Jeanty has been seen carrying 800 pounds on his back…they were wearing WSU jerseys. Several times in the game, Jeanty made plays where fans just looked at each other and said, “Are you kidding me?” Very Barry Sanders’s type moves with more power and speed.
Nothing to be ashamed of CouchGm!! Your Cougs were beat from the game before and Boise was super fresh from sitting starters against Portland State. Your team is still 4-1 that looks good. Onto the next!! Get some rest for this bye week and come back swinging!! I’m a Boise state fan but my “little” cousin plays for your Cougs. Guard Rodrick Tialavea 57!! Finish this year strong and good luck!! Go Broncos 🤙🏽
Check out the CLIMB documentary series. It shows the video of him squatting 605 pretty quickly. They say he could probably do closer to 650 or even 700 if the trainers let him
An earlier broadcast this year said Jeanty squats 600lbs, the commentators then said he can squat 700, but the strength and conditioning coaches don't let him put that much weight on the bar. 700 sees like a stretch, but the way he runs over guys and drags them 7 yards, I wouldn't be shocked if he can squat 600+
You gave a very fair explanation of the game. WSU is a good team. You will possibly win all your remains games. Boise is better this year and hope the new teams entering the PAC 12 thrive as well!
I was worried about BSU defense, but they stepped up to the plate. I know Washington is a good team, so I knew this would be a touch game. Sucks we lost to Oregon by 3 points. I hope we are back to the Kellen Moore days; I miss those years.
I loved the miscues you brought up - I couldn't agree more with those & I'd add the sack we took on the Boise 25 to start the 3rd, taking 3pts & tons of momentum off the board. Tough game overall but still a fantastic season on the horizon
There is video of Jeanty doing 605 lb squats, and he looks like he's not even struggling. I've heard rumors that he could easily do more but the coaches don't want him to accidentally hurt himself.
Nice video. I’ve always liked Wazzu and think this rivalry will grow for sure. Cougs played tough, really enjoyed having them come to the blue again. Good luck guys, Mateer is legit and I would not have predicted such a good defensive performance against him yesterday. See yall next year!
Commentary on one of the games this year mentioned that Jeanty squatted over 600lbs and could squat close to 700lbs but the strength coaches wouldn't let him.
Doesn’t really matter for this game but we are 8-2 against Boise. We need to quit acting like we’re the underdogs here. We played badly, plain and simple. A few bad plays at bad times plus a beast of a running back made this game score look worse than it did. Mateer always compliments his o-line, but he has been under pressure since day one.
Jeanty if he stays healthy and keeps up this productivity will put in the most historic season of any college football player to ever lace up a pair of cleats. History is being made on a weekly basis every Saturday when Boise State takes the field. Stay tuned
Nice coverage! Yes, Ashton Jeanty squatted 605 and made it look easy. There IS video out there of the feat. (No Rex Ryan Pun intended)
I heard too that there's suspicion that he could do upwards of 700 lbs but the strength staff won't let him try

You've been grinding all year, glad it's paying off! Although i'm a Ducks fan I follow you for your great Mariners content.

Yes Jeanty squared 605 this summer. I’m pretty sure he now holds the record for the heaviest squat in program history haha

Sheesh. His running game has me believing it
This! I was going to leave the same comment, but scrolled downed to check if anyone mentioned it.
I was just about to say this. He wanted to go for more but got told no lol. Jeanty is a beast
Jeanty, like Chuck Norris, squats all of the pounds.
I’m going to wsu for college
Great choice! Go Cougs
Rumor has it jeanty can squat more than 600, but the coaches won’t let him lol
I 100% agree with the bad play call going for it on 4th down, it was a foolish move and set the tone for a downhill trend.
WSU has the type of remaining schedule where they should win out and be favored in every game.
How was that not a safety?
He has been seen with 685 on his back.
Both teams should be 1 loss for the season. That is as long as Boise gets it done at UNLV
Having Jeanty is unfair. Dude looks like he's playing against kids how he breaks those tackles.
WSU Cougs couldn't tackle! It's been an issue from the season opener and continues still.

If he stays healthy and continues to dominate, he should get The Heisman.
@@mikepounds8055 I've started calling him Hei2man Jeanty instead of Ashton lol
