Megan Bassett No Gleb is an officer who is told at the beginning of the musical that Anya (Anastasia) is saying that she is Anastasia so Gleb tells her she has to stop that his father was the one who helped kill her family (in the song the neva flows) She then continues and goes off the Paris and he realized that she might not be lying and that he also fells a connection to her (explained in the song still) so now he has tracked her down and is saying either she gives up this idea that she’s Anastasia and comes back with him or he will finish his fathers work

We have both lost our parents and we helped each other ever since," "I will not kill you anya, but i cant return to russia, i failed my mission, failed my country" "But not your humanity, you are good person gleb, you should stay here" "H-here? Why should i?" Anya gently took his hand and squeezed it "Because you can be happy, be normal" There was spark in both in their eyes "Yes, i geus thats for the best" epilogue: anastasia and gleb are married, living in hiding in her grandmothers estate and have 2 kids, anya and alexei
