Thank you! It's ACP (Aluminum Composite Panel). Us sign shops use sheets of this daily and end up with lots of throw away scraps. Most of the time they have a gloss and matte side.
Are these anything like the utrect 230? I bought some lettering brushes years ago and can't get them to work at all. They look like these. I don't know, they are just so floppy and droopy. I still have the brushes, I just don't use them, I gave them a good try too. They discontinued the Utrcht 230 series and the 229 so at some point I need to find a new brush.
I know what you mean Scot, I've struggled for thirty years blowing money on Grey squirrel, Sables, Langnickles, Grumbachers, Macks, and many more and I was always frustrated. These are the real deal! They don't flop around, they keep their shape and the have a sweet, clean chiseled edge.Try a #1 liner and #4 Kwill, they are good intro brushes. I use these with 1-Shot exclusively. I use the Utrecht brushes with cel-vinyl and water base. Let me know. Thank you!
ACM (Aluminum Composite Material) It’s a standard sign shop panel substrate. sign shops like mine throw away pounds of it. Find any sign shop and they would be happy to give you their throw away scraps.
Henry Murrell neither of the chain stores mentioned had any interest in my brushes , Michaels wanted me to go to Texas for a course on “how to sell my products to their company”...
