The extreme cold added to the winter diesel blend did use to decrease our fuel economy up to 20% in the winter. Also depending head winds.
You may never end up rich from driving Ol Blue Josh but all that matters is the work ethic you have, the hard work, and dedication you put into what you do that matters. As long as a person puts in an honest days work to support his or her family, that is all that matters. You work hard and you and your fellow truck drivers deserve more credit than you get. God Bless and be safe sir.
As the British say... "Mind the Queue".
Too bad ya can't use Dr Smith's quote from Lost In Space...." oh , the pain"
From Steinbach to Innisfree, that's a lot of ground there.
I respect you for the way you're taking of your truck, but more importantly you're a family man. I have been driving since 1984 the one thing I was most proud of was my family. Stay true to yourself and stay safe.
One of my biggest pet peeves is lack of signage. Put signs up so we know where to go. Sheesh. Truck it safe Josh 😎
Exactly !!! We all DID learn how to read. Very handy.😉
Nice to spend a little time with you on the vlog, you sure make natural conversation, a real skill when you have to imagine an audience
Yes I’m watching the video. Glad it’s doing well for ya.
Have to be smart like Trucker Josh :)
If a truck is in a man i petty that man 🤣 and u had the truck since may 😱 it dont feel like it was that long
Really good truck for a 2008...
Love the blog Josh, travel safe. And turn that CB on!!! It's a safety tool, man. You never know when it will save you from "bad stuff" ahead.
so funny, if you go to street view in Grenfell, SK, to the service road of that PetroPass, depending where you 'walk' with the puppet it changes from a Petro to an Esso station (the latter is what it was when I still came out there. I just knew there was truck parking in Grenfell, couldn't remember exactly what😃)
Using up the whole clock like a good trucker
You bought a good truck taking care of it is the key.
I wish our hours in England were the same as yours over there! We can only drive 9 hours (extended to 10 twice a week) and work no more than 13 hours a day (15 hours, 3 times a week)
Remember the hours of service in America
Looks like your streering wheel needs to be tweaked.
You’re putting on some miles😂
Yes that’s one long day , 1226 km! Safe travels and keep up the great videos!👍👍
Keeping on with the Leger
Im a new trucker , driving 5 ton until I’m done my class 1 , and I have to say I don’t think I would have caught that right away 😂 love the videos josh , from PENTICTON BC! 🇨🇦
LOL..@ Saskatoon
is a fail
HI BRO. great vlog keep em coming. the only thing I've ever seen quicker than your jacket change is my wife emptying my wallet LOL
I fed up with downtown Winnipeg....Moving to St.Boniface. Everyone very nice there :)
Hi Canadian I think the old owner feels very at ease that you’re the new owner , did you say snow is melting until the next snow storm take care friend , hi to Brit and baby bump. From Huntington Beach California. Wow not 6 per gallon but 4 .
Yeah you can’t take the driver out of the truck take the truck away from the driver but once you’re a driver you’re always a driver for the same thing with the copilot I ran with my dad for six years it was the best six years of my life
Don't ever sell Ol Blue.....drive it till it won't go anymore. I did that to my cargo van, I bought it off a guy I worked with. It had about 100,000 miles, I put another 670,000 miles on it. Same with my cars, i will drive em til they can't drive anymore. 3 of em, i pout 1.2 million miles on em.
Use Brit's clear nail Polish to fix chips on windshield
keep on keeping on
That truckstop was like that atleast 2 years ago, i had a blow out just up the road, and then copped a blizzard the next night on my way back through.
4.38 mpg is like getting kicked in the plums
Stopped at that Petro Can while out west driving from Langham Sask to Edmonton …nice view ☺️☀️😎
Trucker Josh be using the 'Zack Johnson aka the actor who plays the Millennial Farmer on you tube' snap trick. Good on ya!
Love the content from Australia keep it up josh
You got me beat on fast! Good night!
Do you think having that aero cap on top of your cab help in fuel efficiency when you pull a tall cargo like this?
Keep safe out there and in between the ditches
Love Your Shows My Guy💪🏿
When you going to be in meadow lake
I find some comfort in watching Tjv
Wow...can't believe it's been that long since you put yer W9 on the road....June 2022...then I go pass you on highway 1 east of Balgonie Bologna! on June 30th 2022, wish I hadn't been doing a lil over the limit so I could of waved!
HI Josh!!
Hey, Josh I went from Michigan to Laredo Texas in 30 hours (expeditor)
I hate getting rid of any vehicle I've owned. However, some vehicles are much easier to let go than others. Glad you and Ol' Blue have bonded with each other and get along so well. In Minnesota, windshield replacement due to cracking from rock are totally free through your car insurance. The crack has to be longer than a dollar bill.
Don Shaw - Vehicles remind me of women. Some you never want to lose and others you can't wait to lose. lol
HAPPY NEW YEAR TRUCKER JOSH !!
Love the videos and the dogs! Keep up the great work.
Having a BVD petroleum card your fuel would have only cost 1080.00
You are paying a huge hood tax🤔
I wud have to disagree on th used items Josh. Sometimes u can get great things used
Somebody might have bumped the valve by mistake.
I like how you said Logbook(s).. plural. 😜😜. Hope the guys at Reelco International treated you good. Couple hunting camp buddies work there.
I'm wondering if you notice any difference in feel, vibration etc, between the old banjo style steering wheel and this new one.
Cud u do underglow Josh? Wud look great!
what is 16 hours in canadian?
Why did you load the reels that way, instead of letting the window go thru
Hey Josh how do you deal with the loneliness on the road?
Wondering if you could have tarped that load? Would it have made a significant difference in fuel mileage?
Oh FYI your steering wheel is still one spline off no big from watching it on TV you need to go to the right one spline I could be wrong 50-50-90 rule 50/50 I might be right 90% I'm wrong
Good Night!............
Hey Josh
How do you manage to keep the truck window free of steam in such low temperatures?
I would appreciate it if you could explain in detail...
Enjoying your videos, keep them coming. I have a question about your hours of service though, According to the new (Mar. 2022) Canadian NSC 13 hours driving in a day is correct, but they have changed the on-duty hours of service to 14 hours. Are you still working off the old hours of service, or am I missing something?
Pranks are supposed to be funny. Calling that a prank is being way too kind.
Hey Josh that was a good old haul ya did if you go back the same way can you do a full clip of Lloydminser used to live there it changed so much thanks if you can and give me a shout out it would be awesome all good if you butcher my last name keep on trucking drive save bud
First to Joshy!
Yeah, Saskatchewan is pretty. Yeah she's pretty flat.
sure you have said but whats your motor and tranny?
Its a Cummins ISX (deleted) paired with an 18 speed. The engine is producing 692 hp at the crank and 616 at the wheels. (Previous owner)
