Yes, you can smoke on the resort. Just cannot smoke in the restaurants where the food is it? You can smoke ganja wherever you want on the resort, just not the restaurants. Been there many of times😊😅❤❤❤
Would you recommend booking my excursions online now before trip or it's best/affordable to wait till I get there so I can do it from the hotel? Also would you recommend to exchange currency here or when u get there? Thank you.
The floor counts that Jamaica do we do that in England and Europe. The ground floor is considered 0. And the upstairs which you count as 2nd floor we considered the 1st floor. Sort of makes sense. The ground floor or 0 is level so you can go out. 1st floor indicate height to us. So not level with the earth. If that makes sense
Yeah! No one was too pushy. They had to stay in the water so the only time they could come up to you is if you were in the water. If you nicely say no they won’t bother you
Uhm smoking in the US is more popular than in Jamaica, believe me. I've been to Vegas, I live in NYC, been to almost everywhere in Florida, and have been to about 16 other US states and cities. Also, why would they have AC outside in an open space? LOL
I agree! I think a lot of people used to go to Jamaica for weed back in the day, but I don’t think it is as appealing anymore since it is legal in so many places. I think it is what used to draw tourists and that industry is struggling for them.
@@more2explore516 , the industry is not struggling for Jamaica, and people don't go to Jamaica for weed. People go there for the beaches, food, rivers, rainforests, the culture, music, majestic waterfalls, everything that the country has to offer. Jamaica is known for weed because it is associated with the Rastafarian culture, but weed was illegal in Jamaica up to 2015, which a lot of people find shocking. If you look at the historical data, dating 20 years back, the tourist arrivals for Jamaica have steadily increased over the years. The trajectory is set to reach 5 million visitors, even though the world is recovering from a pandemic. Jamaica is in the top 2 (currently) for the most visited Caribbean country.
I highly recommend getting out of the resort and experiencing the country. You would learn that those are patties, not empanadas in Jamaica
😭
😂😂😂 I was coming to the comments section to say that so thank you
😂😂 when I heard that I was like patties 😆 they definitely taste better out of the resort
I immediately came to say this after hearing it 🤦🏿♀️🥴
This was beyond informative and I enjoyed previewing the resort from your pov
This is the ultimate best review! Your details are unmatched. Everyone else just shows the "fun". Yours is a true, detailed review. Nice work❤
Thank you for this awesome review! Planning a trip there and your review has set my mind at ease about my decision. Great job!
This was by far the most helpful and detailed review!
Thank you so much!!
Thanks for coming Parri!🇯🇲
THANK U FOR SUCH A GREAT REVIEW IM LOOKING TO GOTO THIS RESORT FOR MY BDAY IN NOVEMBER
Such a great review. Thank you! ❤

Excellent review. Will be there next week so super helpful info ❤😊
It’s good to see the hotel totally remodeled. I stayed there in it’s third month after it originally opened back in 2007.
So did we.. looks really modern now
It looks better but still has issues. I stayed there in 2018 then again this summer. Had a better time the first time I visited.
Very good video, greetings from Argentina🙋♂
Nice review thanks, I’m going in September.
Have a great time, we sure did!
Thank you for this!
This resort is beautiful, I give it a 8 out of 10
Love this review! Going in July. Around what time do the pools and beach start to get busy?
Have fun! Maybe around lunchtime they picked up
Thanks for the resort information
I’ve just got back to Uk from the resort.
Totally enjoyed my experience there and would highly recommend.
Hi, I’m going in 2 weeks. Did you have to pay a deposit during check in?
Would you recommend booking my excursions online now before trip or it's best/affordable to wait till I get there so I can do it from the hotel? Also would you recommend to exchange currency here or when u get there? Thank you.
Can any1 tell me how much a taxi is from rui montego bay to the hip strip? Going this Sunday 28th
Great review. Thank you. Was there any seaweed by the beach?
There was a little bit in the water. You could see it so we avoided those sections
Was the beach rocky?
Can you take a yeti mug and have the bar fill them up?
Yes! I highly recommend bringing some sort of tumbler
Is there a cost for the restaurants that are at the hotel? Looks amazing
Nope!! Everything is included. I think there were some higher end wines you could pay extra for but the house red and white are included
Nice video, is this resort adults only?
Yes, this one is!
Did you visit either of the sister resorts?
We didn’t go in, we just walked along the beach to see them. Definitely different vibes at each of them

Yes! Totally makes sense, thanks for explaining. It is just different than we do in the USA
We’re dumb in the US lol
16:23 thank you 😅
Is there a lot of smoking? I personally cant stand it, and that would keep me away.
The pools closes???
Yes, unfortunately. They close pretty early but there is plenty of other fun things to do at night
Are the beach vendors cool ?
Yeah! No one was too pushy. They had to stay in the water so the only time they could come up to you is if you were in the water. If you nicely say no they won’t bother you
try to always get out and about and see the countryside once in a while.
Thats not an RV! But the resort looks really cool.
Are there elevators?
Only the buildings with 4 floors. The buildings with 3 floors do not
@@more2explore516 all this time I thought there was no. I was on the 3rd floor, no elevator
