Elgin's Sheep farm. Yeah. Still got a nice pair of winterboots from them. Parked the truck half a mile west of the entrance and walked back. Nice store, beautiful woolen items.
As a young man life is a bit of a rush. Baby coming then it will be rush, rush, rush, I wish I could get some sleep.
Sounds like someone needs a Vacation Or a time out... to back off and regroup, it's what we Americans call R & R, rest and reorganization. or rest...you'll ride through the dark time's Josh...hang in there...😀
Always good when you can come home and have some quality time with the wife and the rest of the family.

Josh I really enjoyed seeing that part of Ontario today.
It reminded me of when I was on the road, leaving Winnipeg heading east hauling for a local tanker company with green Peterbilts and Kenworths.
When they still had an inspection station in Keewatin just outside of Kenora I got pulled in for an inspection.
The senior inspector said he was training a new guy and asked if it would be ok. I said have at er.
Was done within the hour and had my passing paperwork to go.
In Vermillion Bay I was pulled in again and they wanted to do an inspection, I showed them the paperwork from the one I just had an hour and 15 min ago but it didn’t matter to them, the same inspection all over again.
My, at the time young blood was starting to boil.
You only have so many hours to drive in a day, right.
So anyways after an hour there I was off.
Then I got to the Pass Lake inspection station just after Thunder Bay.
Well here we go again.
Was told to stop so I could be measured.
Then was told to park and come in.
Remember me saying my blood was starting to boil?
Well I went in and showed them 2 clean bills of health from 2 inspections within the last 5 hours.
Didn’t matter, was told to bring in all documentation again.
Well there was this very well rounded OPP officer there along with the DOT guy.
I slammed my book of documents on the counter and complained about the harassment.
To which the well rounded OPP officer said, SON THIS IS AN INSPECTION STATION!
To which I replied, not quietly either, I GATHERED THIS WASENT A 7-11 WHEN I DIDNT SEE THE SLURPEE MACHINE.
He went quiet and looked thru my papers and handed them back and said SON THE NEXT TI E YOU COME IN HERE YOU SHOULD LEAVE YOUR ATTITUDE OUTSIDE!
To which I replied, IF YOU DONT WANT MY 😮ATTITUDE IN HERE, DONT INVITE ME BACK IN!
The look on his fat round face was priceless.

That’s some pretty scenery on the drive today. Glad you’re keeping busy.
Love that stretch of hwy because after a couple days of pulling our rv across the Province, we are FINALLY across Ontario! Lol. If you think life is rushed now, wait until that baby arrives!!
I love the way that turbo sounds when it spools up as you shift through the gears..

For the non Canadian, "Tims" is a franchise coffee shop (Tim Hortons). As a Canadian snowbird, I do miss my Ice Caps.

Ol' Blue is running pretty smoothly going down the road. Love the views along the highway and the trees covered with snow on them. It's a pleasure riding shotgun with Trucker Josh at the (new) steering wheel. Glad you made it home safely to Brit and the boyz.

Hmm, rectangular metal frame with pressure spray nozzles, connect to hot water heater or tank?, fresh rinse every time you back into the shop! Remote control like a garage door opener for fun truckin activities? (might have to grade the floor outside or to a drain?)

Love how you pull up Google Maps to show us where you're at. I use that tool all the time when I want to go anywhere. The frost on the trees sure looks beautiful, but I wouldn't want to be standing out there looking like a statue in that stuff. Enjoy a little couch time!

I may be one of those 15. When I get the notice of a post I hit it and I like it right away and then I come back and watch two or three episodes back to back. Strange but true.
When you retire you can set back on the home stead in country and enjoy the grand baby , right now its bust your butt
Trucker Josh how many lot lizards do you go through in a week.. I just started trucking and I have atleast 10-15 a week.
