph must start from 0

      The x mark is on the top of the side of the tire, and they are asking for the distance between the x and the ground. So the x would start on top and then when accelerated, it comes down.

    Shouldn't the distance between X and the ground be 0 when X touches the ground?
    And the distance in graph A is never 0

    Why in #29 the new model (3 centimeters) is double the old model (6 centimeters) if the new model is around 21.4 (the half of the new model) that is 64.2? The answer would be C)

    • @ScalarLearning
      @ScalarLearning  3 роки тому

      C is backwards - 1 cm use to represent 6 meters and now 1 cm represents 3 meters.

    I’ve seen problems where it states a particular number, indicates the margin of error, and the confidence level. For example, 16,000 with a margin of error of 450 with a confidence level of 97%. Could you tell me what to do in these cases, please?

    Why Don't you explain while doing the math? At 24 how did you get y=x+24?

    • @ScalarLearning
      @ScalarLearning  3 роки тому

      What do you mean? This is a timed attempt so it's a little faster

    • @kundanmergu9559
      @kundanmergu9559 3 роки тому

      I think you meant 2 and not 24. He chose the 2 points (1,3) and (2,4) that were already given to him because he thought to find the slope and the equation of the linear equation which might help him in the problem

  • @andrjsjan4231
    @andrjsjan4231 3 роки тому +1

    38:29 what did you say here? Why can’t it be wider then 62? Because it is already at 140??

    • @lucasprier9902
      @lucasprier9902 3 роки тому +2

      I was a bit confused, too. But if we stop to think, y-intercept is when x=0, and 62 is y-cordinate for when x=140. I hope it makes sense to you, that was the way that I would think to explain this question.

    Hi Huzefa I have a problem with Q 29, how can 21.4 be the double of 64.2????

    • @mori2061
      @mori2061 2 роки тому

      64 is the airplane
      We’re comparing wingspans
      So the old wingspan is 10.7
      The new wingspan is 21.4
      => the new wingspan is double the old wingspan

    Your no.24 is wrong. Y = (3/2)(2^x) doesn't support answer B. The correct equation is Y = (9/4)((4/3)^x) which we get when put the two points mentioned. It's also assumed that two b(s) in the question are different. My equation satisfies option B. For e.g. you can put .5 and 1.5 to test both the equations and it gets satisfied.
