@@thatboysims3k879 RiMS Racing is by far the single most realistic bike sim on the market. VSMaster has no idea what he's talking about, and doesn't know anything about bikes.
RiMS is hands down the most realistic motorcycle simulator I have ever tried in my life. I've been riding for many years, including track days. Wow. I am blown away. Truly amazing. The motorcycle components also wear and deteriorate as you ride the bike, and depends on how hard you stress them. That is a welcome and immersive feature. The bike customization is also great. Very in-depth, and fantastic. But it's just such a shame how TERRIBLE the career mode has been structured. Absolute garbage. Firstly, you don't get much opportunity to actually ride the bike which you have customised. By that, I mean, you mostly only get to participate in some random races, with no practice time. The rest of the career forces you to ride stock bikes, often in the same manner. And the track list is small. The tracks are laser scanned, so they are very high quality, but I just wish they would have included tracks like Sepang, Phillip Island, Dijon Prenois, and Grobnik.
@@ExtraterrestrialExcrement It's a very, very realistic bike sim, with bikes which behave EXACTLY like they do in real life. So racing 40 laps, going as fast as you can, without crashing, can be a challenge. Even 15 laps will be hard, because the components wear. As they wear, the bike can require more concentration from you, especially if you are pushing components hard. Check out a channel called "Urban Chaos 2.0" He has some pretty cool RiMS Racing videos.
I'm glad RIMS exists because Milestone just has no competition, they were always able to make 7/10 games at best. I like Ride 3 and 4 but they're all missing too much stuff and Milestone just never bothered, because they never needed to. I wish they'd keep updating the game instead of abandoning it already and then releasing Ride 5 years later. Polyphony did that with GT Sport and it turned out well.
Came here to say that exact thought! It brings new elements in motorcycle genre. Physics seem more realistic, the wear of tires and components based on your driving style and actions, all the temperatures, is bringing the motorcycle racing (sim) game much closer to car racing sims. I would say that RiMS, as it is at the moment, with bike selection found in Ride(3,4) has massive potential to be great hit - both for casual and sim racers. I would add just one more thing, referring to single player mode, and it is a negative one. The difficulty settings. They should have more options in career mde. I've found the middle one is the best, but it is far from great since you can't select custom options and some components of difficulty are paired, and they definitely should not be. Ideal settings options, in my mind, would be: one part - opponent riders level (and aggression), second part - tire and component ware and crash severity, and third, last, but not least, the management for an event (skipping and restarting, number of laps and so on). Oh, one more thing: menu and navigation. Should have taken from older gran turismo games, and the used bike market is not a bad idea, I think...?
Milestone are too busy making rally games and Motogp to actually give a fuck about the arcade spin off "ride" the last time they gave a fuck was ride 3 but even that was hardly fun compared to rims.
I was just watching another gaming channel's review on this game and they said it was disappointing. Also they wouldn't recommended it because it's too hard to play for the causal gamer. The commenter also posted the link to this video as well and I'm happy they did. I'm subscribing and I'm also getting the game.

In my opinion TrackDayR is the best motorcycle simulator (not the best game since it has no career mode) but the simulation is by far the best in motorcycle simulation. Maybe you could do a review on it? ;)
No. Track Day R is quite behind in terms of physics. Even behind GP Bikes. And GP Bikes is quite bad, because the people making bikes for that game don't know ANYTHING about bikes. Those bikes handle like they're on ice, and don't have much weight to them.

They can barely keep that show on the road, let alone make a game. A satellite Moto3 seat is a more sought after and respected ride than a factory WSBK seat.
depending on language translation (not in this case) it's drive as standard. being in transport outside of our own control when it comes to vehicles is riding (passenger) as riding the bus, and something we are in control of is driving (driver) as in driving the bus. that said i'm not sold on neither this or Ride 4 😂 i'm holding out for an open world like Horizon series but for bikes.
It's the only game I've ever tried to get a refund for. It's a typical Kylotonn game: Rough, unpolished, unfinished and basic. The fluidity of Moto GP and the clunky, cartoony physics of this mess couldn't be further apart.
